Just harvested my worm bin last week. 8 five gallon buckets worth. Plus a bucket full of worms to start a separate pile. Use a smart pot big bed. Already refilled and going.

Half full with leafs, 1/4 unprocessed stuff from filtering for castings. then a mix of coffee grounds, manures (horse, chicken, cow, exotic) and pureed veggie scraps.

Using some of the harvested worms to add to all my pots.

Castings for top dressing, teas, and soil amending.

woot woot!!

I'm sure your plants will love it. It is so nice to have worm bins and harvest the vermicompost. That way you get the highest quality EWC.

I just started some Bogglegum from BOG it has NL#5 in it. So I'm looking for a bubblegum and a NL#5 pheno out of the lot. I miss Blueberry. Big time favorite/staple from where I originated...Great Lake region.

I never heard of Blueberry until I came out of the cellar. I have heard good things about it but I'll judge that for myself. I have a high bar to met when it comes to my cellar stable. I'll be pollinating her though to look through the seeds.

I've got some girls in 2 gallon pots hanging in the tweener area waiting for room to open up in the teenager area. In a week or two I'll move them into there and transplant them into 5 gallon pots. I've got some Goblin Girl sisters that I need to finish first. Here is what I have.

I took one of the buds out of the jar I have filled with The One. Here are a couple of pictures.

Here is a macro of the bud. It looks to me like The One is a trichome factory. Of course smoking tells you this is some quality herb.

I turned my thermal compost pile today. It has gone through the thermal cycle and now it is full of worms. Big worms and baby worms are all through it. The last time I turn it was on January 25. It was still warm and not many worms. Now those worms are busy turning it into vermicompost. Those worms work for food and I get their poop. Don't you just love nature.

Pics looks great!! The One looks bushy and full as could be!

Just turned and started compost piles today too. Big thick worms, grabbed a couple for fishing this week. Lucky fish getting a plump well fed last meal. Thanks worms you do so much.

Is that your veggie garden plot behind the compost pile?

Turned mycompost pile last week. Picked out a couple dozen worms for the chickens. Nice winter snack when grain feed is the majority of their diet 75

That is my vegetable garden in the background. I do no till so I covered it with 6 bales of straw in the fall. This spring I'll throw down some more straw. I just move it aside and transplant my starts. It worked well last year.

I like the fact that the feral worms find the compost pile. I don't have to add anything. Last year the pile had shrews digging through it eating the worms. There will still plenty of worms. So far this year I haven't seen the shrew activity.

17/20 so far on your seeds bud!! One each of Ole goblin, Goblin Specter, 3 elder are the ones I'm waiting on. It's been four days, so plenty of time for the others to join the party.

Woot woot scooby doo

Woot woot scooby doo

I think the longest seed took 11 days to pop out of the ground. I ended up with 17 out of 24 with my seeds. I got 5 out of 12 with other breeders seeds.

I was lucky and got 3 females out of the 4 that popped of 3Elders.

I'll be taking cuttings around mid March and flipping them.

I took down a Goblin Girl sister today so I can move the variegated Goblin Girl out of the teenage area. This opens it all up again so I can set the clocks to 18/6 and transplant some of the tweeners into 5 gallon pots. I ran out of both neem cake and timothy hay so I'm going to go get more. I'll have more pictures later today.

They look a little ragged because I haven't watered them and I just tied them down. I'll get a group shot of the teenagers later.

I finished up the transplanting. I put 2 more in 5 gallon pots and 2 in 2 gallon pots. Tomorrow I'll be transplanting from 4" pots to gallon pots. The first 2 pictures are in 5 gallon pots.
