So whats good with everyone??

I just popped in to see how everyones buds were lookin. Smoked a few minutes ago and was talkin about growing with a friend, and I remembered about this thread. Havent checked back since all mine got killed by that 2 weeks of rain we had, and then by some ass that tore em out and threw em on the ground.

Oh well.. keep postin up the shots, theyre looking great. Heres the last remaining picture of mine from 2 years ago, the rest were on og..

EDIT- its really weird thinking about bud from 2 years ago. remembering good times that happened while smoking and growing those nugs that i completely forgot about otherwise..

We've just got about a quarter inch of rain, and there is under 30 degree weather ahead. This weekend may have to be the chop.

North Jam budshots.

i too am going to cover my babies for two nights forcast lows for tonight and thursday night are 25F and 29F after that it warms back up. I expect after this cold snap there will be two more weeks of good weather, which i need bad. good luck.

yea i wouldnt take a chance with more then 2 days of cold temps and rains as you can only keep the plants covered so long less you build a make shift green house or something for them

puresativa i remember from a past conversation we live in the same area, so what would clasify as "cold temps"? like the stuff were geetting this weekend? because i really, really, really, need more time, even if its just 5 days after the cold, i need it to stay in the ground.

I'm, definitely waiting through this snap, It seems I go through this every year, and if I wait they have always made it through it, then the next 2 weeks or so of warm weather makes them swell like a bitch! I did trim off about a 1/2 lb just before the rain started, no since being greedy ;) , but most of my girls are still in the ground.

Good luck to all,
Nickel

Did you grow those monsters Pure?

Next year I'm gonna have to try a couple later finishing plants. All of mine have been in jars for a couple weeks now...

Everyones plants are looking really great! I wish we could have a "Midwest Cannibus Cup" LOL

I would imagine a Tom Hill style grow here in the midwest would end up in a mold frenzy unless you had a very resistant or early strain or got lucky with consistant good weather.

Pure, must have been pretty cool seein nature's forces in action. Was it straight line winds or a tornado?

With all this wind and sun, it looks like mold probably won't be too much of an issue despite almost .3 inches of rain. It is pretty cool still though. Thinking of skippin the mold check this weekend. Anyone seein mold that got rain recently?

Checked one batch today and they were fine, no frost damage or mold. I agree the wind realy helped us out after the rain.

My thermometer said 32f this morning and I'm sure it was colder than that where my girls are, but they are tough bitches at this stage when it comes to cold weather. I plan to wait till at least the last week of Oct. if at all possible.

I decided to take the top from the biggest north jam because of the rain thats soon to come. Plus i was about out of smoke. The first harvsted north jams were delicious, got many compliments. Didn't have batteries when i went out to get the top so no shots. I'll get some batteries and shots soon.
