Mount Zion 2016

cute hahah

Also had germination issues, first batch got hit by something, 80/200 survived. Second one 150/240 cracked, cold temps. Running 100 more right now...

What's the Borax for?

I wish you the best. Have you registered with the county yet? I'm about ready to this week. Not very often is the 'c' word dropped here. I guess there is no more reason to keep it on the down-low now that the urgency ordinance passed.

stop by any time for some more sauerkraut, mein Freund:)

Borax is for boron. My soil test showed deficiency.

Good luck with those 100! Following tom hills germination method will result in 90+% each time. Key is the temp has to always stay above 80 degrees. My apprentice is moving into his own place soon so I will be able to germinate the 1000 seed sativa hoophouse crop indoors as I did last year!

2 days ago germed 95 more Panama DC, 13 more mixed seeeds*haze*skunk #1, 70 sweetest sativa.

Bout to germ 30 destroyer fem, 20 Panama regular CBG, 20 Panama fem CBG.

Still waiting on 100 mental floss, and I thought 100 more Panama DC but maybe I'm wrong, hoping for some more mixed but we'll see.

Thanks brother

I am registering next week. Just realized my old owner did not get any of the buildings permit, except home, and there all too close to neighbors property line. So I will need to tear them down and purchase a new, or build a new, structure to dry in that is at least 30'x30' as 20'x20' didn't work last year and I'm expecting double.

Good luck with your application, leme know how goes!

I would never drop the "C" word, UNTIL, as u noted, they passed the urgency ordinance banning any new growers from applying until the state starts issuing permits in 2019 :)

Thanks for the offer, I will take u up in it soon. The wife has been making a great fermented corned beef that takes 10 days, maybe in that amount of time things will be calm enough to stop by! Laying drip irrigation down yesterday and today on tne hill garden almost done. Flat garden doing tomorrow. Hoophouse the next.

Stop by any time! Talk soon

The first 3 mixed haze skunk seeds have popped.

From the first batch about 1/3rd germinated. 1/2 of those died from heat stress when the temps rose into 100 and humidity dropped into the 20s, and it went from very cloudy/little sun to all day sun at high altitude. I should have responded quicker with either a shade cloth for a few hours midday, or what I'm doing now. I increased the waterings from 2 times a day to 3 times a day, 8am-12pm-4pm, and I soak the leaves each time. So now of the remaining I am expecting to have 40 perfect healthy plants. Instead of planting those in the garden I am going to send a sample in to test whether they are male or female. In the meantime I will transplant them into 5 gallon airpots I used last year. If I get 20 females I will continue vegging them until large enough to take cuttings off of...they should be ready to place into the garden in early July. Then i could plant the mother. Turn 20 into 150-200 and plant them at half distance as other females, or about every 2' or so.

I plan to keep this present new batch of seeds in small pots for next couple weeks and will plant all of them in garden. That'll give me time to use the rotonator, to plant the veggies, finish up the fences and get the chickens into there coupe and finish up the drip irrigation.

I can't find this emergency ordinance? I have a friend down there and I don't think he knows about that. Can you direct me to any info about it? What's the impact?

I'm excited to watch your garden grow. Were you posting on Craigslist the year before last, looking for a property? I feel like I saw your collective name before. What does the name mean to you?

The ordinance basically implements the new state medical laws. Collectives of patients and stacking recommendations are all out the door. Personal allowed 100 square feet and must register with county, sheriff. Caregivers max out at 2 patients or 200 square feet.

For commercial growers your garden had to be in place, as far as earth moving and disturbing activities, and site preperation like cutting trees, by May 10th. Anyone starting a grow after may 10 is illegal.

Plant numbers are done. They do as waterboard does it where they include all disturbed area for cultivation, space between rows and water tanks etc. I am getting the 10k square foot permit.

Must be 75' from fence. All structures on property must be permitted and to code. Must apply for count permit and pay $5k fee by June 30th or your illegal indefinitely, 1-5 years. For commercial grows must be in correct zone and over 2 acres and cannot exceed 15% of property size.

I was not posting on Craigslist.

Mount Zion came about because that was the weather district I was located in here briefly. There are mount Zion references all around me here, churches for example. What does it REALLY mean to me? To me it means the consciousness, or pure awareness, that stands at the peak of our present experience in the moment just above our thoughts-emotions-desires-believes-attachments. Some believers say it's the product of our brains, just matter, others say it's the eternal soul, and many of our brothers believe it is but a wave of the eternal creator(s) itself experiencing Its own existence in an infinite number of ways in an constrained environment (the universe) where these individual waves of the creator are able to evolve from the lowest life forms, all the way up to the dimensions beyond this physical universe. To some, this universe is a classroom. To experience, evolve, to be aware, to respond to our inner calling and to stop making the same mistakes life after life. To climb the mountain of evolution from microbes to CoCreators and everything in between. Each day I climb Mount Zion :).

The sheep had babies out of no where. Her utter is infected so been having to milk the infected milk out from a very skittish female. Chickens are huge.

Got two cats to keep the ground squirrels at bay.

Thinking about for my drying rooms getting two 40' long shipping containers and insulating them and getting electricity permitted to control the climate.

For my indoor room I'm leaning towards a 10' by 10' indoor tent with LED lighting, platinum p 150 for mothers and something else for cuttings. This winter I'll put in a 20'x60' gale force fully heated so I can move the mothers into there this winter and for the future.
