Notes for myself (to add to next and subsequent updates):

The ladies:

Miss SSSTN (big pheno)
showed sex at day 32 (see page 5)
Miss SSSTN (little pheno) showed sex before day 63 (see page 9)

Miss Grail (Indica pheno) showed sex at day 32 (see page 5)
Miss Grail (NLD pheno) showed sex at day 42 (see page 7)

Miss Thai Madness 1 showed sex at day 42 (see page 7)
Miss Thai Madness 2 showed sex before day 56 (see page 7)

The gents:

Mr Grail showed sex at day 42 (see page 7)
Mr ThaiFrican showed sex at day 32 (see page 5)

Of the crosses, from the parents, maybe the fastest to show flower should be:
Miss SSSTN (big) x Mr ThaiFrican
Miss Grail (indica) x Mr ThaiFrican

Hard to say about the slowest to show flower, as the small SSSTN was something of a runt and took a while to get going, and both the Thai Madness were heavily stunted all along.
And now that I think of it, the ThaiFrican male was probably only faster because they didn't have the seedling pots restricting them at the start.
This line of reasoning isn't very accurate, haha!
Though the bigger SSSTN and Grail (indica) had similar conditions to the other females, so are suggestive of faster flower onset.

Was a nice sunny day today, barely a cloud to be seen.
Temps up to about 22C with the usual wind.
Next couple of days just below 20C with maybe a shower of rain.
Then back up to low-mid 20s C and sunny.
For the 10 days after that, daytime highs of around +/- 20C, overnight lows around 15C.
Not much rain forecast, though alternating between sunny and cloudy.

Glad to see that cold snap a couple of weeks ago was not the winter standard weather.
Let these girls keep getting plenty of sunshine and not too cold.
Have to keep building their frames and packing on more space for the big flower bloom to come.

Must remember to bring a bit of fine dolomite lime and maybe some kelp meal next visit.
There are flowering amendments in a bag on site that have been breaking down in the rain for some time.
The 3-5-5 has maybe a bit more N than I'd like, but they still have at least 4-6 weeks to go.
So keeping their fans green and healthy is good for now, need that photosynthesis to grow those flowers!

Day 83 -- from sprouting!

7 days since last picture update and visit.
Weather has been quite nice with a fair amount of sun, highest up to maybe 22C and lowest maybe 13C overnight.
A bit of sun, a bit of cloud, a little rain a couple of days ago.

As they've been in flower for a month, give or take, and there were some Ca/Mg def signs on the Grails,
I decided to give them another (possibly the last?) top-dressing.
This included a dose of dolomite lime, kelp meal and some dry extra Ca general organic nutrients,
plus a few big handfuls of the 3-5-5 organic amendments mixed into mostly worm castings that I have on site.
Also a dose of the Jacks/Peters (eyeballed the PPM at less than 500) mainly for the extra and immediate Ca and Mg.
Yes, I know that makes it not a proper organic grow, but when you're a guerilla grower, you do what works -- don't judge me, haha!

There was a bit of foot traffic around the side entrance, but I found that the old main gate is now able to be opened wide enough for skinny me to squeeze through, haha!!

Building Two:

2 X Grail Project NH18 x MM pheno 1
(reg) = (NH18 x MM pheno 1) x (NH21 x MML Male) (12-16 weeks)
In a 15L pot.
Last pollination day 69, 14 days / 2 weeks ago.

Here's the NH x MM Grail Family:

Just finishing her stretch and now starting to show a little more size in the flowers, with calyxes developing.
Aromas starting up with her now.

Miss Grail (indica pheno): Day 83 = 32V + 51F

You just know this is going to be one amazing bud-plant!!

Building One:

2 X Thai Madness (fem) = Swiss Thai Nevil 2 clone x (NH21 x MML clone Reversed) (11-14 weeks?)

Last pollination on Day 56, 27 days ago (almost 4 weeks).
Let's just show some pics of these two girls with lots of seeds growing in there.

PXL_20240106_065337197.jpg

Thai Madness 1 : Day 83 = 42V + 41F

I could pretend that I flushed her to bring out her fade, but I would be lying -- she's just a bit old and nearing the end of life.

PXL_20240106_065406554.jpg

Thai Madness 2 : Day 83 = 56V + 27F

Still quite green and throwing out pistils, but it's not like she's going to grow into anything other than a tiny bud-let of seeds, hehe.

Day 83 -- from sprouting!

Building Two:

2 X Super Silver Sour Thai Nevil (fem) = Swiss Thai Nevil 1 clone X SSSDH OJD cut Reversed (10-12 weeks?)
In a big 20L pot.
Last pollination day 69, 14 days / 2 weeks ago.

