time for update!

time for update!

:woohoo: the end is near! 3-4 weeks and me and my babies are done!

so here they are, [email protected] pH 5.7

i present you, Dreamweaver #2
phenotype: lots of meaty hairs, less foliage in flower, medium high crystalisation, not a strong smeller - gentle deep chocolate if you know what i mean, and the last one and my favorite one, it's starting to show pink-purple hairs!!!
as for the whole plant; it's a very vigouros plant, with 2.5× stretch, big fan leaves and strong support for heavy buds to come. it's a little bit more delicate for growing then DW but still close enough to be able to compete!

this is one of the topped DW buds(because of the height issue)

Blue Moon Rocks #3
phenotype: 1:1 hair to foliage ratio, very high crystalisation, strong sweet fruity aroma
plant; VERY vigouros plant, short and squat would be the apropriate expression. A plant that grows well even if you negolect it, and i bet it's a good couch-lock!

all togheter packed in my box:)

started using flash updates:D

started using flash updates:D

well since i always shake i started using flash on my camera
girls are now on their 3,5th weekend of flowering 4,5 on 12/12
EC 1.56
pH: 6.0

overall look

,

what's happening under the foliage?

,

BMR #1 has 1:1 foliage:calyx ratio, more like Mothers Finest, BMR #3 is the best pheno so far with its 2:1 ratio wich gives me hard bud chunks, DW #2 is more concentrated on producing resin(spice-bud)

these pics are BMR#1

,

,

BMR #3 looks very promising...

tell me what you think for 24 days in flower?
i added boron and the plants seem to not-rejecting it for now, we'll see what happens next on that subject.

this is my clone/mother room

fighting some thrips right now but no biggie!

good day!

p.s.
i'm sure u'r gonna love the root porn on the end, keeping it a secret for now hehe :sasmokin:

hello!
i said i added boron to my mix this time, and i don't know, is it the canna aqua, my new system, new strains or boron but the buds have grown and became unusually rock hard in a few days for this stage since i added boron?
sprotuco any comment on that?
i haven't even added PK and they allready look like on steroids, hmm i can't really say but very unusual, the buds usually became this hard at least 2-3weeks from now.

would love to read a comment about this and some experiences

boron no-go!

boron no-go!

well after a week on boron they've showed me nothing but burning because of it, it raises ph VERY much it's hot as hell, i don't think i'll be using it anymore, the plant's don't seem to bleed for it, so i see no reason for it as it is already in the micro elements of my fertilisers.
but i will try next time again but with 1/5 of what i used this time IF i see some def. that could be similar to boron. i said that i noticed "hardening" of the buds, but it was just placebo, as the days passed i noticed that i was wrong and the plants were going sick...after a week of feeding them nothing but ro water and some PK they got better and started growing again after 3 days of delay.

p.s.
about the placebo effect....i don't deny that a very small amount of boron is highly benificial for the plant...but the question is how much is that and if the nutes themselves contain enough of it, you burn the plants like i did....so sproutco...i think your tests are not accurate, you had no control unit and no spectrum of boron usage...so i say this subject is not over but to reccomend something like this is NO GOOD :moon:
no offence sproutco, just isn't good enough ;)

my conclusion, never use boron or any kind off shit if u'r not sure if it's needed. i had the best, the greasiest and the biggest yields when i used LOW EC's with a touch of MgO at some stronger plants-as for hydro.

so here they are, look at the difference from a week ago...burned them quite good, and the ph was way off for 2 days as i was away ....
but still my lounges are going to be pleased;)

boron burning the crap out of her....

today

blue moon rocks 3 ....pretty nice, she's got the right name, blue moon ROCKS

bmr #1....i think that this one is going in to my "top 10" quite soon with bmr#3 in front
i can't say that for dw #2 as it very sativish(very tall) and it doesn't do good for my low-height issue...i bet she'll do better outdoor ;)

stem 'le dw#2 and bmr#1 in the back

that's it for this week, enjoy the sun :) :joint:

Dreamweaver selection grow

Dreamweaver selection grow

hello

since my latest grow will be chopped in the next 2 weeks i've started preparations for the next grow, i've decieded to make a selection from my dreamveaver collection. since i've got some courage from success of previous selections i'll go the same path this time too :chin:

so let's see our contestants(dw2 is already in this grow):
here they are, variing from mostly INDICA to half/half hybrids

INDICA --> SATIVA
DW3 - DW1 - DW8 - DW2 - DW7

DW3
doesn't have much foliage at all,
wide indica leaves,
medium strong plant(moderate in growing)

DW1
pretty leafy with short internodes,
wide indica leaves,
weak plant(expert in growing)
very short

DW8
doesn't have much foliage at all,
medium wide indica leaves,
medium strong plant(moderate in growing-close to dw3 but more on sativa side),

DW2-according to the harvest of dw2
less foliage, lots of internodes,
ind/sat - 40/60 leaves,
medium strong plant(moderate in growing)

just before the harvest, looks very similar to dutchpassion's pics...

