This is the first time in over a year I've had any problems. If my cellar hadn't gotten so wet I think I would be okay. This summer I'm going to fix that problem.

Sorry to hear about your pm issue man. Your teenagers are looking dandy though.

PM is just what we have to put up with here in the PNW. We had an unusually warm winter with lots of rain. It isn't the first time I've had to deal with it. The teenagers should be okay but I need to be obsessive about my IPM.

Yes, I have CC's The One and Blue Orca. I'm crossing them with some males that I popped from seeds that I had frozen since the early 70's. They were breed by my old grow buddy from crossing Thai stick with some genetics out of Mendocino county (possibly Acapulco Gold). Both of CC's plants came from crossing Thai stick to something out of Kandahar. So the males are only mine. No one else had the seeds.

I was poking around in the ladies area and noticed a couple of seeds had split their housing so I grabbed them. I will harvest these plants for the seeds next weekend. It looks like they will be ready.

Didn't know what PM was until last winter. Was intimated by it.... now...it's nothing. Just like the bugs stay in front of them. It usually can be found on the stem before any signs on the leafs.

Bought a great dehumidifier and got my temps in line. Plus the actinovate. That was my solution.

I'll keep posting pictures so you and I can follow the growth. I plan on doing more breeding this summer outdoor run.

I'm flipping my pheno hunt plants tomorrow. I need to set the timer tonight.

Today we finish the 8-ball team tournament that started on Thursday night. We won our first 2 matches that night and are playing for the point today. Our first match was against the toughest team in the league. Let me correct that, we're the toughest team in the league but they are the toughest opponent we play. We beat them 7-4 and I got the 7th win. Same score for the next match and again I got the 7th win. We play at 1:30 pm today.

I didn't want the whole day to be wasted in bars so I decided to harvest my EWC out of my horizontal flow worm bin. It turned out to be relatively easy. I did use the 1/2" wire mesh screen I've shown before. I ended up with 10 gallons of my own EWC. I don't get pure casing but I like it better than the pure casings because it has bigger chunks and actually looks like high quality soil.

I ended up with 10 gallons of my EWC. It looks like each side will hold almost 20 gallons of casings. Now to see how long it takes for my worms to work through 20 gallons of material. I didn't find many worms in the 10 gallons I took out. I think this is a good sign that most have migrated over to the other side. I did stock it with 2000 worms. I saw big worms and little worms so they are reproducing too.

I'm getting ready to freeze some pollen. I talked to SG1 about this and he puts the pollen in the refrigerator and then freezes it. So here is what I'm doing. I collected the pollen a couple of months ago and it has been in hermetically sealed glass jars with desiccate bags. I folded up some origami envelopes to put them in. I take the origami envelopes and put them on a cookie sheet and place in the oven at a low temperature to dry out all the moisture. I have already labeled the envelopes with the contents and date.

Once I have the envelopes dried out I'll put the pollen in each of them and place them in a quart jars with more desiccate bags. Here is a picture of what I'm doing. The origami envelopes are on the cookie sheet and the 2 jars of pollen are on each side with the quart jar at the top.

To finish up here is pictures of the pollen I have. I only froze about a quarter of what I have.

I did some prep work for my outdoor summer run. Last year I dug hole and planted in the ground. This didn't work out that well because of the sun grew one side and the back side suffered. So this summer I'm growing in 10 gallon pots. Another change I'm making is to move one of my fenced up areas about 20' towards the sun side of my forest. I have to grow on the edge of my forest to tend unwanted eyes from spotting them. So this is the extended growing area. I will have 5 girls in here.

I took down the PM ladies I let go for 8 weeks to get the seeds. They didn't look too bad for my fighting PM for the last 3 weeks I didn't get a shot of 3M though.

I transplanted cuttings from my pheno hunt today. I got a 3Elder #4, a Purple Star #1, a Panama Red, 2 3Elder #3 and 3 3Elder #1. Those 3Elders appear to be fast at rooting. I'm still waiting on Goblin Scepter #3, Purple Star #5 and Purple Star #2 to root. I also transplanted the seedling that is either The One or Blue Orca X Eminem or MTV, aka bag seed. I'm tracking it as The One.