Oh my god, I love this plant!!! She is amazing!!
Actually, two plants in this pic, Big Miss SSSTN is most of the pic but in the foreground Little Miss SSSTN.

PXL_20240106_065742411.jpg

Stretch may have finally ended at about 75cm tall = 30".
But she's filling out sideways now, with a couple of good lower branches showing themselves strongly.

Because she is leaning south for the sun, and I've positioned the Little one facing the sun, thought I'd try to tie back the Big girl a little bit to the north to open the space.
I didn't bring anything to do that with, and tried some plastic that I found on site.
But the plastic was quite dirty and I didn't want dirt up near the flowers in case it became a starting point for something nasty, so removed it.
Must try to remember to bring something good to tie her back next visit though, as I think a little north bending LST for the big girl will benefit both of them in terms of light exposure on the flowers.

With her two biggest lower branches building up nicely.

Whole plant from a the side and the top:

PXL_20240106_070523430.jpg

Little Miss SSSTN: Day 83 = 63V (?) + 21F

She's really getting into her stretch now, all three-leaflet main fans up top with many more to come.
I think she has at least another week or two, or three, of stretch.
Didn't measure on site, but I'm guessing she's a good 40-50cm (16"-20") long, with another 30+cm (12"+) to come at least.
While she's in front (facing south) of her big sister and growing more sideways than upwards, she may easily end up with a main stem as long as her big sister.
She has a little knuckle from the last LST, so I gave her some more, laying her out sideways towards the sun.

PXL_20240106_065834904.jpg

You can see she also has the red petioles like the Grail NLD pheno.
Maybe it's also from the Neville's Haze that they both share?

PXL_20240106_065838673.jpg

At 63 days (9 weeks) of veg from a shaded out near runt of a plant, to now really hitting her stride.
Could be one of those cases where the last and slowest plant ends up being the hugest of the garden.
I hope so, another lovely SSSTN girl at good size would be amazing!

From the side with better background:

PXL_20240106_070233763.MP.jpg

Both of these SSSTN girls have thin but strong and flexible main stems.
The wind is strong here, really strong at times, but they just bend and flex, no problem.
Delicate sativa girls all the way.

@ojd you have made an amazing cross here, if my half-assed no budget guerilla grow in the middle of winter can have ladies like this in my garden!!

Namo Shivaya!

Fun, fun, fun!

Love and hugs,
~MJS

Looking great, Maria!
Love you detailed guerilla grow log!
Hey @AceHaze !
Thanks for the kind words of support. I try to put in a lot of information, because I love that when reading others' grows.
People growing the same strain cultivar or same conditions want to know that stuff to improve their own grows, like light hours, pot size, fertilization program, time to show sex, grow patterns, etc.
Today I'm looking at a few other SSSTN grows here, comparing progress, getting an idea of when mine will finish. Looks like mid to late Feb at this rate.

Subtropical outdoor guerilla grow with Connoisseur Genetics

Thanks to @ojd 's amazing generosity with the prize from September's pick a number game, I just received today this fabulous little gift in the post.

View attachment 18899592

With options from the whole Connoisseur menu, I've gone with the following selection, some regs some fems, mostly long-flowering haze types, including a lot of the Nevil's Haze X Mullumbimby Madness crosses, the Swiss Thai Nevils, and the ever-famous prize-winning Super Silver Sour Diesel Haze.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Nevil Schoenmaker’s Grail Project (Regular seeds).
Produced from Nevil's legendary Grail project RIP 🙏, the last project Nevil released before he passed.
We owe alot to Nevil for helping build the Canna scene to what it is today and many world famous clones or strains stem from Nevil's work 🙏.

7. NH18 x MM pheno 1 = (NH18 x MM pheno 1) x (NH21 x MML Male) (12-16 weeks)

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Nevil Schoenmaker’s Grail Project (Feminized seeds).
Produced from Nevil's legendary Grail project RIP 🙏, the last project Nevil released before he passed.
We owe alot to Nevil for helping build the Canna scene to what it is today and many world famous clones or strains stem from Nevil's work 🙏.

3. Thai Madness = Swiss Thai Nevil 2 clone x (NH21 x MML clone Reversed) (11-14 weeks?)

(Swiss Thai Nevil 2 = Lime, Lemon , Church , much clearer Pure Sativa High and more classic Thai Terps/High)

-------------------------------------------------------------------
SSSDH OJD Project (Feminized seeds).
OJD's legendary SSSDH cut from Reservoir Seeds Original seed release over 15 years ago

7. Super Silver Sour Thai Nevil = Swiss Thai Nevil 1 clone X SSSDH OJD cut Reversed (10-12 weeks?)

(Swiss Thai Nevil 1 = more spicy, Incense, Church, Frankincense and potent mind warping High, more Nevil Haze leaning)

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Nevil Haze 23 x Kariba (African Sativa) Hybrid Project (Regular seeds).
This project used a selected Nevil Haze 23 x Kariba ( African Sativa) Male from Nevil's Grail project strain NH23 x Kariba and hit to a bunch of OJD's clones. The NH23 x Kariba Female winner (unfortunately not used in this line) was a really special lady. Extreme amazing spicy Frankincense smell/taste, maybe the most Frankincense from the whole Grail project Nevil made from the strains tried, and very potent unique up High. The Male was selected to mirror the Female with it giving up Frankincense terps in vegative on stem rubs etc and same growth/leafs traits.

