I remember white fluff crystal from the 90's :huggg:

I unfortunately also remember a lot of fake 'acid' (DOC/B and aMT primarily, also random ergolines that were unpleasant and not actual LSD-25). A matter of the times. Though I know you slightly older folk with the lavender may have seen DOB and some other stuffs in the day.

Spice and the like were created through rational drug design (usually fulfilling a research need first, then a blackmarket), and most have little to do with the traditional cannabinoids (strictly structurally speaking). They merely act on CB1/CB2 in similar fashions (though most are full-agonist vs partial). This is the conclusion of my sciency sounding knowledge, hehe.

As a youth I spent a great deal of time consuming a vast array of psychedelics (well nearly everything) and indeed for a few months (trying to piss clean) using an array of synthetic cannabinoids.

In my estimation, the majority of new synthetic chemicals (spice, bath salts, "molly" that isn't MDMA, et.al) are a response to drug laws... the labs in China and India and such take existing drugs like MDMA and they change one tiny thing, come up with MDPV which has almost the same effect and it passed through customs easy as pie... so the feds get up to speed and ban the new item, make a new chemical test, and by that time, the newest 2CB or whatever is on the scene with no testing...

Its cat and mouse...

Same thing with meth and crack turning into bathsalts which is now such a generic term theres barely a chem to point to specifically... it wont be solved easily because each new variation wont test "positive" for the chems that came before them...

And why is this really?

I contend Cannabis prohibition is a key factor and many would choose it if given free will.

Everyones all like "legalize marijuana, man.... reschedule it please at least..."

...and I'm just over her wondering why we are begging a tyrannical gang of thugs for fucking permission to use a plant that the earth already provides us...

...I feel like we should all just band together and collectively start disobeying and refusing to comply in such large numbers that they could never arrest us all and completely clog our entire court system as we all push for jury trials on absolutely everything further clogging up the government until they admit the law is as obsolete as it truly is and leave us all completely alone on this issue...

That is my simple solution. Non-compliance.

Rights do not get given away by kings... never has a king decided not to be a king.

We already have our natural human rights.

When will we collectively realize it?

America was founded by rugged hell-raisers who evaded taxes, stood against tyranny, grew hemp and tobacco, brewed beer and whiskey, and smuggled weapons.

And it may necessarily require being saved by those same types of patriots....

Do you begin to see, then, what kind of world we are creating?
It is the exact opposite of the stupid hedonistic utopias that the old reformers imagined.
A world of fear and treachery and torment, a world of trampling and being trampled upon, a world which will grow not less but more merciless as it refines itself.
Progress in our world will be progress toward more pain.

With out giving to much away, I'm looking at sub dividing a piece of land and having freedom loving growers buy into it with a common house/ meeting area as a center piece where everyone can hang out and share ideas, food, weed. Everyone would have a acre with their own space and living/growing areas. Everyone would pitch in for a community garden with vegetables and help each other out with security for outdoor grows.

I've similar dreams minus the subdivisions & larger spaces for each family.
Good luck finding folks that will cooperate with you!
I've a friend that is working toward a similar goal but they keep running everybody off because there's either no infrastructure & folks dont want to live in tents or because he's kind of a dick & his business communication skills need serious improvement.

I'm tired of seeing people buying up land and then subdividing shit!
So buy up some land of your own. It's a great investment!
The population isn't getting any smaller either.
I'm not really a fan of these developers purchasing pristine forests & sub dividing them but it's inevitable in this capitalistic society that everything will become a commodity for sale to somebody else.

Ownership should be treated as stewardship.
In other words, we should be compelled to help the land instead of destroying it.

I have a solid business plan, investors, and a lawyer onboard. Everything is planned with current laws in mind, from the size of the lots, size of houses, plant counts etc... People try for a hippie compound, never going to work... For one thing everyone is included in a plant count if everyone is on the same property... Zoning laws and the amount of buildings per property...

In our plan There's a board of directors, community "service" required for land owners... I could go on but people will take my plan and that's not going to happen...

