 GMT glad i cld remind u of yr tv bud lol and great efficiency there with buds beans and reveg all in one. triple whammy for the tri foliate grower eh ;)

My projects ,well soon i can get veg space for the pursuit of a male plant or two to choose for a pollon donor hehe. Both my branch cuts took and are potted and veggin along now, so half of it is in place ready to go when a male appears :woohoo:
Installed a cooltube with 400w so shld be able to get some bigger buds next round, and free's up the envirolite for me to possibly make a smaller bean making cab :woohoo: so , so far so good
 take it easy

Hey TML, yeah, there aren't really many ways to do it. Glad ya like the thread, its got a homely feel rather than a show feel I think.
Kooki, sounds like you're hooked now. Stand up and repeat after me, My name's kooki, and I'm addited to growing bud.
Thanks Garlic. I could call the next thread "nothing to it", but I reckon I'd get some stick for that. I tried really hard to be good with those seeds, but I had to put a couple in soak. May even be too soon for em yet, but if they dont sprout in the next 10 days, it'll be too late for em to make the last round of the season. I keep squeezing one more round in before calling it a day for the summer.
Here's that tri of mine. The one I cut back too early, just leaving one small tri branch on the tri girl. Well I gave her some longer light hours, and repotted her, giving her branch more time to develop before going into full on flower mode, then topped the end when she got too developed lol. Now the tops are at eye level.

Hiya GMT
My oh my - I step away to go to the loo ( Ok, the loo was far away  ) and look at the largess of kindness growing in your garden! Congrats on the seed - quite a treat to have fresh genetics mixed to personal taste :yummy: And I must say you have quite the way with the trifol ladies - they grow sexy and bushy no matter the chosen growing style. Tops at eye level - dayum!

I went real lazy on this grow..didn't even lay eyes on um for 4 days at a time..give um water or feed..move um around a bit..then forsake them for another 4 days..
Pretty much same results as when I dote on um..maybe better in the long run..
because I forced them (flushed & stripped soil early) to consume the nutrients in their leaves in the end this time..which I've found produces a smoother, tastier end result..
I lose a little yield this way..but quality seems to go up..just a quick "ello Governor"..I'll be back..

Hi MGJ, thanks, the tri thing is going better than I've posted actually, I'll update that at some point. Hope everything is cool at your end.

Hi TML, yeah she is big, but quite slow in flower develpoment, hope she doesn't end up too skinny, or the plans in using her seeds will be cancelled. The tri thing will have to take a side step in that case. I do have a plan B, that I'll unviel at some point.

Hi Packn, good to see you around. Yeah the timing needs to be right, but I agree that less nutes in the final bud creates a more natural and pleasent taste.

Hi all, just a quick update on how the garden is going. First off, not sure if it was the extended flower time for the seeds to finish up on her or if it was something else I did, but the Smokey Girl reveg has taken a sad turn, she is dead. Cant even remember what cross she was, or I'd plant and look for a replacement. At least I have some seeds from her. The bruised nuts girl had a few buds pollinated from her offspring, the tri male I'm using on the tri girl. Oh she also had some buds pollinated. I also have a backup tri male that I'll also pollinate her with in about 10 days. So that's that tri line continued. I started some seeds from the other tri line too. Now have some tri seedlings from that line to work with. The 2 lines are the bruised nuts line (tri H) which is the Blueberry/Orangebud/Blackdomina/?/AG13/Petrolia Headstash/ IBL line, and the other line which took the same path, but instead of getting the black domina cross, that line got an orangebud backcross. So I have the Bruised Nuts IBL and OBO Nuts IBL line, although both lines are only at F2 stage so far, and the bruised nuts seeds will be a Bruised Nuts Bx. Sorry thats more for me that you folks, just keeping myself on track so I can find what I've done easily. Take it easy all, Pics when numbers are a little lower lol.

Oh yeah, I've just read back in my thread to find I planted Blockhead and rhino f2s, the blockhead didnt sprout, and I killed the rhino f2s as they were to mutated even for my tastes. Couldn't be arsed giving them care and attention. The smokey girl seeds were to close to popping from the pod to sprout. And they are too late for the pre summer break grow now, so they'll have to wait until autumn. Right I thinks thats everything.

hi Core,
post 389 shows their background. No real meaning to it, just what the naming principles demand. Something to denote genetic heritage. The bruised refers to the orange blue and black and the nuts to reefermans nutcruncher (the AG13xPetrolia headstash) part.
Yeah, the latest seeds would be ok to plant now, but I dont want to test them in summer temps. And the others were just out of interest.

 GMT I have a question for you? I have an airbourne G-13 that I found some nanners and what looks like a few seeds developing.

Do you think these seeds will be any good?

Thanks

hmm, a quick question in return Garlic, sure its a genuine AG13? Deffo worth growing them out, as even if the majority hermie on you, if you can find one solitary pure male amongst them, you can do the perfect backcross and create a decent AG13 seed line. And that is deffo worth looking into. May not work out for you. I wouldnt dedicate a whole grow cycle on it just in case, but as a side experiment, very interesting.

GMT I am 100% sure it's pure I got it from very reliable source.

If I can find a true pure male , I think some beans might make their way over the pond to you. I have seen how mush you like MGJ's and I have the same cut.

Thanks

If you know the source to be reliable, then that's great. I wonder about club cuttings, never having been to one living on this side of the pond. If you get any success Garlic, then those seeds would be a very welcome addition, thank you. Not many folks I'd say that to either not having a safe addy ;)

We will have to wait and see GMT??? When I saw tehm this morning you were the first person I thought of!!!

I saw how much you liked it in MGJ's grow and figured if at all possible I would share with a fine grower like you.

Thanks

Hi GMT

Just reading the update. Where have you been lately? I think you linked me to another thread but I dont know which one it was. Forgive a stoner LOL

LOL, Hi Damak,
well I'm trying to only update when there's something to actually update, or answer, so that's cutting the post numbers down. Also pics when seedling numbers are high, pre choice, looks bad I think. I prefer to post a small number of plants rather than a high number. I still have a lot of tri babies to cull, just trying to let a few phenotypical differences show, before selecting the ones that get to go beyond the third node. At the moment they are on 1st node preparing the second. Still tough to make selections at this stage, so I've only killed a few identicle ones off. No point in keeping duplications (even though its impossible to tell what diffs they would have shown later on). I did do the 3+3 thread, but only posted in it once I think. Mayas well wait until theres a full update for that thread. This is the more chatty thread.