6. ThaiFrican = Outback Haze 2 clone x (Nevil Haze 23 x Kariba Male) (10-12 weeks)

According to this post here, https://www.icmag.com/threads/australian-outback-feminized-seed.18122824/post-18134559:
Outback Haze = Hempys Thai/ NH21 x NH36 Reversed

So:
ThaiFrican = ((Hempy's Thai x NH21) x NH36 rev) x (NH23 x Kariba).

Makes it 62.5% NH (21, 26 and 23), 12.5% Thai and 25% Kariba.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Dankincense Project (Regular seeds.)
This project uses my strain Dankincense ( Nevil Haze 23 x Kariba African x Original Diesel) choosing a heavy NH23 x Kariba African from Nevil's Grail project RIP 🙏. The NH23 x Kariba strain produces insane Incense/Frankincense Terps/phenos and an amazing 3rd Eye High , opening your eyes up to the Amazing Terps/Highs that a special Haze can deliver.
10. Lemon N Lime Incense = Lemon N Lime Jones (Casey Jones x SSSDH) X Dankincense (10 weeks)

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Correction: Originally thought I had "Lemon N Lime Incense" from the Dankincense Project.
But the bag says "Lemon N Lime Jones", and I'm guessing the bag label should be correct. @ojd ??

Lemon N Lime Jones = Casey Jones cut x SSSDH cut reversed (8-10 weeks)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

One of the SSSTN seeds was crushed in shipping, but the regs all have an extra bean in the bag, so have absolutely nothing to complain about. All the seeds look beautifully mature, deep browns with their stripes still attached. The Lemon n Lime Jones seeds are very large, as are the calyxes on this cross. The Swiss Thai cross seeds are a little smaller, as usual with the Thai cultivars.

Love and hugs,
~MJS
Amazing keep exciting us!!! I envy you!! Wish I had 1-2 of your seed collection ha ha

Hope your complicated isn't too dangerous.
Take care, stay safe, and grow the herb!
Thanks… I am in Iran so we have sanctions…however very shortly I will be growing a few seeds of my own creation (first time trying to make fem seeds out of best genetics I had my hands on), and any feedback or advice from a gardener such as yourself would be an honor

Awesome. Iran has a long history of hash plants, doesn't it?
Nice dry climate with plenty of sun, sounds perfect to me.
I'm no master gardener, but if you tag me in a journal I can share some thoughts on your garden.

Yes exactly Maria,
IMO this region is behind all the great Kushes. Iran, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Pakistan, Tajikistan….the list is quiet long… They have the best indicas and tapping in that has huge potential…I am trying at a very slow pace to identify psychedelic Indica phenos in Iran and one they create that ultimate shroomy weed ha ha ha
Can you kindly teach me how to tag

Last few days were a bit cooler, night time lows and daily highs around 11C to 17C, but quite sunny.
Next few days are highs of 20C to 24C, with lots of sunshine, UV index up to 5 or 6.
And forecast for the next ten+ days all over 20C highs with plenty more sun to come.
January to February and even March are the driest months of the year.
Will need to keep the watering up, but I think they can last 7-10 days with no rain in these pots.
The weather at least is shaping up very nicely for mid to late flowering period.

☀️☀️☀️

In other news, haha, the front gate now has a big chain and lock on it!
Looks a little loose, and not sure if it still opens enough for me to fit through -- I doubt it, though!
Guess that will keep everyone else out, and I'll use the 'jungle' gate for visits.

Hey Maria and all

Have just amended my soil with the dry amendment mix I like plus coarse ground brown rice + millet. Now it has to sit and develop for 10 - 14 days.

On 20th January I will soak the ACE beans, 21 January they go into their 2l pots. (Auspicious time for sowing seeds lunar wise).
TaiChi, Honduras x Panama, New Caledonia

Will post some pics once they get going.

:plant grow:
It's the highlight of your weekend viewing, right?
Actually I enjoy following your grow adventures 👍🏼

To be totally honest when I came across your plan of growing in the derelict buildings in the jungle I was hoping you would also post pics of the buildings in their jungle setting.
I guess because of stealth and the current laws where you're at that's not in the cards.

🙏🏼
