Do the nanners look like this? I had a hermie last go round, picked them off with tweezers (very gently) and ended up with no seeds.

thats the funny part, they didnt look like bananas at all, just tiny yellow "nubs" full of wet pollen, right in the middle of the tips of the top buds... weird!! and late this morning, i found MORE light leaks!! killed em tho... was the line where the two doors meet in front.. killed em dead!! :X

ive run it i guess four or five days now with no interior fan (other than blower) and everything seems to be OK... wintertime is no time to be fan shopping!

i ended up cutting the tops off many of the flowers on that hermie plant, the new lightleaks were really causing all kinds of new nasty bananas... anyways, trying to keep yields up overall despite sacrificing the flower tops...

that was no surgery, unless you think of traumatic amputation as surgery! the dark one this morning was looking AWESOME, despite accidentally falling asleep with the door closed and waking up to about 90deg ambients! plants all seemed fine, it helps that the box intake is down LOW and right next to the outside window... the rest of the room can be cooking but the interior of the box "relatively" not so cooking.... the ballasts on top of the box behind the TV add much of the room heat. actually the plants looked a bit better than fine. the dark one seems to have exploded a bit overnight. I think they might be hitting a growth spurt here close to the end (day 36 of predicted 45-50)...

checked the fatherbox in the closet (cardboard box upside down over three males, two 26w CFls hanging inside box, all inside walk-in closet), and ive got pollen!! and the new mixed sogtub is i think at a perfect time to pollenate (about 2wks of flower)! so i am going to be able to make some seeds and PRESERVE these LS genes for next time!! i didnt look to see which one of the plants had dropped the pollen, but its either one of two LSes or a SSHxHeri..

Alright, have not done the pollenating yet, mostly because the new clones still look a bit "early", and if im going to do this, i want to get a ton of seeds. might wait another week...

i did transplant the DARK LIFESAVER (hehe) into a huge 12" diameter pot, and had to stick it into the "well" on top of the DWC bucket turned upside-down, due to it being so big now. It wasnt exactly rootbound, but the fine-hair roots had definitely reached the outside of the rootball. hopefully the extra root ROOM will pay off as we run through these last three weeks. Im going to feed right up till the end as i intend to water cure these buds.... we need YIELD, and fully feeding them right till the chop can only help! i love these nutes by the way!! (GH Floranova BLOOM)

pollenated, or attempted to, last night... redid fatherbox, its larger now and holds the pollenated (i hope they are pollenated, pollen was a bit old) clones, the SSH/Heri dad and two LS dads)...

still having issues with the light lifesaver, looks like some possible mutant male/female growth going on still.... anything that looks yellow/ish i cut off tho!

they look awesome man! look's like you've got that cab filled to max capacity width wise. but if you have the height you can alway's let them get a bit taller. what do you use for a male room? they dont really need special treatment and would flower out just fine in a closet with no light's. i'd throw some ssh pollen on a Ls girl or the other way around. they sound like great compatible to make a nice mixed indica/sativa that doesnt lack a bit of potency.

with 160w/sq.ft. , im a little worried about over-doing the light, so i have them a good bit away from the bulbs... prolly about 10", which i guess isnt that much. i lack an interior circulation fan, but the rush of air in and out via the huge 8" duct intake and the 2400CFM blower is keeping it cool enough at those distances. i got a fan off amazon and its just a matter of waiting for it to get here. anyways, thats why i dont move them closer. in fact the largest bush i actually moved DOWN into the well area on the left, so that its canopy is at least even with the other plants. my malawixmangox is kind of tall with some good angled lower growth (i NST'd this one at a previous transplant), and it actually climbs the wall in the back of the cab, getting excellent side lighting from both sides being up in the crossfire between the two bulbs.

ive been watching the light lifesaver very closely looking for more yellow nasties, but nothing conclusive so far. its hard to tell if new tiny growth is male or female sometimes... this one might end up in the fatherbox yet if it keeps hermie-ing uncontrollably......

veg box light leaks gave me away today!! Hammer came down but i think i can delay long enough to pull a harvest... maybe.......... DAMNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just proves you can go 90% and still fuck it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! human error (mine) as i didnt secure area as per normal procedure upon being so visited... just failed bigtime... DOH!!

