Peace, Pakalolo. Just read your first post on this thread. Thanks for the welcome.

Lot of catching up to do with 68 pages.

Those sound awesome, Sea. Will be nice to smoke up and listen to the man sing. Know you will make the most of some special seeds.

Welcome, I hope you discover some value if you read all my posts about my experiences of growing the herb.

HatchBrew,

Wow, it looks like you got some interesting phenos there to sample. You got amazing color in that Purple Star. I have one but not so much color as yours. Yours looks a lot like the mother.

I got a 3Elders pheno that turned out to be a keeper running it under the T5s. I'm going to be running it through my normal regiment of lights. She is already in a 2 gallon pot under 400W MH with the tweeners.

It looks like those last 2, Goblin Scepter and Old Goblin have a little more time before they are matured.

It smells great too. Stinky funk double-sided tape. Buds are bulkiest of the three purple stars with best color & smell. It's a keeper so far, see how it smokes. eight weeks of flower is 13th. Probably take it next week. And the 3 elders the week after. This will be a great jar fill up for the summer...don't like running low near fall time.

Really excited about the stank coming from the 3E's. The deep green foliage, then #4 has some darker colors developing on the leafs (purple/black). Was trying to photograph it, but it wasn't coming thru too well.

Yeah gob sep 5 & old gob 2 need some more weeks, interesting tops they're developing. Gob sep5 has thrown a 5 non-pollen producing nanners. You can see one in the first pic above of it, the close-up of the top. There is a nanner at 3 O'clock. No biggie to me, and probably more stress related than anything.

Had two plants pick up some PM. The shortest of the crew Old Goblin and a lanky thin Purple star. Everyone else no sign of it, had a week of overcast & foggy till noon awhile back, plus few spots of rain here & there.

I've been noticing that many of the pheno seems to have PM resistance but not all of them. I glad to hear you're finding the same about the ones you're running.

I have a lady that is DJ Short's Blueberry at 59 days since flipping her to 11 on and 13 off. I could take her now but she is still drinking every 3 days and isn't getting any PM on her so I'm letting her live. She is just now starting to produce foxtails. I've said I never heard that term before coming to the forums. What I thought back in the lonely cellar days was the plant was trying to reproduce and because the original set of flowers weren't seeded she was developing more seed sites with the hopes of reproduction. So I never thought of them as foxtails, just more bud sites.

Blueberry may be sativa but this one I'm growing is finishing more like an indica. I've never grown Blueberry before so I have no past experience with her. I'm going to take her this weekend along with the 2 Blue Orca or maybe I'll wait another week. I've got plenty of medicine right now and I don't need to move the teenagers into this area until the first of July. I just can't make up my mind.

My teenagers are just about ready to be flipped. Only 11 more days until July 1 and that is my target date for flipping. They're all doing good and are at the point that I would normally flip them. They all have very nice canopy. 4 of them where put in 5 gallon pots on May 1 and the other 4 on May 10. So they've been veg'ging for a long time.

This is my last run with the variegated Goblin Girl. She is fun to grow and pretty to look at but the yellow does reduce the yield. I have some pheno hunt plants that may make the line up and she is on the bubble to be tossed. I still have her sister and I'll just keep her.

Before SG1 encouraged ending the variegated Goblin Girl run with this last teenager I had decided to do just that. I've learned a lot about selecting cuttings from this plant and I don't think there is anything else to learn from her. The yellow leaves do reduce the yield with too much yellow causing the leaf to die prematurely. Anyway I can always get her back later.

My Goblin Girl sister has been know to throw the yellow branch. So the genetics to make this happen was hidden in the mother of both cuttings. Here is proof of the trait showing up in Goblin Girl sister.

I won't be taking that branch as a cutting. Besides the trait does pass through to the seeds. Here is my variegated Goblin Girl seedling. I've decided to toss her though.

Today is the day that I flipped my teenagers into ladies for my outdoor run. I'll be leaving them in the flower areas until August 1 then I'm moving them outdoors. They should stay in flower mode even though the hours will move from 11 to 15. Anyway that is my hope. I've never done this before or read about anyone doing this. So I'll be learning something here.

Love seeing your updates!

I've heard of out than in, but not the in than out. Was considering light depping the sativas this year, but this would work too. Maybe wait a little longer before putting them out? 2 weeks to start budding, maybe if they're 3-4+ weeks into flower they will stay the course/be less stressed out/reveg.
I usually finish my sativas on the patio in December, only got the Khmer Gold in that category thus far, got to pop something else, plus cuts of 3E, Old Goblin, and purple star.

Going to get to smoking some of the seed hunting soon, the 3 elders with it's coffee, cocoa, funkiness has this guy very excited!

I will be putting 8 ladies outside and 2 are Goblin Girl sisters and a variegated Goblin Girl. This is my last run with the variegated Goblin Girl and I'm getting tired of typing Goblin Girl sister. After this run I'm going to only be typing Goblin Girl sans sister.

In than out will be something we both can learn from. I have a couple of other girls I'll be putting out but bringing them inside if they don't finish up outside before the weather turns. The way June has been here in the PNW (more like SoCal) it's possible that we'll have a warm and dry October.

I like the look of that VGG. They are attractive at this phase even if the buds don't live up to the foliage's beauty

yea hold on to that variegated one for when full legalization opens up the ornamental market and suburban homeowners are looking for nice cannabis plants to match the azaleas.
