I flipped the girls to 11 on and 13 off on July 1. These ladies will be put outdoors to finish on August 1. They're 18 days into the flip and I've had to tie them to stakes they're putting on some much bud.

Here is a close up of my last variegated Goblin Girl. I have no clones of her so when she is harvested it is the end of the line. She fell out of the line up.

Wow, I had to jump into my way back machine to come up with the context and I may still get this wrong. My military occupation specialty (MOS) was 13E20 fire direction control. I hope that is what you asked.

it twas. i was in the usaf so we had AFSC (air force specialty code) designations. i would let you know mine but it was a weird one and I don't advertise it in the open, my enlistment was 83-87.

I was drafted January 24, 1967 - December 14, 1968. I spent my time in Germany instead of Vietnam.

Thanks HatchBrew for the report. In my teenage area I have an Old Goblin, a Purple Star and a 3Elders.

These are the first run under my normal growing lights. The pheno hunt was done under T5s so I couldn't get a good feel for the quantity but I could make some determinations about the quality.

Old Goblin came through with the wonderful smell of her mother, Goblin Queen. It's a strong grape soda smell. So I'm looking forward to the finish for her around end of September or early October.

Purple Star carried the coloration of its mother, Neon Purps.

3Elders is leaning more to the sativa side but the quality of this one has required me to toss the variegated Goblin Girl. She will be in my line up.

I'll have better reports once these girls have finished.

3Elders smells like the light skunk smell of good marijuana. I'm really bad at smells though. I knew fruity from skunky but that's about the extent of my abilities.

I got a older gentlemen near me who run on the good weed or great weed paradigm. Another is guy is good sativa hybrid or okay indica hybrid mindset. They don't care what it is, just be effective and taste good.

Moved some of the girls outdoors and shutdown some lights. This isn't my ladies because they aren't going outdoors until August 1. These are just extras and pheno hunt girls that might as well enjoy the summer were having. If this holds through mid-October I should get a harvest from these.

I thought I would try my hand at making hash oil. I'm not into eating cannabis because I prefer to smoke it. I seen some posts about making it in other journals and have read them. I decided to follow BadKat's recipe that is found here:

BadKat's hash oil

I started with 5 grams of my hash that I decarbed at 220 degrees for 20 minutes then turned off the oven and opened the door for a few seconds. I then closed the oven door for 10 more minutes. This is what it looked like.

gallery_726300_5163_53852.jpg

I added 1/4 teaspoon of soy lecithin granules were mixed in with the decarbed hash and 2 1/2 teaspoons of coconut oil (liquified). I then put it back into the oven at 220 degrees for 40 minutes. I opened the oven and let it cool down and ended with this.

No, I didn't lick the fork. I had to order some pipettes and 00 gelatin caps so when they arrive I'll heat it up again for 40 minutes at 220 degrees and cap it up.

This is for one of my MMJ card holders.

I thought I would share some of my pheno hunt girls that are in the teenage area. 3Elders is already and keeper and I'll be tossing Blueberry for her to move into the line up.

I've been working on my cellar flooding problem yesterday and again today. I've got the ditch outside roughed out and have dug the hole to put the sump pump well liner in. I had to dig down 30" but I didn't hit hardpan, aka ouklip?. That was the good news but the last 9" or so was scooping out the dirt using a gallon pot. Towards the end I had trouble reaching the bottom. My arms weren't quite long enough.

Here is the hole with the liner next to it.

This is what it looks like with the liner inserted in the hole.

Now I need to dig the french drain and this is done. I should finish today.

Enough of the labor intensive pictures. How about some Goblin Girls. I have 3 that will be put outdoors next Saturday. They are 25 days since I flipped them to 11 on and 13 off. I'll show you the variegated Goblin Girl first. This is the last time I'm growing her. I have no cuttings nor clones of her.

gallery_726300_5163_188380.jpg

Here is one of her sisters that I do have cuttings from and she is showing the variegation too.

gallery_726300_5163_275141.jpg

She doesn't have as much yellow but more of a yellow-green coloring. Finally here is the last Goblin Girl in this run and has normal leaf color.

nice updates pak! i'm loving having french drains under the flooring. it definitely came in handy when the blumats flooded.

plants look great.

i've had really great luck with the badkat cannacaps. i took them daily for several years. one thing i found was i have a much lower tolerance than badkat, so i would dilute them further than the tutorial suggests.

my perfect dosage is one pill is just enough to keep me medicated but not enough to feel any effect. if i want a more recreational effect i just take 3 or 4.

hope your patient finds some relief with them!

I got the french drain trench dug.

With the french drain in the trench.

I thought this was going to be much harder than it turned out to be. I'm tired but I got it done. Now to work on the ditch outside. There will be manual digging with a shovel but most of it will be with a track hoe.

Thanks for the advice. I've heard similar information from a couple of others that have made the caps using BadKat's recipe. I don't eat this stuff but I may have to give one a try when I don't have manual labor to do. It would be hard to do this trench digging being stoned to the gills.

Looks Awesome PAK!!! Bye Bye Blueberry! The ladies are looking great that are going out, good amount of budding for 25 days.

Liking the hash oil! Maybe try making it this fall or winter. Soy Lecithin...definitely don't have any of that.

Get them kids to work on the trench!!

I got both the soy lecithin and coconut oil for the health food store.

I'm excited about getting the ladies outdoors on Saturday. I'm sure they will love the sun.

My granddaughter is a teenager and it's hard to get her to do much. I've got the drainage ditch almost completed. Maybe finish it today.

One of my grow friends brought me some hypnum peat moss from eastern Washington. It looks a lot different than Canadian sphugnum peat moss. It's much finer in texture. I don't know that much about it expect what I've read off of Google searches. It's also called Sheet Moss and is even used as a substitute for lawn. It must be what is growing in my yard. Here is what it looks like compared to Alaska brand peat. Hypnum on the left.

gallery_726300_5163_1054810.jpg

I mixed up 15 gallons of soil yesterday. Of the 5 gallons of peat I used half hypnum and half sphugnum. I'll see how it does. I don't think I will use all hypnum in place of sphugnum.
