You guys relize that home owners sit on HOA boards and vote what rules are enacted right? Majority rules, so wouldn't it make sense to move, live or buy where there are like minded folks. I wouldn't try to buy a home in cherry creak or highlands ranch for instance, why? The HOA would stomp my lifestyle into a puddle...

The part people seem to be missing is the freedom part. Freedom from a oppressive government. A HOA where your are on the board of directors is the least of our worries. A new world order is coming. proactive or reactive? Like I said peaceful hippies need not apply...

exactly my point
good luck finding enough "like minded individuals"... and even if you do, better hope they never majority up against you.
maybe my group of peeps is just irregularly small.... but like i said before, i can count on one hand ALL the people on earth right now that i could trust in a situation like the one you are describing

also, no chance in hell i'd join anything that had the requirement "peaceful hippies need not apply" - just sounds intolerant, the very thing we are all seeking to ESCAPE FROM.

all that being said;
best of luck

And on that note start storing seeds! Just in case, the Amish have a wonderful selection of heirloom seeds that you can grow and dry the seeds for planting for many years! I have a seed refrigerator that has all kinds of goodies!

Speaking of seeds I got a package with some gear from bodhi I received green lotus, dream beaver, orblanco then I got chunky pigs gorilla twin bx2 and for freebies I got glue breath S1 and top dog zero dark 30 and a shit load of stickers and one of those cool silicon containers!

I have a different order with 4 IC mag members seeds coming don't want to jinx it so I will report on that when and if it gets here...

I didn't have any glue or GSC forum cuts so I bought the cross's.

I made some crosses and pulled them down last week and let dry until crispy... The male I used was Agent orange, nice orange smell on the stem rub not a shit load of resin in flower but a little. I crossed him to three phenos of AO to make some F2s and a DJ blueberry, a blue dream, and a green crack. I will never pollinate a whole plant or 6 again...

Holy fuck talk about work! Got a shit load of good seeds and a shitload of tan/white immature seeds... I don't know if I didn't add enough calcium and phosphorus at the right times or the if I pollanated them to much I just threw the male in the tent and left it for a week... Or it could be the recycling of my soil.

Next crosses I plan to do things a little differently! Letting my seeds dry for a week or two then try to pop some to check my work hope they germinate! If not that was a shitload of work for nothing!

Off to run some bubble from the pile of clean weed... Holy fuck that was a lot of work...

Not intolerance man, but when shit hits the fan it's going to get ugly. I've seen the worst of people come out and I've seen people that buckle and fold under the pressure of that... When it counts the last thing I need is some peaceful vegan bowing his head and accepting his fate...

Trust is earned not given. I don't know if you've ever been locked up but the only thing you got is you. And you haft to let someone in to trust or you may never survive... Can't stay awake or watch your own back forever. When your life is reduced to the next day or next hour or next minute you'll be surprised how fast trust comes with a stranger with a few things in common... Thanks for the luck! We're all going to need it!

Live by the gun...
Die by the gun...

You choose your own fate...
If you want to perpetuate violence, violence will be a part of your life.

Let me ask you one thing.
What, exacyly, would you be protecting, when the shit hits the fan?

Personally, I think you've got it all wrong but I want to see what your idea is previous to giving my account of things to come.
I'll give you a clue though... a piece of land can't be easily moved.

Has anyone seen the government help? The feds and cops are here to kick your door in a take whatever they please. Steal your assets, throw your kids in foster homes, imprison you... Do you think its ok that weed is listed higher then meth, or anyone that grows is risking federal or state imprisonment? Step out of line and you could be next citizen.

Look at hurricane Katrina they rounded people up and locked them in the super dome where people were robbed, raped, murdered. Cops on the streets were shooting people in cold blood, looters were shooting cell tower repair men in order to keep the phones down. Prisoners in the county jail were rescued by a warden from the prison upstate after they were left to die as the water rose, some locked up for 3 days with no food but plenty of water up to their necks I've read...

I could go on with the inept responses or heavy handed shit our government has done and I'm not crazy enough to take on the feds ruby ridge, Waco etc... I'm Planning on living and breathing that's what I'm defending, with not being rounded up and put in some place for my own good.

We have about three days of food in the stores and when that's gone it's gone. The zombies you will be defending against will be your hungry starving fellow man...

How does it happen? Could be the new Madrid fault, or San Andrés for a earthquake, could be Yellowstone or mt Rainer for a volcano, might be a solar flare that takes out the grid. Maybe a nuke or terrorism on a huge scale maybe a asteroid slams into the earth.

Mark my words when and if "it" happens the government will be there to "help" maybe like Nola or internment camps. And your fellow man will be there looting and taking from or killing the weak. People are savage no matter what your own beliefs are. The will to survive it's programed into our dna...

Don't be crazy about it, just be ready, like carrying a umbrella for your life...

From the times call paper the proposed language...

Cut and pasted
Currently, Longmont residents are governed by state law, which allows Coloradans to grow up to six plants per resident over 21 in their homes for personal use. Marijuana use and cultivation is still illegal under federal law. But under Colorado law, plants must be kept in an enclosed, locked area that can't be viewed openly. Municipalities can pass stricter laws related to home grows if they choose.

