In other news, budtenders are some damn annoying individuals.

Don't you like walking in a shop, and having someone half your age try and tell you what you want.
I used to tell them I want their best..... they'd tell me
Sir that's nighttime medication lol.
Guess I'm a rebel I smoke the night meds in the day

I like to fuck with them.

Bud tender: "How long will this last you?"

Me: "Oh... The time it takes me to get to the post office I guess..."

Congrats on the win Smurf! :tiphat:
Ty, first real cup I ever actually entered, you guys know me as a loudmouth, but due to my conditions, events normally aren't my thing, so my product rarely if ever gets in front of judges. I decided it was time for that to end, partnered up with a master concentrate maker, and took it home on the first shot.

Only other time people saw my stuff was occasionally seen was at P.O.T.U.S. and the Green of Gold Event, the slab going around back then was a dark shattery and extremely terpy slab called Smurphberry Explosion, and that was a year or more ago, which shows you how often I get out for these things, just research, work, research, work, scrap failed research, extra work, repeat for the last 14 years this July, add in patient outreach and you have a hermit who lives in the middle of a major city and has for 10 years.

Congrats Smurph!

Does there happen to be any publications on it?
Videos all over facebook, look for Colorado Best Concentrates under events, currently the shatter win is being discussed, they seemingly were going to give the shatter award to a CO2 made terpene laced sap, which would be unkosher.

Take a look a Murray McMurray Hatchery. They sell some rare/special chicks. IIRC, they do carry a strain that Dr Whiting developed. :big grin: http://mcmurrayhatchery.com

Saddles for less than $20. That'd probably work. Some of the Silkies have some finer/longer hackles. Barred Rocks, or Plymouth Rocks? But, it sounds like you have a lot on your plate already.

I am considering a few of a heavier breed, for the eggs. Sooooo much better. They are better eating too.

edit; Here you go. https://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/fly_tyer_special.html

$20 Saddles...Wow! I have a Cree Genetic that is mostly #16-18s that i said no to $200...

My brothers wiped my computer and i am slowly rebuilding it...What i wouldn't give to get my hands on a hacker??? If no-body misses him soon it could be quite entertaining for a few days...Then off to the haunted house exhibit with what is left.

But i did see this and knew i was out of my mind. https://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/grey_peacock_pheasant.html $540 Plus shipping, if they happen to be available...I don't think i should raise birds. My Great aunt offered me my choice of any of the Macaws and Parrots she use to breed... The catch was i had to promise to quitt smoking because it is VERY hard on birds...they breathe through their bones.

I just got a 25 LBS Tonkinese for my birthday last month... Birds are not a good idea.

On a happy note. Turns out that the GARLIC tea i made is chasing the grasshoppers off. I thought it was nuts but only took a little time. I used a 1/4 cup of minced garlic boiled hard in a couple of quarts of water(add a few drops of dish soap to emulsify). Filter and let cool (not the other way around or you will loose the oils you need). I added to my Azamax spray for a gallon...The Hoppers hate it...I am glad. Hope the lil Bastards Burn in Hell.

Sad note to add...this seems to only last about 3-4 days. Not sure i should be spraying that often heading into bud???

I use to use this in my yard in Arkansas. It's not cheap, but its convenient.

It helped with the skeeters a lot. I would spray it once per week. The grasshoppers gave two fucks about it though. :)

Can you go into any more detail about the garlic spray? Where did you find out about making it? Can you make a bunch of the solution and store it for a week or two at a time so you don't have to make it fresh each time? I'm wondering if this will be effective just with the garlic too instead of adding neem/azamax. I applied a bunch of predator mites and don't want to kill them off with neem or essential oils. Is there any risk of burning your plants with this spray? What are different application ratios?

I've had some limited success with making grasshopper traps using apple cider vinegar and canola oil in gallon ziploc bags. I pinned them around my plants to the support cage or set them on the ground. The best trap I noticed is sitting in a slight hole on the backside of a cage where the grasshoppers can simply walk in and fall into it instead of having to climb up to it to fall in. I think they are attracted to the cider smell and then they fall in and drown. Somebody on IG recommended this to me and said that that is what their grandfather back in Kentucky did for his cabbage patch. You can also use tupperware containers or something like that.
