Lotus thats a 'horntail' (Urocerus gigas) they use that long horn to lay eggs in dead trees with, but as far as I recall they can sting like a normal whasp.
It's only the female that got that huge horn too, the male is equipt with something a little bigget then a normal wasp nothing more.
I got some pic's from last summer, Was on a tree climbing trip to Viborg in the state Denmark. Really nice forests they got up there!
The camp
I found a huge feild of old ass oak trees, this one was knocked over and it got a super nice effect with the trees in the background.