The council generally approved of the direction staff proposed in the draft ordinance. The draft ordinance would prohibit grows:
• located anywhere other than a primary residence

• with more than six plants per residence

• outdoors

• not in a secure location or accessible to people under 21 years old

• using compressed flammable gas (butane)

• smells strongly enough that it is "detectable by a person with an ordinary sense of smell" from any adjoining property or public right-of-way

• does not follow the rest of Longmont's city codes

Councilwoman Polly Christensen was the only one of the six council members present (Councilman Brian Bagley was absent) who advocated for allowing residents to grow marijuana plants outside.

"It doesn't make sense to forbid them to grow outside when plants are meant to be grown outside. We would confine them to inside housing, which we desperately need," Christensen said.

After staff members explained, however, how municipal law must intersect with Colorado law and other concerns with outdoor marijuana plants, the other five council members did not take to Christensen's idea.

Police Officer Sara Aerne told council that, besides odor, outdoor marijuana plants also tend to pose security problems with theft.

"There are tons of questions with theft and constant calls from neighbors about someone growing pot plants over the fence," Aerne said in response to a question as to why the plants wouldn't be allowed in a greenhouse.

Additionally, Christensen had concerns about the provision of the draft ordinance that would allow Longmont inspectors to enter any home where a grow is operating "during reasonable hours" to make sure the grow complies with city code.

"If there was a 24-hour or 48-hour notice I feel people wouldn't mind as much," Christensen said. "I think it's just treating people with medical conditions or growing for their own use assuming they're criminals. It would be more respectful to give them notice."

Mayor Dennis Coombs said that he thought giving someone notice could cause them to hide excess plants or other violations. In general, the council didn't reach consensus around changing the draft-ordinance language to provide more notice.

Under the draft, a violation would be an administrative penalty. Council did, however, reach a consensus for higher penalty fees.

"I like administrative penalties but I would suggest though they need to be higher than the potential value of the product that's being produced so there's a reason for them to not want to violate our code," Councilman Jeff Moore said. "So $100 is not adequate. Six (plants) could be, I don't know, $1,000 worth of product?"

Assistant City Attorney Teresa Taylor Tate clarified that Longmont is allowed to fine people no more than $999 per violation. Councilman Gabe Santos asked that there be a stiffer punishment — perhaps a criminal violation — for repeat offenders. The council reached a consensus on that point.

They also reached a consensus on asking for clarification on the odor piece of the proposed ordinance.

Assistant City Manager Shawn Lewis said that when staff brings the ordinance back for first reading on Sept. 27, they will provide the council with some alternate language because there are machines that can measure odor.

Lots of ignorance on that council.

If it takes a machine to 'smell' the odor, it doesn't count. Assholes.

Some thoughts for Tuesday...
1. Don't admit to doing things that are currently illegal.
ie - growing outside.
keep in mind WHAT are legal medical conditions.
for instance autism and PTSD are not. We can't grow
for others with those conditions.
2. DO bring patients, kids, etc who would be affected by this!
3. DO bring ANYONE who is just willing to come and wear a green
shirt and stand up. ANYONE. You don't need to give your name
or sign a list to wear green and come.

Mule420...You OBVIOUSLY have never met me. I will walk into your HOA meeting and that will be the end of it's Existence...One way or another...if it is dumb enough to try to regulate me. I am not above bringing a couple Sergei's favorite cocktails to enlighten the gathering to my stead fast resolve. My Neighbors know this VERY well...I clean their walks from the snow, i spray down the weeds in the alley, And i have burned out complete punk ass wanna-be gang-bangers with my neighbors begging me to do something. Every-one around knows this...Most sleep better because of it.
I am fighting the local city council (and the pigs they use) over a BULL-SHIT law in Pueblo banning Greenhouses. I have been pissing on them every chance i get trying to force the issue. They are too afraid too come to my house...The years of loosing have taught them something i guess, they are tired of loosing to me. I will actually submit part of this web site as my evidence of being Grandfathered in. City council completely tried to circumvent that part of the State Constitution...Everybody keeps calling me asking me what i am doing...constantly chewing on their pant-legs and pissing on their ankles...That is probably the best description of what i am currently doing. I want them to push this law so i can kick their asses with it.
So hippie shit??? You haven't met a true old school biker yet from what you have said. That makes me ask you nicely to change your avatar...you can't match it.
That is just who i am. I live to fight till one of the fights lays me in a grave.
BTW Please vote yes to change the petitioning laws...It will SERIOUSLY hamper most attempts at attacking A64.
How many people can you name that are willing to declare a limited war on the local blue mafia?

Trust me, there are some trying to attach amendments to Colorado's constitution that will partly nullify A64...You want to stop them.

BTW i maintain a medical license just so i can sue Pueblo for violating HIPA laws(they say we have to register with them...not me, EVER).That should be worth about 5-10mil...Enough to bankrupt them unless they re-write in a manner more to my liking. That is what my fight is all about.

Well that sux rocks! But they made the same mistake as Pueblo. They can not regulate a prescription under federal law. To restrict a patient is to endanger their life. Now you see why i keep scraping the bottom of the barrel to find enough to keep my medical license every year...That is the rule they can't squash...despite A LOT of attempts.
HA HA HA, my pissing and moaning is getting a couple of the POS bike lines removed... All you little POS need to know...I drive 500+HP monsters in this town...No-body has questioned me flattening a couple bi-cyclists before... This is Pueblo. Go back to home if you want to change things...We will kill you if you push too far. That is what the CIA alluded to in the early 2000s...we are stead fast.
