Midwest Outdoors IV 2006 Season

Raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock here. At least its not cold. Hopefully it will get sunny and windy in the next day or so to dry everything out before they get chopped in the next couple of weeks. I will feel a lot beter as soon as they are hanging inside, protected by my 38 Colt.

Some very impressive buds here. Congrats to you all.

It's over for me. 13 plants...some hanging, some in paper bags, some trimmed and jarred, all of it pontooned.

Those are beautiful plants, oldsterone, what strains are they?

Nice purple budshot there, pez.

We just got over an inch of rain in the last few hours! Boy am i glad i cut off the thick head before all this! The buds definately have a pungent sour smell to them.

Nice Oldster! I wish my work was that far along, I'm hoping to get one more week, but if we get more rain coming after they dry from this one I will move my plans up a week. I have 13 or 14 also so we can compare notes when its all jarred up for the long winter nights!

Those Jamaican Jam look like some solid nugs. Never did get to enjoy any JJ seedless, but its offspring have been very good this year. We got over 2 inches of rain in the past 12-24 hours! Real glad i topped the biggen now. It would have been full of mold by this weekend. Delicious 2-3 toke...done herbs.:canabis:

Three weeks after harvest and things are starting to get a nice cure going. The bushy Kush x Papaya has had a very slight sweet mostly earthy taste from day one. So far the cure hasn't seemed to affect the taste at all on this one. In the last week the Green has really had a swing in smell and flavor that seemed very familiar to me, but I just couldn't place it... I took a couple buds of it over to a buddys where I knew a couple fellow growers would be, along with those who smoke nothing but the best they can get their hands on. After a fresh greeny for everyone most of them asked if it had some Blueberry in it along the lines. I have no answer to that question, but now that someone has mentioned it, blueberry is the smell/taste that was familiar that I couldn't place :joint:
Sorry, I'm really baked and very interested in this unknown plants possible background...

So who here will continue their work inside during the winter months?

Green

I got the girls out just in time, we have had rain for the last 3 days. Perfect timing this year!!! No rippers for the first time in about 3 years. :)

I'm a happy camper.

GO CARDS!!! WORLD CHAMPS!!!

Sounds like a great year from the midwest! How many of you will frequent this thread over the winter? I'll be working on new mothers for next spring (as i figure some of you will be doing) and would like to see how those of you who have now also moved indoors are doing.
It was a nice experience to have a group to go through the growing season with. Now that I have an outdoor season under my belt I hope to do some amazing things next year, with the help of mother nature, and once again from all of you.
