spoke with some reps today (yes on sunday, amazingly).... gave them a lil education

Wow I knew I should've tried today. Good job.

Sent out emails, gonna send more tomorrow and start calling early to their offices. I'm expecting a big turnout, short notice but there's a lot of people that are going to show up.

There's something happening here
But what it is ain't exactly clear...

Never give up the fight :tiphat:

There was a line out the building! And 2 overflow rooms with probably 300 people in them. I've been hearing some things.

The law enforcement testimonies are going first.

One interesting thing is a DEA agent stepped up and said he has never arrested somebody saying they are a caregiver. It is always a big cartel or other operation where they have or might have a medical card but go way over their plant limits, ie not following the rules.

I think 750 - 1000+ people have showed up so far. There is a stream online. No community testimonies have happened yet.

Fucking bastards trying to tread on our constitution. If they want to change the constitution, make an amendment legally, not this back door bullshit that they keep trying to pull. They are not following the will of the voters and should all be recalled!! We should get a list of anyone supporting these illegal bills and spread that on Facebook, Instagram, here, and other marijuana friendly places to let people know who wants to shit on the will of the Colorado voters so we know who to vote out next election cycle.

No kidding ^

I'll be very discriminating with them come election time if they want to paint language that makes caregivers and doctors synonymous with black market bs.

Both bills are moving on to a second hearing, they're trying to push them through fast.

HB17-1220 went down with 11 in favor and 2 against. One on the fence but said yes for now. There was an amendment added to reduce it to a misdemeanor and a $1000 fine to anyone caught growing over 12 plants in a residential neighborhood. This is basically forcing anyone with an extended medical plant count to move to an agriculture or commercial spot in order to grow as much as they medically need. How can you tell a person who already has spent out the ass on medical bills to go get an agriculture property?

Listening to this assembly was fucking infuriating. They do not know their own laws and their own constitutional provisions. They listened to people crying and in pain who need more than 12 and they all went and passed it anyway. Fucking soulless bastards. I got sick and tired of listening to these politicians with out the slightest clue as to what is going on try to tell people that it wouldn't affect them or that they would have to go before their city council to get a variance to grow that 13th plant and up. After getting that misdemeanor charge of course.

How much of a fire hazard is growing any other vegetables in a residential home?

There was one politician who thought 12 was too low and recommended for 16 or another number. The bill is still being fast tracked.

This is the dispensary lobby going after their only real competition, which is high quality home growers. We saw this coming, surprised it took em this long. They are using the excuse of fire safety and out-of-state exports, but the government is enticed by ditching medical pot all together by at least persuading a majority of patients not to renew their cards, forcing everyone to buy buy buy from retail stores, pay full tax, and not grow or have a caregiver. And we all know 80-90% of retail stores struggle with things like PM and/or russet mites, especially since they can't get their shit together since they were banned from using systemics.

Its never a good idea to re-illegalize something that was legal.

imo more likely than "big cannabis" being to blame; these bills are from law enforcement and prison guard lobbists imo
one of the bills is ALL about money for training police
that being said im sure the dispensaries are happy to see these bills be fast-tracked and pushed thru

i've spent a good amount of time in the last 5 days on the phone with some of the sponsors of these bills trying to work out details and legal avenues for real med patients to continue doing what they have been legally doing - growing their doctor recommended plant count as simply and cost effectively as possible with as much personal oversight and attention to detail as possible

...and I'm sure they are as worried about this as you are.
I saw this coming long ago.
When they pass new garbage, I wont listen to that either.

In Rhode Island the dispensaries have made several brazen attempts to ban patient growing completely, basically just bribing crooked legislators to file the bills.

They succeeded in forcing medical patients to have to buy $25 annual "tags" for each plant. What a joke. NEVER comply with stuff like this. Taxing plants. What's next, having to buy a "tag" every year to use your dick?

So when I checked he girls today I found this-

It was fine yesterday & the others are seemingly fine. Everybody got moved up to bigger pots a week ago. The moisture level & soil are the same all around.

I mean, uhh, WTF? I hope this isn't the start of a trend...

I had this already this spring. I was testing a water cloner and it isnt what I'm used to... I'm also in a basement that I hadnt been in long. I dont know what kind of problems the last guy had, but I can say that the outlet burning up my equipment was a 120 outlet on a 120 wire but it had 240 running to it in a most fire-unsafe fashion, so I cant speak to their problem solving skills.
I assumed that I had a fuscarium or verticullm wilt, so I tossed em in to recycle and got some tricho and hit em heavy to eat the bad fungus... but I lost some strains...

looks like fungal pathogen to me, j... bummer
tricho is a good solution; some em1 probably wouldn't hurt either.... to treat other plants in the room, i don't think much is going to bring that lady back but keep us posted

never used the stuff
but
everytime i've had a problem like this with a plant
i've lost either the entire plant or most of the plant - all at once

I would recommend trying it out for any root rot type issues. I know they are probably different type issues but I ran into it last winter when my veg area was staying very cold all the time. I over watered and the root systems got pissed with them being so cold too. I used the Actinovate and they got better. Ever since then I was sure to keep a little heater in that room and they have been way happier since.
