happy i really hope so, it's the 16th day so...things should stop anytime now, and this time it's indica only so...i really am not worriing much anymore
you've got some nice plants in ur gallery, can tell that you love the time u spend with them
i was off for a week or so, and my friend took care off my girls and he did a good job!
they are a bit underfed but i'm gonna give em some PK13-14 now and it should fix the top yellowing
pH 5.5
EC 1.15
looking good .looks good from here too
mango canopy..BMR canopy...
good job BOG and Sunshine
let's see some more Mango....yum,yum...
some closeups of both strains,
Mango..and BMR..
well i'm pretty pleased for now, the canopy is pretty much even overall, with some slight deviance....but what is more important is the taste and the highs that both these strains contain
hello happy and others that follow my thread
i'm pretty pleased with this grow, since i was away in the most critical times, i just got back from the seaside again and this is what i found in my closet
i couldn't say that the yellowing is from the lack of Mg, it was probably just locked out since the pH was a little high and Mango needs a lot of Mg
on the other hand Blue Moon Rocks isn't affected and is still nice and green
parameters:
pH 6.5 --> added RO water + some pH -
EC 1.77 jumped from 1.72, added pure water today
W.temps: ~ 24°C
room temps: ~27°C
...if someone can confirm my theory or suggest something else i'll be glad to read it, i tried to fix the problem before i went away again but time was running short so..i don't think i can do much in the next 2 weeks, PLEASE CORRECT ME if i'm wrong
here are a few pics of the buds itself
Mangoand BMR
it's gonna burn soon baby! BMR is just sweet!awsome fruity smell
i've been microwaving them buds, and i've had some wicked dreams for the past 2 days, very long trippy dreams, it's been a while since i smoked Mango and BMR togheter, never did actually still am stoned from yesterday, haven't even baked my morning joint today
as i started this grow i wanted max yeild and quality...well i was away in the critical times so the yeild part is not as good, though the quality lifts our spirit up
so let us begin, well i had an early lil harvest on monday, but this is the main part
an overall photos
let's have a look at some specimens, there were about 25 colas, variing from 10-35 cm
the smallestand bigGER the BIGGEST
Let's have some more, i took a lot of pics this time
Mangoooooo
Blue MoonRocks
and a nice closeup of BMR#3(indica short and squat)
Root porn is appropriate at this moment i think flash ruins the colors, so let's have some true color here!
..this rope was made by the plant itself, the roots grow spiraly into the pumps intake and were constantly cut by the propeller. The dark region at the bottom are lava rocks that were overgrown by the roots
Plants make art too!
all that was left is...a bag'o ROOTS
and about 200g of dry bud, don't know exactly yet, ~840g wet
what up scegy
congratulations on another harvest. im still popn my head to see how things are going over this way. By the looks of the roootball on the other page this round should be the Prize.
hey happy, nice to see ya again
well you know, it's all about timing, we'll c, will try my best
i took another look at your thread and u'r kicking some serious ass with those ladies there, really am wondering "what if " i buy myself a 600W fixture, gotta change my ballast and bulb soon, so...hmmm
can u tell me is there a big difference in heat emmision of a 400W and a 600W bulb? please tell me, else i'll pm you
Hey scegy i have a 400 MH and a 600 HPS and there dosnt seem to be to much heat difference between the two but ithink my hoods do a good job of dissipating the heat out the side of the hood (adustawing hoods) and my big ass 8 inch fan just clears the heat as it floats out and upwards of the hood.
i dont know if that helps (doh hahahaha) but ill feel them out better next time. I waill say that the light is much more intense under hte 600 and i really didnt think i could grow that big o buds with a 600 so im very happy with it. Its also reusable with a largwer scale grow if i wanted to go bigger. i dont think i would use a 400 in a big grow, whos to say.
hi scegy. im amazed you dont have more people posting about how good they are looking.
thats whats I call root pron man! very nice dude...
maybe something to help you with you stretching probs though.
i just recently found out that before you change your lights to 12/12, you should leave the lights OFF for a 36 hour period. this tells the plants they are in flower now, and limits her last week of stretch... while instead putting the effort into creating bud sites.
i will admit, ive never tried this yet on my own grows, but i plan on doing it everytime from here on out. i dont have a small room like you, so stretching isnt my problem. but im all for telling my girls they are in flower instead of veg as soon as i can!
usually i sign off wishing people good luck. but you dont need luck, you have it down... time to smoke ya rewards for the hard work.
hey again happy,
you see every time i think on buying myself a new ballast aka 600w one, i think again and say to myself...wait untill LED fictures get cheaper...i'm amazed with what the right light spectrum can do, LED's rock, i've seen amazing grows with so much less power than what we'r using,
you'r right, without hoods, life can be a bitch in closets, i just hate that i have such a small place, would love to have a bigger playground, it's far more forgiving than these tight closets that's why i'm so doubtfull off buying more W ----> tried to achive 800g on a 1m2 place with two 400s, came close to 0.6 g/w, had constant heat issues and so on, as for now, i'm easily achieving those 0.6g/w with more controlable enviroment, but still my budsites are very limited that's a bitch....anyway i'm babbling
what i'm trying to say is, if i get a good deal on a 600W's i'll buy one!
nzjay: thanks for stopping by!
i think i tried something like what u proposed, didn't see a big change, what i figured out was that the lack of nitrogen helps to induce flowering, so this time i had no problems because i switched the nutes in the right time --> you change the ratio of NPK, less N, slightly more P and K aka bloom nutes
+
a strong fan always blowing over the canopy, keeps them busy building on reenforcing stems rather then just going upwards
was incouraged to try this because i also read and learned about this in school recently and it does work for me
thank you both for your visiting again and for your help!
ok the final weight was around 250g dry if i count the buds that were cut before the both harvests so that's ~0,6g/w
what i like about this result is that it still shows constant progress and consistancy in quantity and quality, and that is my goal
the new plot is doing fine, i like to say, as expected
this is the first time i haven't even washed the system before a new run, just changed the stored veg solution for the bloom one that was in as said in the previous post
they'r on 12/12 now for 3 days still on the veg solution, gonna change that to 3/4 bloom in a few days pH 5.5 / EC 1.41
water temp: 22-23°C
i'm using only tap water and some homebrand nutrients(very cheap) + cannazym at the start to clean the crap left from the last grow, let's see how they work togheter
these are photos taken in 2-3 days period
First round photoshoot 15.9.
pH: 5.6 / EC 1.17
Second 17.9.
pH:5.6 /1.16
Last and the latest 21.9.
pH 5.5 / EC 1.41
water temp: 22-23°C
Blue Moon and Mango, Rock togheter
i figured that there's no need for them, the roots fix themselves in the net cups, have no problems with that, the plants are LST-ed, that's why they might look like they need some help
look
this is how we do it
thanks for stopping by man!
p.s. they'r getting a screen over them soon for aditional support
