Shit! I don't know what to say dude, I have read on Ic somewhere that there is a specific plastic hose that when used in a heated environment can omit a poison that effects the plants essentially poisoning the pants, the same happens with cheap grow tents.

Either way the grow looked pukka in the beginning, lets just hope you can salvage your investment and make a little drink on top.

Someone will have seen the thread I am on about with the poisonous pipes.


When I said I can see it I was referring to I can see it happening in a system like this, not that you had missed anything however I would expect healthier growth from soil and that the foliage in soil would be reaching for the lights which is always a good healthy sign.

Thanks Krunch, this is a great thread. You are obviously a man of integrity and deserve lots of respect for posting the truth.

This thread started on 8/23 and you are at almost 90 days and are at the same point where you started. We all know you are a good grower and I've learned a lot from your posts in the past.

I don't know much about medman and certainly won't shit talk him or his system. I liked the idea of it so I did my own research and couldn't find any finished grows on these tables. I saw Medman posted there are some so maybe I missed them somehow.

My opinion is that that is a lot of time and money to spend with zero results. You could have paid a premium price for a system and if you yielded a half pund per light it would be more profitable than what has happened so far.

You are a great grower and have nothing to prove. I personally think its the system and not the grower. I would look at your pics on 8/23 and look at your most recent pics and think about why you're still considering doing this.

Found a home in my greenhouse for the 4 remaining Grape Ape's that I was going to throw away...

Dipped the roots in a bleach solution before transplanting and will hit it with a weak bleach/nutrient solution for the next couple weeks...

hey guys lighten up, im running mm tables right now and aside from some ra which i took care of theyre wrking out fine.the system is not for a beginer,if u want to take your time do soil or coco but these tables provide explosive growth and if u follow his system it wrks.the initial dark phase does no harm to the plant and i challenge anybody to prove me wrong, ive been doin it in soil,coco,and now tables.

light is a very important environmental factor, giving plants extended periods under darkness (24 hours and above) is just asking for trouble.

this is just more 'stoner lore'...

and if people really want to be taken seriously with those '3 days of darkness' claims, the burden of proof is on them; fact is, in nature, no plant is provided with 3 days of darkness and no plant is adapted to such arbitrary scenario.

I say you and anyone that says this system is anything but pure garbage is full of shit. Krunch has PROVEN he knows how to grow a fucking plant on the moon with a dixie cup and a stick of bubblegum and if he couldn't get this shitty system to perform then there is no amount of lipstick you can put on that pig to make it any different. Saying that the system is not for beginners is a fucking cop out when there are beginners out there killing it on their first runs without this shitty Canadacrap system. What did "med man" claim? There were a whole 2 or 3 successful runs? 2 or 3? How does that kind of shitty statistic even qualify as a viable grow system?

I have done 24 hours of dark at the beginning of flower in coco. The only thing it did was speed up bud set by about a week.

Yes I have even tried Bing as a last resort and there isn't shit about these "award winning" tables. First it was Brian Adams, then Celine Dion, then came Justin Bieber, and now these fucking tables. The list of shit Canada needs to start apologizing for is getting bigger by the year.

There are many ways to maximise the crop potential but basically you need to 'optimise' the cultural conditions.

Allowing plants to utilise what is available to them, and not have anything residual hanging about to mess them up and confuse things.

Plants have a day clock that is as advanced as it gets, this enables them to use what they stored up in the light cycle to fuel the dark cycle.

The plant clock can determine within 5 minutes when the light is due back, it will run as low as 5% worth of the stored reserves during the dark to replace it at sunrise. If this 5% runs out it spells trouble.

A few days worth of dark is reducing this optimisation and so it is of no benefit. Saying that plants started faster is unfounded especially without a comparison to which the light schedule is reduced diurnally on a separate crop.

I know fact that leaving the lights on for 24 hours has an effect on the plants in the 3-4 weeks of flower production when they are putting it on.

This extra light has the ability to maximise uptake and give more ATP stores thus benefitting the plants with much needed energy @ peak flower which has the most effect on the bottom line.

This day clock the plants have can notice the extra available light and utilise it to great effect producing more ATP, Providing the plants grown are stable and 'Pistillate' the plants won't stress if placed back into a 12 hour darkness after 24 hours light and left to use up what they stored in the long days. It is really no different to naturally occurring photoperiods in places with short days.

In places with these short day photoperiods people plant out to flower in spring and also again for when the season shortens. "In Jamaica they do this all year round"

These people know that the temperature and the available light make the difference between the shwag and the 'hi-grade'.
