parameters:

ph 6.18
EC 1.53

let's have a look at the girls, if i compare this stage to the same from the last grow i think the nuggets are bigger, and most of all, the plants have stretched more, i think it's perfect for a 400W light(30-35cm of canopy height should give at least 45 cm on the end of the flower, yeey :)

28.9. 3.10.
10.10.

the same bud 7 days later...

if i was a cow, i'd eat them all!!!

damn dude your system has really improved since your other threads, they are lookin great now. This run is lookin like the best so far!!

If you dont mind me asking, how much did those lava rocks help out with your drain in the bottom? I'm buiding a recirculating DWC bucket system and am really worried about the bottom drains getting clogged.

hi Meow, i hope scegy doesnt mind me posting these pics, but if you are running a recirc DWC (like me) try and get these inner fitting screens.

ill never worry about lava rock getting stuck in my lines.. and flooding my buckets!

Scegy: looking awesome man! check out that bud growth after a week!
smoking a 4:20 in your name!

those are like the ebb/flo table fittings right? I was thinking about just using a piece of pvc pipe going the whole way through the bucket(sealed on both sides) with a bunch of small holes all around it. I was thinking about dumping like 2-3 inches of lava in the bottom to cover up the pvc pipe in the bottom for an extra "root filter"

Have you ever had any clogs with those fitting? And any idea where I could pick them up?

hihghhhh maaann ehehe :D
i love questions, don't mind them at all man!
well to tell you the truth that rocks on the bottom act as bacteria place to colonize and as said, as a drain for the pump that recirculates only the upper bucket

lava rocks never did stuck in my drain, i picked only the biggest pieces that were put in front of the pump's intake

for my main drain line i use a 2" PVC tube, sealed with rubber seals used for the WC shell flushing system, best drainage i found so far...BUT i agree on NZJAY, those filters combined with lava rocks are a winner in drainage

just a lil comment on the lava rocks, where i live lava rocks are pretty expencive, that's why i used them only for bacteria bedding not for plant support, well that was one of the reasons

p.s.

i have never had clogs with the main drainage, in the bucket's pump the roots grew to the propeller like this...

but the pump was still running without overheating

i'm trying to solve this "problem" with different setting of them lava rocks

the way you described your drain is the exact way that i've seen on some pro ebb and flow tables filled with river gravel so i think that would be a good drainage....but it is less reliable as a over-flow system like this

this is the best desing for my needs so far, i've made two similar but bigger systems made like this working with no problem and no clogging at all, because the roots stay submerged and the over-flow is just a little thicker than the water's film, that's why the roots get in the drain very rarely, and even if they do, the drain is big enough to let enough water throug even if the whole hole is covered with roots

glad to see you both! nz: i hope it's some good shit!

come by again and we'll have another doobie smoked togheter

Some samples from the last run

Some samples from the last run

I've decieded to give u another show on the last buds i've grown, so this time it's Mango and Blue Moon Rocks
,
best dry storage i ever got, smell and taste only accumulates in time!
the one that's almost empty is BMR and the other one is Mango

mango right, bmr left, it's not seen well but, mango is far more brighter colored then bmr

let's have another look at both in natural light

Blue Moon Rocks, why blue moon? it totally shines like a blue moon in the center where ther's loads of thrics, and rocks? because the buds are as solid as a rock, really packed tight. taste is rather a litttle bit harsh but it has a fruity smell...High is nicely balanced and distributed all over the body, so it's a veerrryy relaxing strain to smoke, still potent enough

Mango is bright green colored, and it has a very very strong citrus smell. It leaves u a sweet aftertaste and u can feel that lemony taste while u'r burning it. High is very toxic and it pushes u in a trans state for half an hour, then u'r still wondering for the next 4 hours if you actually smoked something or are u just still stoned??? so if you burn 3-4 off these per day, u feel close to zombies when the day ends, awsome uplifting after effects

so now it's time to combine those two in one piece hehe
:joint:

i'm rolling pretty slim joints with little tobbaco, so i don't need much

the grinder does it job perfectly, as long as the buds are cured correctly ...why i put tobbaco in it? because i feel more taste like this, if i'm rolling straight weed in a joint it just numms my burbons...no tobbaco on the pipe ofcourse, but let's stick with the joints today
..trim trim and, arrange..and flip ..and that's it ..lighter please!

have a great day ppl, sun is shinning in!

Great series of grows that really shows how you're evolving as an indoor gardener!
This has been a pleasure to read, thanks.
I'm also into skinny joints with tobacco myself - it really gives a much better burn. One thing I normally do though is cut away some of that paper when doing skinny - no need for multiple layers - or are you doing the inside-out rolling trick since you're talking about flipping?

thanks for the kind words man! and no problem
yes i'm inside-outie, gives me the pleasure off burning the remaining "flag", and hypothetically saves a few mg of tar in my lounges hehe :D
