hehe Tripco, nice translating, but unfortunetly wrong i think... :(

muchomor czerwony

much(a) - yes ist's fly :p
mor(derca) - killer
czerwony - red
was it what You was thinking?

Maybye Your translating is linage of name of this shroom? Who knows :p....
muchomor means poisonus shroom, there are many shrooms with 'muchomor' in their names.

Well, i thought that "mor" suffix is similar like in serbian. Example: Muhomor in serbian would be a "medium (or a device) for killing flyies". Our name for that shroom is "crvena muhara"

B/saurus, that shroom looks exactly like an realistic illustration for 'Alice in Wonderland'. What a trippy book it is :joint: .
This pic is like one year old. That spider was a livin' insecticide that used to protect my Washingtonia filifera palm from any kind of bug. Unfortunately, i had no livin' fungicide, so she died this spring from fungus (too much exposure to low temps. and moisture, i think)

I went over to a buddy's hayfield this evening for a bonfire. Parked my truck by the fire and had one window cracked one window open. After the fire and what not, i drove back home, and as i was going to roll up the passenger side window, there was a fully spun circular web to the right of the passenger seat with a spider, looking similar to the one above, right in the center of the web. These guys are quick! I was only there a couple hours! They sure get busy at night.

Yes, they are Pipeline, they're realy quick. I saw 'em more than once, makin' complete web within a half an hour or even less. Common name for 'em around here is "Crusader spider" , 'cos they got this cross sign on their back (and they're very invasive too). There's a few more similar species with more pronounced cross.

Thanks. Check out this wild pony, I can't remember if I posted it before. I seem to have a way of getting animals to let me in their space, ya know?

Really great shots NKOTS and POMH. Thats really close for a deer! They're spooked so easily usually. I have some Argiope shots from this morning. Just a min....

Thanx bong. Do Grouse fly? It looks like it could fly, but if it let you follow for 10 min who knows. Bird brain.

I posted this in the other nature thread also. I have always been able to get close to animals, they seem to let me into their space a bit.
Butterflies tend to land on me and birds at my old house would sit on the porch with me. Funny

This is a wild horse