nothing serious as in possible LEO involvement. vegbox is compromised but its a theorhetical possibility i could remove plants and equipment from flowerbox, fill with random crap, open for inspection, then re-install plants for a finish... person who "busted" me is fairly naive, ... anyways i only need a couple more weeks for that dark LS... i might could rig another stealthcab elsewhere on premises, shut this one down, move equipt, and then maybe later re-start in this one. this was a kind spot though,,, very convenient for maintenance, inspection. god i felt like KICKING THE SHIT out of myself for fucking this up! all i had to do was jump up, and stab the light switch for the vegbox,,,, or get off my ass and lightproof it alfuckingready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 god i suck!!!!!!!!!!!!



incidentally, the immediate cause for suspicion was THERMAL!! "Do you have a heater in here??!!" then a look at the cab, look at the floor, what is that light for? are you growing p-o-t in there? get rid of it!!" etc......


WE COULD GET LEGAL IN FIVE MINUTES, EITHER ONE OF US, BUT THIS PERSON IS WAY TOO PREJUDICED FOR THAT. anyways, i was planning on shutting down soon anyway. if i can at least finish the dark lifesaver (today is actually day 41,,, should be finishing soon enough!) and then take down the grow, try that inspection routine, and then re-start in ULTRA stealth mode, and just flower out all remaining plants and clones (hoping to make SEEDS) and then shut down for a LONG time... this will be DICEY!!!

it looks like i may get away with keeping the grow going, as long as i kind of dance around the entire issue. i can possibly keep the uncool presence placated and distracted long enough to at least finish that big (dark) lifesaver! i have so many other plants going, though... i accidentally killed my SSH/Heri father, but have a total of three different LS fathers in with the "new" sogtub (at week three of flower as of today (weds). the light and dark big LST LS bushes are at six weeks as of today, as well as the K-train. I need a nice sativa to get WORK done, so it will be nice to finish that one. it looks like it is stretching possibly from heat... going to keep my ambients in check better, also for stealth purposes. when its cold in the rest of the house, it needs to be cold in here!!

the dark lifesaver looks like it still has two more weeks in it. the buds are still growing vertically, and have yet to start to swell up. the K-trains are swelling a bit down below, but still have narrow, almost stretchy thin buds growing rapidly vertically.

in OTHER news, which is a major complication for our stealth, my LS clone that ive had in a netpot full of LAVA ROCKS, finally dropped a root out the bottom of the netpot. so i went ahead and bought a $20 *QUIET* airpump (the $10 one was LOUD) and fired up the DWC. at the moment it is under 24/7 light and the root is still hanging out above the water level. thinking about it now, i think i should move the light away from the top of the plant (have it under a 27w CFL desk lamp) so that it will tend to concentrate on the roots for a lil while... thats what i had been trying lately. i must have had this clone sitting around for MONTHS trying to get it to show roots, but i had it in too-cold conditions, and the stupid roots LOVE the lava rock, so were growing throughout the lava rocks with little fine roots at first, very slowly. but like i said, lately i put it in WAY indirect light, and in warmer spots, and it finally dropped a root!

WHY you ask am i starting a DWC right after getting my stealth blown? One, i can always go get legal myself, as well as my caretake-ee, and then have that part of it taken care of. But also im trying this psychological gamesmanship trying to keep everything cool and just delay delay delay!!!!

here are today's pics... i tried 3tsp/gallon of the FNB but it appears to have burned them slightly... thats what i get for trying to step it up!

here the new sog microtub is missing from the pic because it is inside the fatherbox inside the closet... i added a 65w CFL light in that fatherbox (to the 2x26w CFLs already in there) to help things along... i need seeds! I also added another NICE indica-dom LS daddy plant to the box... the previous pollenation attempt appears to have failed, although its still a bit early)



dark lifesaver in its huge new 12" pot... i had to heat it with a torch to flatten the sides! the other plants are too high to get transplanted (this one lives in the "well")





the castrated light lifesaver is doing well, considering... no new hermies as far as i can tell!!



sogtub is making colas, albeit smallish ones (i guess... had only a few days of veg before flower)..