Not piss to off anyone's lifestyle but dirty hippies need not apply, unless they have unique skills that are a asset to the community. Money alone will not get you a place either...

Disabled people will be welcomed and cared for by a RN that sits on the board of directors. That's one of the stumbling blocks right now, paperwork and permits for this part of the planned construction might work into a phase two...

Depending on what part of Colorado your in, you might or might not ever hear about it. We're looking for quality not quantity! It's about being a asset in life and within the community. This won't be no hippy compound and it won't be a drunken redneck shoot em up place either... It will be a mix of both with a balance voted on by community. This also isn't about just weed that's just a benefit of choosing to live or vacation in the community...

The people you are looking for would just buy their own land and not have to deal with the bullshit rules, and neighbors.

Your plan has failed before launching. What happens when you can't grow your own anymore? So many flaws it's not even worth fucking with.

So on the subject of alternatives, I just picked up some kratom to test out. Any of you homies here ever try it? Heard they're about to make it illegal, so I had to grab some before they did. Thoughts? Opinions? Going to do a lot more research before trying it.

Think of it like a HOA in a planned community where people like and have a say in who lives there. With neighbors helping each other, a place where you can borrow a shot glass of ph down from the person across the street...

A place a grower can take a vacation and know that his door won't get kicked it and his shit ripped off and his grow will be just fine in the capable hands of his neighbors...

Federal law prohibits guns around grows... Nothing says a community armory with personal safes is off limits. Or some grow and some have the neighborhood watch...

This isn't for everyone it's not meant to be... Some people like structure and like to get to know their neighbors like a small town, like Colorado used to be! Where you wave at the car going the other way on a dirt road...

All that doom and gloom when you can't grow your own weed anymore bullshit has been going for the last 16 years since we voted in medical in 2000... You know what we're going do??? Keep growing just like we did the 20 to 30 years prior to that...

in my search for a property to buy and grow and live on...
avoiding hoa's was a BIG concern... to me it basically boiled down to allowing a group of other people to make decisions for me about what i could do on my own land and in my own home
kinda like local government, but for your neighborhood.
no thanks

i would say taht for the kind of undertaking you are talking about, mule, i would want to ALREADY KNOW the people i would be doing this with, they would have to be life long friends who i knew what they were about 100% and knew i could trust them 100%, and i don't think i know enough people like that to fill a subdivision....

sounds alot like what frank mcdonald wants to do in stoner colorado, haven't heard any updates on that in about a year..... need to take another trip down to the campground in stoner to see whats new

best of luck tho....

When you are describing a bunch of acre lots together with grows on them it makes me think of Trinity Pines by Hayfork Ca.
Not the same thing you are trying to do really, and not that great of a situation overall as far as water and population density.

Interesting though as far as what people can get away with, lots of plots close together

I'm not sure but I think the Stoner deal is dead. I know a guy that was working with them and have heard nothing about thr place for quite some time. I might ask about it again.

ABSOLUTELY NO POA/HOAs.
They ALWAYS end up in property owner conflicts & eventually disbanding.
People that like being told how to live might fall for them though.

I officially have an hoa for about 2 more weeks. Worst fucking thing I have ever experienced when it comes to home ownership. HOA's are fucking bullshit. Give me some land and leave me the fuck lone.

I've been thinking of buying a house for a couple of months now but we'll see how that pans out. An HOA would be a make it or break it factor for me.

I can't mow my own grass, paint my house a certain color, you need dues from me, I can't install solar panels, you don't like my landscaping? Get fucked.

You guys relize that home owners sit on HOA boards and vote what rules are enacted right? Majority rules, so wouldn't it make sense to move, live or buy where there are like minded folks. I wouldn't try to buy a home in cherry creak or highlands ranch for instance, why? The HOA would stomp my lifestyle into a puddle...

The part people seem to be missing is the freedom part. Freedom from a oppressive government. A HOA where your are on the board of directors is the least of our worries. A new world order is coming. proactive or reactive? Like I said peaceful hippies need not apply...