DW7
lots of foliage and lots of internodes,
ind/sat - 60/40 leaves,
strong plant(easy in growing)

conclusion:
(since i run 1 bucket dwc i have to have similar growth of phenos if i have more then one plant)

best ind/sat phenos that would go togheter

dw2+dw7
according to DW2(in vegetative stage) i'd pick DW7, because they'r pretty close on the outside and i bet the'd do good togheter in the dwc

best mostly indica

either dw3 + dw8 - best combination
or dw1 + dw8, although dw1 would do best on it's own cos it's a delicate flower:D

feel free to comment, i'm gonna chop some clones now ;)

OUR last week!

OUR last week!

ok fellas, this is our last week, i've prepared new set of clones to go in and i'm gonna chop this shitty overstretched crop in the middle of the next week.

so here they are, burned from boron and a touch of HPS helped too;)
well i can't say i'm sattisfied but i'll have a decent smoke anyway, but for a first run in a new system with all my fuck-ups, i'll say OK.

BMR 3, very nice hard greasy bud(but i fucked up)

blue moon rocks 1

and finally the unforgiving dreamweaver 2

well, conclusion, this system rocks! but this time i will have more ROOT porn to show then Bud porn :D

good day :D

p.s.
DISCLAMER
never gonna play with BORON again!!

Harvest day!

Harvest day!

girls finished at 60/40 milk/amber trichs, so i bet it will be quite a smoke!

chopped laying on my floor 850g of fresh bud ~ 220 g dry..0,55 g/W...on 400W HPS...well my almost best one so far, had two 400W ones before and it gave me ~360g on average...0.45 g/W HAHA i'm moving up! :lurk:

something missing here?

ohhh here it is!!!

woow, wait wait what was that?
this....

BMR no.3

bmr no.1

on what has that grown? hmm...

statue of mother nature!

Nice job!

Let us know how it smokes, when the time comes.

What strains do you have lined up for your next run? And no more Borax, right?

hey you guys

well i could be happier, i can't deny that
but in general my test smokes were pretty decent, even dw2 that was burned the most got my legs immobilized, i bet it's a good plant if you grow it well-not like me
will write a full report when things are dry enough ;)

see ya!

new age!

new age!

clown thank you, from your fingers to your karma ;)

well i've learned a lot from this grow, these are best of :)

- don't use boron if you use any kind of nutes with macro elements already added, it should be enough if you got nutes for tomatoes for instance,

-should trust my instincts as in pheno differences and not put strong and a week pheno togheter in one grow medium if i see their differences in vegetative state,

-use of lower ECs in all stages is definetly benificial, BETTER a little LESS then a little TOO MUCH, confirms itself every grow i made,

-systems with a lot of any kind of high FLOW will give the best results as a result of higher DO ranges, fast river doesn't stink!

- this one is my best one, cos i fuck up almost everytime - don't let them VEG too long if you have height issues, it's a f.. weed! gotta write that down on my forehead!

-letting ur solution sit for a couple of weeks before you use it and saturate it while you wait, will make the transplanting shock fade away,
i firmly believe that giving time to our little friends that we cannot see with our bare eye enables them to develop and help our plant's roots to suck up the right juices, that's why i decieded to add LAVA ROCKS to my system this time as it has million of good places for the little buggers to live

so let us look what i did and what will grow my girls...

grow bio-DWC bucket

feed line with filter

return line and mixing line with a pump

it's gonna be a bright, brightt sunshinny day!

will insert plants when roots > 0.2 mm
end;

be good my diary

Fresh starts..i love em!

Fresh starts..i love em!

:lurk:

so, this time i decieded to grow just one strain one pheno, mostly because one pheno was faster in rooting then others' so he's the winner :)
..and the winner is...Dreamweaver 8

here they are, after their first day(17.1.), need no humidity domes whatsoever even if the RH shows me around 30-40%, and one root popped over the night, let us see...

funny little creatures

my 4 girls, pretty synchronized

that's it for today, we'll c more changes in the next week, can't wait!
good day!

yes, i'll be LST-ing again with net above, i love bigger plants due to higher resistance to everything, SOG is just too much work for this much bud :) i did the same the last grow and it was full, too full, that's why i moved them more apart this time.
