as for size and yeilds i think the ones outside should yeild a bit more as there crazy

Its all a gamble for me from this point. I smoked a small bowl of each of my sample buds this morning with a buddy and we got really stoned. Hell, its been a couple hours and I'm still flying high. Because they are still premature the high is a very heady, racey stone. I could cut them now and have a nice chunk of fresh nugs to smoke for a while to come, but in another week or so they will be that much better... I'm just paranoid that something is going to happen to them over the next couple weeks.



Here is a plant that I had left for dead. It gets maybe 4 hrs of light a day, and has gotten absolutely zero water from me all summer. Goes to show what a little sun and water will do...

I would wait, unless you are sure someone will find them, about 3 more weeks could double your yield. I always get nervous and take one or two early, so if I get ripped its not a total loss, but I try to leave the most to finish as late as possible. I'm a total nervous wreck for the last month!

Thanks for the comments everyone! This is my first outdoor grow, and quite different to the indoor work I'm used to.
I'll leave them out there for at least another week. I gave them a real heavy ferting about 4 days ago, I'd like to try and give them at least 10 days from then to try and use some of it up to reduce the fert taste.
My big plants get about 6 hrs of good light every day, which is what I had read was at the bottom of the chart for bud growth, but its working for me. Next year I'm gonna stick a plant or two in a more open area and see how it goes.
Ya the Heli's scare my ass too. I could hear them in the distance over different parts of the forest the whole time I was out at my patch this morning. I honestly don't think that anyone will find where my plants are, but the fact that they get me baked now makes me want to get what I can while I know its still there...But my indoor experience tells me that another 2-3 weeks will make a world of difference in quality and quantity.

damn, nice lookin shit you guys have. i'll show mine again once i get my dudes camera,just bag seed but it's only my 2nd outdorr so... but i was wonderin, how much and how often do you feed your outdoors w/ bat guano? it says 3 Tbsp/Gal. but how often, and is that too weak of a dose? thanx for the input. noob

noob - I don't think that I'm the best one to answer this but I'll share this for what its worth...

I use Pure Blend Pro and Liquid Karma during flower up to about 30 days. At that point I use the same full dose of PBP that I was giving them before, but I also add in one tbsp/gal of indonesian bat guano. I don't do any top dressing etc, just whatever is in the tea.
This was my first outdoor grow so I based everything I did on my indoor experience. Inside I feed full strength two waterings in a row and then twice the container volume of plain water on the third....repeat till about 7-10 days from harvest and then plain water till the end.
Due to rain cycles my outdoor plants got about the opposite. A full feeding, and then two good rains.... According to my calander (I write everything down) from the onset of flower I fed a grand total of 4 times, the last two containing guano. Personally I think they could have used more ferts (similar to indoor regimine), but they seem to have done just fine as is.

Here's my C99, mold was starting to set in on the buds so I took the colas and let the rest go a little bit longer. I'm guessing she's between 50-57 days of flower. Smells nice and FRUITY.....

So I compromised with myself I cut one down and left the other to take her chances. According to when I first started to notice my plants doing some actual budding I think she's about 65 days, which from the cross parents sounds about right. When I first went out there I was going to cut the most mature one for the main reason of keeping the amount of drying bud in the house to a minimum to reduce odor (one now, one in 7-10 days). After getting her home and under the microscope it turns out that she was actually nice and ripe IMO
The other plant could be harvested now, but from the sample buds I cut while harvesting this one should be peaking about the time this one is ready for jars. I'm going to guess the yield for this one at 2-3 oz. The other has thicker larger buds and should yield a little more.

Looks like everyone's buds have really fattened up well over the past couple weeks. I'm looking forward to seeing all of your harvest shots as the next month comes and goes.

Pipeline - Thanks for the congrats I've had handful of indoor harvests, but this was a beast all of its own. I'd say that its safe to say that I'm hooked on the sun for life.

I got paranoid after reading about your mold problems pez. Its been humid and cool around here for the past couple days. And my plant that is left is the denser of the two... After a nice hike in the woods this morning and a very good search I couldn't find any spots of mold on my last girl She is ready to be harvested now, but the other is making my house smell enough. As soon as the other is ready for jars I'll go cut her down. I'm thinking that will be some time over the weekend.
