Smoke enough of stardawg an you'll think everyone is watching....... not just big brother!!

Corey always amazes me. had a nice run with her. I changed around some parts of the feed schedule this time around. Her colas weren't as large as usual, but i had some nice light green colors an alot of orange hues(not pistols) that come thru in which i've never witnessed before. I almost thought she was a different plant.

New obsession ... building light control boxes. Version 2.0 i hardwired in overheat protection to shut down lights if room goes above setpoint. i choose 90 right now. even thou 82 is usually max.

crazy weather swings makes the minisplits act up a little in certain outdoor temp ranges. this room for instance doesnt like outdoor temps 35-45 out. works great above or down to 5degf. found it necessary. had one room hit 126deg!!!! ouch.... not anymore!!

Nice call on the temp protection, im a big fan of Waterbugs (brand) (water sensor), simple thing with open contacts that shorts when water hits 'em. Floods and power scare the crap out of me, obviiusly nothing should be near the ground powerwise anyway if you can help it, but still. Neat work!

good find rusty....i checked those out, similar to the ones i got from plumbing supply dot com, or was it plumbers supply, i forget. "leakcontroller" is the name on mine. an for only $80 the leakcontroller will actually shut the water supply off & then beep, no power needed other then 4 aa batteries. they only come with 1/4 & 3/8ths lines, was hoping to find a 1/2" model for the supply feed to the ro system. seen a couple for $200, stuff for laundry room leaks etc. other then the main feed inlet........ 3/8ths or 1/8th will do for now. installing a 275gal ro water tote holding tank now..... unit will have a shurflow external pump hard plumbed to feed ro to 3 different rooms. auto top offs an humidification misters

water or fire scares keep me up at night...

That things pretty sweet. I never saw something like that all in one. 1/2 would be really sweet, then adapt down if needed. I use the waterbugs in conjunction with a winland enviroalert. Onboard dry relay outputs for humidity, water, and temp alarms, that you can you to trigger whatever you want.

The Striper run right up the Conn River and into the Westfield River.
I was fishing an Azuri herring imitation lure in the Westfield River for smallmouth and big brownies, when a 43 lb striper hit my lure.
I had 12 lb test and it was in a faster current. WHAT A FIGHT!!!
Took about 25 - 30 mins to get him to shore. My line was stretched out and toast after that fish. My drag gears were actually hot. LOL!
Ill never ever forget that fish.

Had two more hit my lures after that fish, but my line would break like nothing.
Went and spooled back up with fresh line and bought a few more lures, went back down there, but the fish moved on up river somewhere and I didnt catch another.
Must have been in the right place at just the right time. Never expected an ocean fish in the Westfield River. LOL! That was a shock! Thats how I found out that striper run up here.

Hi Overgrow..I am a little farther south down the CT River from you. My dads favorite place to fish for stripers was an 8 mile river better known for trout. He caught a 36 lb Striper on a Repala in @ 20 ft wide section of this river..Loved hearing about your hook up..peace

she was hydro. been running the ppk systems with pretty good luck so far. those systems were setup last visit. 3.5g bucket ontop of bucket with a hole cut into lid. top bucket has the 3"pvc wick that lowers into the bottom bucket. top drip recirculating with a passive wick. easy shit....by far the most stable hydro i've ever ran to date.

be well.

Creek next week. Hoping to get a site by the river, but probably won't get there earlier enough for that.

I went to a Max Creek show in Washington Mass and was given 3 drops of pure, clean, liquid acid into my palm. Smoked lots of great bud, drank lots of beer, and danced all night with hippie chicks.
It got cold at night so this girl put her arm around me and I used her armpit hair as a scarf.
Great night all-around! I would do it again 20 years later....without the acid this time though. Too old for that now.

Besides the fact that the herb was superb, the fellow growers i hung with made my trip a great time.
Hats off to the skills, and hospitality of those i met.
