My intro and bona fides...

Old goblin left 3elders right. 3 days since the flip to 12/12. Both are about 4' tall from the ground.

If I have my plants correct that 3Elders looks like a skinny leaf pheno. That is what I'm looking for. A 3Elders pheno that takes on the characteristics of Thai stick.

Thanks for posting that.

It's very Sativa leaning. I've had to supercrop the hell out of her to keep her from stretching so high. Having said that, for such a true sativa it has some tighter internodal spacing than I would have guessed. It's going to yield well that is for sure, I can already tell.
I am on the decline of a russet infestation so adults are looking good, but it sure is hard to get any clones to root right now. I hope I can get some rooted before these start to flower.

I'm glad to hear your russet mite infestation is coming under control.

I've got a PM problem with my seed run ladies. I'm going to loss the bud to PM but I'll get the seeds. I'm shutting down my 2 flower areas and cleaning them. I can't run more through there until I get rid of all the PM.

I may have found another male in my pheno hunt. I'll know by next weekend.

It took me eleven hours today to do all my cellar garden work. I started the day by trimming the lady I took down last Saturday. I followed that up with transplanting some rooted cuttings into 4" pots. I transplanted the Konga pheno plants from a gallon to 2 gallon pots. In the teenage area I had a Blue Orca and The One in 2 gallon pots so those got upgraded accommodations with 5 gallon pots.

This took a big hunk out of the day. I worked with my worm bin adding material to the other side. I took cuttings of MTV, Goblin Queen, Blueberry, The One, Blue Orca and Noctural. I'll be taking some more cuttings later as I prepare for my summer outdoor run. This time I'm going to use only 10 gallon pots and not bury in the ground. That way I can rotate them a 1/4 turn each day.

I finished it all off with going on a seed hunt from the pollination of Goblin Girl sister. I got seeds from crossing her with Eminem and MTV.

The bad news is my seed run ladies are in trouble with PM. I might have been able to slow the process if I was home last week but probably not. So I'm going to lose the buds in order to harvest the seeds. I've actually got plenty of herb that this isn't a big deal. I'm going to shutdown the flower area and finish the teenagers off in the original flower area. When the PM area is shut down I'm going to clean it up with bleach and let it sit for at least a month before using it again.

The actinovate is working great for me on the PM front.

Started using essential oils this week too. Keep the bugs at bay on top of neem and pyganic already in rotation.

transplanting 45 seedlings from a tray to 4" pots the other night was a blast...it's not work if you're having fun...

How was your trip & tournament?

I'll look into the actinovate. I'm using sulfur burns, Serenade and NPA (neem oil, ProTeKt and aloe vera juice) but with the flooding in the cellar and the continuing dampness I don't think that I can control the PM. My teenage area has a concrete floor so there is less RH in there. I'm going to move my dehydrator in there too.

I had lots of fun at the tournament. I didn't play that well in the senior singles event but I played well in the team event. Unfortunately my teammates didn't play well so we only played 3 matches. I'm quitting the team for next year. 2 of my teammates are okay but the other 3 don't practice enough. So I'll go home after the singles event next March and save some entry money and hotel nights.

So I'm destined to loss my seed run buds. I've resigned myself to this. I haven't lost a run to PM in many years. These ladies hit the 8 week mark on April 2 so I've got a little over 2 more weeks to go. I really want these seeds and don't need the buds. The Pimp Daddy and Goblin Girl are being hit the worst. My 3M and the Gooey seem to be less susceptible to it and I might get them to bud. Only time will tell.

HatchBrew - thanks for the information. I'll be looking into this and put it into my IPM rotation.

Tough stuff man! RIP sweet tasty buds, you will live on and on thru you progeny!

**looking at it a 2nd time, odd that there isn't any on the fan leaves... Must of been living on the stem and worked its way out.

It is on the fan leaves. That is where I first spotted it. All I want from them is the seeds. I've got enough bud to keep myself and the 2 in my collective for many months.

Old goblin. Looks to have a different father from the other old goblin. The same one as my 3elders. This is more structurally appealing than the other.

I've noticed 2 distinct characteristics in the pheno. One has longer internodal spacing while the other is more compact. It will be interesting to see how those 2 types will finish.

I took down 2 more males today. Old Goblin #4 and Purple Star #1 were males. Only Konga #1 is in an unknown state. So here is what I've got.

3Elders, I have 3 females.
Old Goblin, I have 2 females.
Goblin Scepter, I have a female.
Purple Star, I have 2 females.
Panama Red, I have a female and a male (I'm going to flower him for the pollen).
