Jay Hood just came by my grow, and was so impressed by the flowers he started doing snaps and videos, Lil Flip said my weed looks dank :)

Being a strain whore has its advantages. Jay is an award winning concentrate artisan, people line up to have their materials blasted by him, taking him through my garden made him grin the entire time, "oh wait, smell this!" He said my ECSD was the best he'd seen in years, same with my Blueberry, and get this, told him to smell a plant and tell me what it was, he said, "not sure, but it's fire!" told him it was Blue Dream, THE Blue Dream, not the knockoff that the Russian cartels grew to death, it shocked him.

If you're attending the Colorado Best Concentrates private party you might get a sample of our collaboration entry, Alien Berry, a combination of Tahoe Alien, East Coast Sour D, and an indica dominant version of DJ short's original Blueberry.

We're also in at the connoisseur's cup, but they only asked for a 4 gram entry for judges, so probably no samples there.

However, at the CBC event, we will be giving away some high CBD clones to raffle winners and veterans :)

Still need to check out one of these local cups myself..... I'm a fckn hermit I guess. Sounds good smurph, good luck!
I'm a hermit. Half the state has smoked my product without knowing it. Unfortunately people with money don't fund unknowns, so its time to put Corey B. Fluffkin (Green Man Cannabis) in his place, the garbage.

I am SSOOOO Glad to see you back SeaFour. I need help. Hoppers killin everthing this year. I doubt I will have a crop at this rate. Still pushin extra light for late croppin...But I have to flip them sometime and the hoppers seem to have beaten back hard for good limbs to give colas. PLEASE Tell me there is a cheep way to obliterate the hoppers...w/o hurting the plants.

Been away, and probably won't be on here a whole lot due to trying to pack and move.
Glad to see seafour back in the mix. Can't wait to move to the mountains.

Packing sucks, but having a permanent spot will be wonderful. :)

If things get much worse I'll probably try that hot pepper spray I mentioned earlier. Can you post any updates as you have them regarding what is working out for you? I think it's just you and I in here on this thread with any front range and/or southern colorado outdoor.

I just read a post on IG about the grasshopper issue over there. Maybe you could get a better response for grasshopper IPM there.

Don't wait on the pepper spray either.
It will work or it won't... no time like right now to find out.
The sooner ya know...
The better your grow.

Nosema locustae, a naturally occurring single celled protozoan infects all stages of developing grasshoppers, mole crickets, Mormon and black field crickets. Nosema when ingested creates a disease that is specific to these pests. It will not harm any other living species.

After eating Nosema locustae spores grasshoppers become sick, eat less, and begin to die. The disease spreads to healthy grasshoppers through cannibalism. In 2-4 weeks, 50% of the population will die, and most survivors will be infected to continue spreading the disease. Infected survivors eat 75% less than healthy grasshoppers and lay fewer eggs.

The down side to that is you have to use it really heavy early in the season for it to be effective. I tried it 2 years in a row, and then switched to heavy doses of spinosad, and heavy doses of orange oil. They were more effective than the above stated.

Centennial Seeds

Finally got my lazy ass out to Centennial Seeds today and picked up some Dakini Kush and BaOx seeds. Was looking for something that was high CBD leaning with moderate THC to make into RSO (hence the BaOx), and my gf talked me into the Dakini Kush since she only likes Indicas. After hearing Avinish Miles talk about it, and chatting with Ben a bit, it seemed like a pretty nice strain to try out. He's a pretty cool cat, really smart and friendly. Pretty nice operation he's got going up there.

Yeh, Ben is a different experience, a whole different take on cannabis & legalization. He def knows what he's doing & I wish him the best with it. I came away with his rio negro colombian, probably start in with it when the current batch finishes in a month or so. Kinda nostalgic about it, really.

Evergreen/conifer area

Nice area up there. Close enough to Denver and front range that it's not a hike to get down there but tucked away enough to be away from it all. I used to do work in that area several years ago. Pine Junction, Bailey, Guffey, Evergreen, Conifer, Fraser.

I used it once several weeks back and I don't know if it did anything. I just got another bag today and spread the whole thing around the greenhouse and 3 outdoor girls as well as problem areas where I've seen a lot of them. I tried spraying the plants with Spinosad as well. I think that I will rotate that into the IPM program.

7 day countdown has started for me.

Moving could be one of the worst things ever.
