what is the story with BaOx?

I'll try to post up some pics of my dakini kush... smells very unique, not like other kush's bubba / ogk, but very earthy and dank

glad u found this new co growers thread, c4

It's ridiculous, imo.
But...
It is what it is...

I was reluctant to start an account but it nettet me some much desired info as well as a few views of the world I'd never seen.

BaOx looks like it might be a nice strain for making RSO. Hindu Kush X Otto II I think. He mentioned it's tested as high as 11% CBD and some of his plants have been 50/50 CBD/THC. I think the Hindu Kush part will make it a nice mild bedtime snack and the high CBD can't hurt either. Once I start it I'll do a grow log again in the organic soil section. Would love to see some Dakini Kush pics, he described the smell the same way.

The truth is that I spent about 6 years studying medical technology (I was also running a custom car shop at the same time so I had to go slow). I was offered a full boat ride to OSU (Oregon) to study genetics and was forced to decline the offer. (I regretted it from the day I said it and haven't stopped)
I have some understanding of advanced chemistry, minimal physics, and have lost most of my math knowledge.
So I am putting this picture out to beg for discussion on it. I am not sure of what these lab results truly mean. I would love to have a discussion about these results that might pick them apart till we see some new insight.
I cut this PCK about 6 weeks after it showed 50% amber (about mid Sept) when I trimmed it on Nov 5th 2016. I don't understand how these numbers came from such a very late harvest??? This is why I am hoping for a discussion about other similar experiences. That image isn't working and I can't make sense of what the url is supposed to be. Is there any way you can pull it up on your computer, take a screenshot, and then crop that photo and upload it on here like you would with another one?

Unfortunately my computer got hacked while searching a cat rescue site back in April. My brothers Gerry rigged it to surf but I can't download or upload images w/o getting a screen that says I have to pay bitcoins to unlock it. They are waiting untill they are both off to wipe my hard drive and reload everything. But I did find a new Tonk that I got for my Birthday last month...6 hours in and he tried to bite through my wrist...Now he is a lovable GIANT baby.

screw it...the image didn't have the numbers anyway.
Cannabidiol = 12.9%
Cannibinol = 5.1%
Delta 9-THC = 10.3%
Thc- A = 22.85%
How can these numbers be possible when I cut it a full 7-8 weeks late, WELL after amber trichs???

And here is where I am reaching out to a facebook group on the hopper issue;

I need HELP! The Grasshoppers are completely running me out. I set all my plants with lots of boric acid and diatomatious earth back around June 1st. Fighting ants and the scale they farm on my plants. I set 2 sprayings of 3 types of nematodes in Late May. I started Nolo-bait around June 17th and have sprayed Azamax twice. I have also tried peppermint and clove oil...the hoppers seem to think of it as salad dressing. I dusted with Cayenne Pepper and am trying to find a way to emulsify it for better spraying. I see lots of dead hoppers around my yard...but there are 20x as many living...They even stripped my miniature Mums...They extract pesticides from mums. This is bad.

So I've attached a picture of a cutting I recently took. I have cloned the same way since forever. I use rapid rooters with a tray and dome. I soak the rooters in plain water and then load them in the tray with cuttings. I keep the vents closed on the dome for a couple of days and then open them.

In Arkansas I did this exact same thing and within 12-18 days I had all of the clones I needed. Here in Colorado the same technique may produce the attached picture after about 5-7 days.

Last time I took cuttings I had 100% success rate and had all of the clones I needed in about 14 days. This time about 7 days in and 15% of the clones have had this happen.

I have just bought brand new trays, domes, rooters, and scissors so I am ruling out anything like that. I assumed it was some sort of "damping off" possibly?

If that is what it is it will confuse me even more as it is dry as fuck here, and in Arkansas I had 80%-90% humidity in the air. The last few times I have cloned it hasn't really happened so I thought it was not going to be a problem. Then "boom", it's back! :)

Any info would be great as I would like to know what direction to move with cloning. It's funny how something can work 100% every time in one place, but only some of the time in another place.

It looks like you are directly spraying the clones? Do you have the humidity dome on a heating mat? Don't spray the clones directly. Instead spray the inside of the dome itself if you need to up the humidity and I have a little bit of standing water in the bottom of the tray in order to keep the humidity up. I also don't use the heating mat except for in the winter.

I am using a heating mat, and I was spraying clones, but recently stopped. I also have some water in the tray.

I will try without the heating mat. Everyday I will remove the dome for about 15 minutes to let the clones dry out, but that doesn't seem to matter.

You'll definitely be doing better with no heating mat that now it's summer time. I would also suggest never spraying the clones directly. Instead continue to do like you mentioned where the vents are shut for several days, then maybe half of one vent opened for a day or two, then all the way open for a day or two. You shouldn't have to ever water the cubes as they will be drying out as roots are showing and growing out. One thing I noticed is to rehydrate the cube itself by running some water over it or dunking it gently prior to putting it in soil. I lost a clone once or twice from the cube being too dry when planted in soil, never again. I've also had similar problems in the past with the same rotten thing that you have a picture of. I haven't had that anymore or very seldom if ever anymore. Less is more when getting cuts to root. I'm by no means an expert, I struggled with making clones for the longest time. The best you can do is set it and forget it and don't even bother checking for roots for at least 7-10 days with this method.

I will try to use as little water as possible. In arkansas I would top off the tray everyday with water, and spray the clones twice a day, and never once did I see this.

How much water do you keep in the tray, and do you ever remove the dome to let the cuttings air out?

I have standing water in there but not a crazy amount. Those little ridges on the bottom of the tray aren't covered or anything. I never directly spray the clones and I am backing away from even spraying the inside of the dome. I only do that if I need to turbo charge the humidity in there if say I was lucky enough to score some cuts not from Colorado and they aren't used to the very low humidity (ifyah knowmsayin'?) I don't leave the top of the dome off intentionally aside from checking cubes after being in the dome for at least a week. I would think it more important to harden them off with increasingly opening the vents like I mentioned earlier.

Well , it looks like everyone is as confused as I am by results. But please try a GUESS at what caused this aberration. I honestly don't know and refuse to claim anything from this because I am so confused. Any guesses at all???
