Yea I agree, I get good money for my efforts, and I'm proud to say, that I'm growing quality stuff... funny how folks get greedy... I'd be HAPPY to take a 50% paycut if my endeavors were legal! :tiphat:

i don't understand why a thread about michigan's medical law being safe is full of people growing illegally in other states. and then those people are trying to say what they would do IF they were legal. well thats a big if guys. I try not assume how I'd react to situations I've never been in, so maybe you guys shouldn't either.

This thread needs to be closed, it is way off topic and definitely not what the OP intended.

judging by your album of theoretical grows... I'd say you're being way over compensated for your efforts, cause your herb looks bunk. you couldn't even get 3k for a bow of that right now in MI.

you probably never should have uploaded pics, cause it makes you look like more of a clown than your posts do.

Im a MI patient so please try again...you just complain amigo...michigan is a happy place...sorry if you are unable to keep up in a legal economy...i think this type of market is awsome in terms of gettng the patients the best gear for low numbers...plenty of room left for you to profit....hope you figure out how to...try by being a little nicer....

Hey guys, I'm in Mi. Just about to grow for myself as a patient/caregiver and for my wife who is also a patient and my caregiver... The way we did it was make ourselves both patients but have each other be our caregiver giving us the ability to have 10 ounces at once instead of 7.5. I'm worried that we're going to have overages... I grew years ago when i was young and free lol I know it's not hard to get over 10 ounces with a 1000 watt light... I'm curious to how one goes about getting rid of overages to dispensaries?

Do you just walk in with a case of bud or what lol... seems strange to me, but at the same time it seems like a huge waste to just destroy it.

haha. you must live in a sheltered part of michigan, cause last time I checked michigan is consistantly named one of the most depressed states in those studies conducted by social service agencies, not to mention also being in the top 5 every month and year for the last 10 years of highest unemployment rate in the country.

michigan is in desperate need of a shot in the arm to the economy. there is an established market. keeping the prices there would be more of a boost to the local economy. all of this illegally smuggled cali weed is driving down the market price, and sending the money out of state. no one that has been in an established market operating legally should have to sell their product for cheaper because of an influx of illegal out of state product. it has been a full 2 years of the law being in effect now. this price drop is in the last six months, when all of the cali greenhouse light deprivation crops started coming in.

mark it as curing. the trick is it's useable medicine. if it's curing, it's not useable. you can destroy it as needed, in whatever smoking apparatus you prefer. :comfort:

TMB i agree the state is hurting...this is a shot in the arm you speak of...i am also strongly against imports...i think it is the clubs job to keep that illigal gear out...i simply think there is plenty of room to make money with the price changes even...i think we are on the same page more than you think, i simply think that the market is reaching a saturation point that was a long time coming....i think its time people look at ways to better market their gear...anyways...gl to you an all MI growers

unfortunately a lot of clubs are responsible for bringing it in. very few have moved growers out here to produce their product. some try to front like they did, but most of it is the same old cali outdoor.

HAHA! Wow, I'm glad I un-ignored you for a second to see that cheap shot at me! LMFAO!! To see you post a pic of an out of focus ,un-baggied bud I took with my phone 3:15am is a far stretch to keep yourself in the "light of prestige" lmao:laughing: What a fucking joke...outta all the pics..you picked that one... hahaha... yes I really had fun laughin at you! :jump:Just stay tuned and wait for the new pics to be uploaded...

Wow, I'm impressed... I only THOUGHT you were a arrogant, greedy, piece of shit... you've now removed ALL DOUBT! :thank you:Well...back to the ignore list for you lil man... and it's definitely time to leave this thread...

I'm sorry to the OP, and others in this thread... I asked a very simple question.... seems the only person you actually "objected" so to speak, I guess felt that I would've been competition...sad really. I treat everyone fairly, and don't look at anyone as competition, as I said plainly in an earlier post; when you start worrying about profit margins, then either you're doing something wrong or your in it for the wrong reasons... plain and simple.

Though my endeavors are indeed illegal in my country, I still provide primarily to patients in need, folks who are tired of being controlled by prescription meds and the such. I get great $$ for all my efforts... I give my true med patients a great break for medicine, non med folks pay a good price. If I managed to get something going in a med state in the US, I'd go and grow for the legality, NOT the money...:tiphat:

Have fun attacking me TMB.. I know you will..sad, I won't see it:moon: If you thought those drought recovered plant pics were impressive, wait a couple weeks:)

I'm OUT! :Bolt:

yeah, you not even being in this country makes your opinion even less valid. what country are you in? you're not really in madagasgar. whats the economy like in your country? how do you find these "patients" if medical marijuana is illegal?

I've said it before. this thread needs to go. it's useless. Michigan didn't change the constitution, whoopie. Thread over.

i think what most people were trying to say is that the clubs will take the 200-250 trash and sell it for 20/gram over buying quality product and giving there customers good medicine... its a business decision and i understand it... but when clubs show me some of there "good" weed that is trash that i would scoop up off the grow room floor and try and tell me this is the best shit in town... i laugh... Club owners are either greedy dumb or just dont care about there customers....

i for one dont sell shit for under 300 and can sell everything i can grow... there are very few clubs that will pay for quality they will be the ones controlling things down the road and thats where ill be... Sooner or later all these ex drug dealers will be booted out of business once real clubs come around with real medicine..

right now the patients are ill informed and dont know the difference between trash and good weed when they figure it out alot of clubs will go down hill...

^Dude knows WTF he's talkin' about. He's here, he's queer and he's in the clubs, lol. He's not queer though....he just gave me a beautiful Son. ;) Poopy knows the ins and outs of what's goin' on here in Michi....he's got a lot of hands on experience with the market right now. How he said it is, is how it is.....These club owners are just ex drug dealers and the bad clubs WILL be weeded out in the future. There are a couple good clubs in our area, but just a couple.

Jumping into this debate a little late... just read every page. I'm not going to attack anyone personally, everyone here is making some valid points. First off I'm just happy MI is a med state now. If your someones caregiver you can grow 12 plants... If your growing commercially you should at least be getting 36oz every 3 months or so off that 1 patient. Charging 300$ for extra meds does seem greedy.. 1 oz a month is kinda a joke for lots of medical patients.

I also agree that when it comes to outsourcing for pot... its like every kind of job in Michigan, it's up to us the consumer to demand local products, just because its marijuana and not fruits and veggies or local construction companies, we need to fight outsourcing as a united party in all areas, esp when MI's economy is what it is. As far as the "ignorant" consumer who doesn't know good quality from poor, it should only take a few samples of superior quality weed grown properly to make anyone even those 80 IQers start demanding better product. I've been growing in Michigan for years, and going from selling at 400a zip illegally, id take half any day to be doing it mostly legal. At least getting caught growing a legal amount of plants now, wont get everything you own taken away. But higher profit is always better, greed is the downfall of most though.

As far as the debate about getting a "REAL job". My only concern with not having a 9-5 is all the people out there, with no job on the books... filing no taxes or little taxes... spending 2grand a week even buying 20,000$ cars and making all kinds of payments on stuff. How can people think they can get away with that? Or am i missing something when it comes to that aspect.

One last thing. This may be ignorant on my part but i'm still learning the ins and outs of the legal aspects that come with being a card holder.

this sounds like an excellent idea... with how vague the laws are would this hold up in court? just curious.
