Boy you're up early, its only 2:45 here. I just got back a while ago from adding some promix w/ biofungicide to the holes, digging and mixing, and then putting a handfull of the promix on top of the hole where each plant will go . I plan on trying 2-4 plants per hole depending on hole size, most are 2 though. I know this may decrease yield/plant a little, but survivability should be better from more individuals, and the yield per area should be a little better. I have a limited "safe" area so i'm workin with what i have.

Lookin good pure, i'm debating on whether to start in promix in cups outdoors at a good buddy's or start directly in promix in the holes. I'm thinkin sowing directly in the holes, because its simpler, and they would be outside anyway if they were in cups.

My first North 1x Jamaican Jam came up this morning like i thought it would! No pic because it was still sort of bent over by the last time i saw it. I'll get a shot of it sunday.

2 out of 3 have came up so far. There was some fuzzy white mold on the surface of the media of the one that isn't up. Hopefully its still workin on its taproot. The bacterial biofungicide, in the promix, should protect the seedling from fungus infestation, so it should be ok.

Watch out for tomorrow night everyone, the temp. is supposed to dip down pretty low.

Temps down in the mid 30's last night and tonight, in my area, I brought the girls back in just in case it goes a little lower than that. This is why I always wait till mid May to put them in their permanent home. They can handle it in the fall when they are mature but these girls are still tender and I don't want to take the chance.

well hello there id thought id stop in with a few photos from my walk in nature today a nice 5 hour stroll thru the woods and down the tracks with my camera :)

these are the tracks i take to my plants :)

tire around a tree i found in the woods will later cut it off to let the tree actually breathe!

this is the sky view above my 11ft L x 8ft w x 3ft d hole, front and behind the hole and the hole itself ( half filled with black midwest dirt! )

a web full of catipilers i found on my walk pretty weird and interesting i thought :)

Thats nuts, both you and clayill got whorled plants this year, a rare event happening twice is very very rare. Must mean good luck.

Just to let you know that I have TWO whorled plants this year. :yoinks: From two DIFFERENT strains at that. One of my strain Cozmo and one of a strain called fruity pebbles from my area. I am hoping for a male from these to do some breeding. :woohoo: Looking good everyone and good luck this year!

Peace.............Clayill420

An 11 x 8 x 3 foot hole? That must have taken some time. It should pay off though, thats a pretty generous rootzone. How many seedlings do you plan on putting in there?

hmmz i dont really know how many plants will go in the hole, 10 would = 8.8 sq ft a plant and 20 would = 4.4 sq ft of root space see what im getting at all depends on big i want my plants to be and and how close to each other :D

yea but see i dont mind having 20 plant in one spot as its very secluded and there is no trail or way you could see the plants as i grew there last year with a smaller hole and it had 5 plants now i made it two or three times bigger and could put 10 more in there easily and not really worry :)

They wont be ready in July. About Mid Sept. is the earliest you should hope for, and only then if they are an early finishing strain.

Also depends on where you are, when the sun gets around 12-12 you will be getting close. For me its around the 1st or 2nd week of Oct. but I grew some C-99 last year and it finished the last week of Sept.
