I've got the pictures of 2 Purple Stars that are showing the characteristic differences. I've also seen this in the other cultivars but I just showing Purple Star. The difference is in the internodal spacing. The leaf shapes are similar in both.

Here is a side-by-side comparison from 2 different angles.

Here is what the closer internodal spacing plant looks like.

This is the other one.

Both of these are females from the same mother. I'm not sure which was the father so I don't know whether Eminem or MTV is producing this characteristic. I'm taking some cuttings this morning and will be flipping them soon.

I took cuttings off my pheno hunt plants. I tried to take 3 each but 3Elders #3 I took 2 including the top. So now I have cuttings for

3Elders #1
3Elders #3
3Elders #4
Goblin Scepter #3
Purple Star #1
Purple Star #2
Purple Star #5
Panama Red

I'll be flipping these next weekend. I still have an Old Goblin That I'm not sure of along with a Konga.

For most of my growing life I have taken my trimmings and burned them or tossed them. Now that I've done my 3 IWE hash run I'm loving the bags. I took and saved off a little of each of 120, 73 and 45 but all of 25. The rest I rolled into a ball and now it looks like the Afganhi hash I got in Amsterdam back in the army days of 67-68. I ended up with 2 grams.

Looking forward to seeing what my hopeful ladies do!

They're thirsty and growing strong.

How's the blueberry doing?

Hatch needs to run his bags. Hash jar about empty. Cookie jar is full up though and this last batch is strong. Not sleepy but little goes long way ;0

The rock I use in my soil mix is pumice. It's a white colored volcanic rock I use for aeration. 1/3 of my base soil is pumice. I forgot what I paid for it but it wasn't too expensive. $10-15 for a 40 pound sack, maybe?

I'm taking down some plants in about 10 days. That should give me enough trimmings to run another IWE hash batch. I'm liking this use of my trimmings.

Nice little hash log there Paka. Have thought about getting some bags also. prob going to do some qwiso this week.

Got 4 beans in root riots for a new ppk set up I built. These will be my first photos and hoping they turn out as well as the autos did for me. will be my summer smoke if all goes well.

How about an update on the teenagers. Most of them got transplanted into 5 gallon pots on Feb 28. That's a little over 3 weeks ago. They were underwatered and you could see lots of space between the plants. Now they are filling up the space. I'm going to flip them in a couple more weeks.

Looking super green Pakalolo. :) Very nice to see your work. So are those different versions of the One? Those Purple Star phenotypes are easy to distinguish. ;) Thank you for sharing. Your soil speaks for itself.

The One are not different cultivars but different cuttings. I number them so I can keep track of them in my spreadsheet. They came off the same mother plant.

I'm going to be flipping them this weekend so I'm interested to see how the stretch and bud out.

Thanks for the compliment. My soil recipe is working well for my environment.

I haven't been taking many pictures of the ladies because of my PM problem. If I didn't want the seeds I would have tossed them by now. They have another week to go so I thought I would take some pictures. Sorry about the PM but sometimes stuff happens.
