I was showing this thread to my wife last night saying the same thing. Even without the fantastic farm that's growing, did you see those views and the sunsets? This just became my new dream property :peacock: Be easy out there:biggrin:

Amazing sunsets and views... lots of fresh air and trees of bud... got to be good for the soul.

big ones looking good.

why not add amendments other than spraying? is it really that much of an experiment where you dont mind loosing a huge yield you could clearly boost?

nice to see you improve :)

everythings looking good.

native soil plot was a minimal approach because it puts me over my limit and therefor has a good chance of getting chopped, so no amendments. Soil analysis didnt look too bad anyway. It's not really an experiment, i already had success with the native last year. Not too worried about the yield. how can you be so sure of boosting yield? plant health seems fine.

The mounds were amended, not sure if thats what you are referring to.

i try to improve every year.

The test of a true farmer is to grow out every plant to it's true potential. With soil and tissue testing, most are finding out that a balanced plant won't grow huge, it tends to look more like screw's plants. Filled out fully, tall but not huge. When flower kicks in, you can tell why that is a big advantage. It's all about stored potential going into flower.

Screws plants look just how they are suppose to me. And for the record, I don't believe screws doesn't feed his plants,.

You can even trigger flowering with 15+ hours of sun if you know how to manipulate hormones with minerals

And yes, I know Mg and S are short

And I agree, schrews plants look good to me

The size of a full season plant in july is only somewhat relevant to how much that plant will produce in october

ive noticed that people who grow in areas wih less sun than here have bigger plants but they seem to be stretching more, the growth is not as tight, and the buds dont finish as big or as dense even though the frame of the plant is same or bigger.

never said i dont feed the plants... i foliar feed weekly.

Sorry, meant soil feed.

Plants look great, and the points you make are exactly what I am talking about.
I bought a 300gal tank to start doing root drenches but i didn't tie it down to the back of my truck and i lost it on the way home. So no soil feeding yet. no topdressing either, i'm not sure what they need at this point anyway.

weekly foliar: (amounts are aproximate)

30ml/gallon AEA Holomac/mic
10ml/gallon AEA micropak
30ml/gallon Biomin calcium
1ml/gallon Tainio Pepzyzme
1gram/gallon Tainio Micro5k and PZ1000 , alternating weekly
1gram/gallon Ferti-Nitro

Not totally sure what i'm doin with the foliar but i have a rough idea, and they seem to like it so far. What's most surprising to me is how well the plants are doing in the native soil, which has never been tilled, amended, topdressed, or fed. Just that weekly foliar plus whatever is available in the soil and they are chugging right along. makes me wonder why so many people insist on using smartpots filled with peat based mix

I have an outdoor lemon thai kush thats > two weeks into flower and the rest are catching up. Idk what it is with some plants...

The geographic origin of the landrace strain(s) that are in a strains lineage affect outdoor flowering alot, has to do with different seasonal transitions at different lattitudes/environments.

Some strains will begin flowering ~14hrs light and only 10hrs dark.

Damn, that really blows.
