About 3 weeks into flower here...

Old Goblin...reminiscent of the halo line. Very similar structure. 8 leads are about to stack upwards of 10" colas.

3Elders...this one may take upwards of 12 weeks to flower. Maturing rather slowly...very sativa dominant and going to yield well. She just keeps stretching and stacking.

Those are looking good. Thanks for posting the pictures.

Goblin Queen's grandfather was BC Bud Depot's The Purps so that makes him the great-grandfather of Old Goblin. Halo's father was The Purps so that may be what is coming through the breeding. SG1 says that The Purps are good for contributing to the flavors and smells. I know GQ has the most wonderful grape flavor and smell.

HB said, "what awesomeness shakes out of all four of these lines".

The genetics were sound and 3M turned out to be a keeper. I'm hoping to find some nice ones in the pheno hunt. I don't expect everyone to be great. I'm just looking for a couple. I may run some outside this summer if they turn out to be worth keeping.

I have another Old Goblin that will be ready to flower soon. This one seems to have the same father is my 3E #1, but not the same as Old Gob #2. This one is showing very few similarities to both. It has very erratic internodal spacing, and is doing this weird spiral leaf twist mutation on new growth. It's been doing as long as I can remember. I am very excited for this one I love the structure, vigor, and mystery of it.

The spiral is something I haven't seen in my plants. Mine don't look so much sativa like it does. I have seen the erratic internodal spacing in some of them.

Interesting. So it seems I have found several recessive genes. Took 3 clones off of her yeztwrday. I want to make sure I can keep this one alive.

I have 4 of my girls kicked into flower on April 6. I gave them some serious lollipopping to improve the air as part of my IPM for PM. So far all my plants are showing improvement. Things are moving in a positive direction.

I've been doing some experimenting with PM management and I thought I would share what I've learned. When I got back from the pool tournament in mid-March my 8 ladies had been under a serious PM outbreak. Only 3M had shown some resistance to the disease. I figured I won't get any good bud but I needed them to run 3 weeks more so I could harvest the seeds. I did almost daily spraying of Actinovate until I harvested them. This allowed me to finish them and my buds are actually in good shape. I don't see any PM on them.

I still was having PM problems with the tweeners. They were just behind the severity of the ladies. I started spraying them almost daily alternating Actinovate and Serenade. With the teenagers and the tweeners I did some extreme lollipopping of them to improve that air flow. I've also been looking them over just like I would if I had a spider mite infestation. So any leaf that shows even a slight sign that PM is trying to establish itself gets plucked.

PM is a fungus that will grow on and into the surface layer of cells. They send out mycelium like all fungi. What I'm trying to do is stop that from getting well established. The ladies I came home to were well on their way to having the PM take a foothold. Right now I'm seeing the occasion leaf with PM but mostly it is gone.

My cellar has dried out considerably and I have a dehumidifier running most of the time. I'm thinking about mixing up some baking soda to spray. This is something that I would use sparingly because I don't want to have my soil soaking up baking soda. I have timothy hay over the top so that adds protection to my soil.

Glad the actinovate is working for you too! You spray neem or essential oils on your veg plants? Those are a couple steps I've added this year.

No planned pairings with them. Just find a group of gals and see what's going on and harvest side tasty treats. popped five of each, so have the rest of the pack to use later.

I'll do some scratch and sniff soon. Lots of transplanting, training to do. Vegetables and animals galore.

I trimmed Pimp Daddy #5 this morning and when I checked the buds I did see some PM. I decided to make the buds into hash and not smoke them. I'll harvest the seeds and sample some of the clean bud. I still have 3M, Pimp Daddy #1 and Gooey to trim. I'm hoping that Gooey is okay and I'm sure 3M will be fine.

Pheno hunt pictures of the ladies that were flipped on March 28. They have just completed 2 weeks under 11/13. I tried to get top and side pictures but some of them didn't come out as good as I hoped.
