Tons of rain and hail in Illinois/Wisconsin last night, more of the same today. Looks like my plants are going to be flooded for the second time in two weekd. I could cut them in the morning and get some bud, but they could be much better in a couple weeks.
Last time they were flooded, the bottom two branches on the smaller plants were under water, or in other terms, the water was about 10 inches deep. If never fails. Everytime I fertilized my plants, there was a heavy rain within 24 hours.
I can look at it as if the plants survive, they are very strong, or they've used some much energy to defend themselves from the hail, and or weather, thier strength is weakened.
Finally, maybe not the right thread, but my indoor plants had burning on the fan leaves again. They look sickly. It was the heat in my own judgement so I removed 4 23/100 watt CFL's from the 32 square foot cabinet. The toasted fan leaves won;t recover, but maybe the bud leaves won't burn.
Come on mom!(mother nature). There's only a few weeks left in the season and I need some buds....
