Lazy Growing

hehe, yeah good memory, Pon Far, forgot about that.
Welcome to the thread Giveadog,

Well I havent done any pics for a while. You all know what my bruised nuts girl looks like, no point posting more pics of her. Her Daughter though, my trifoliar mum to be used, here she is:

She leaned into the light and now bends right over to get her head under the hood level which is offset rather than above her and over the bruised nuts girl. 2 of her tops are almost at 90 degrees and look like branches in that pic.
Now the other tri line, the OBOnuts. Which really does need a better name but I know what it is if I keep calling it that. Plenty killed off, and another 1/3 of these have also been killed off now, as numbers were too high. Still need to kill more, then sex em. Just abit worried about killing of too many for abvious reasons.

Hiya GMT
:yoinks: Your trifoliar used-ta-be mum is all grown up! Gorgeous amazon you have on your hands:yes: Hmmm - she needs a date for the prom...

Are you culling out the OBOnuts to a certain max number of plants or are you pulling them on another basis? :canabis:

Hi MGJ, well I want, 2 trifoliars (1 of each sex) that display as different a pheno type as possible while still being the trifoliate pheno. I'm now selecting phenos within phenos. The BN line is being done for similarities, thick stems wide leaves etc, but this line I want to try the reverse. So I took the stretchiest out, leaving 2 stretchers, and took the 2+1 leaf formations where 2 leaves are at 180 degrees and one at 90 degrees, almost like a quad with a leaf missing, but left 2 of them. There are some with 2 larger leaves and one smaller, and some with 2 smaller and one larger. And of course there are some with 3 equal leaves in the perfect 120 degree formation. I want one or 2 of each pheno at this stage to watch them grow. Numbers are also a real issue, and at some point I'll have to make further selections.
Thanks Alex, POTM tend to be bud pics, preferably pumped up with steroids, and preferably with the seeds about to be sold or already on sale, but thanks for the thought :). Yeah I think I am heading in the right direction, the question is still tri x tri makes what seeds? Been asking that for a while now, We get the reults when I start up again in september.

Ah one other method of selection MGJ, some of the plants grow tap roots, that are nice and strong and reach for the bottom, others produce a finer net of roots, with no tap root, I would really like to use one of each for parentage.

erm, hmm, now I have to admit, no, give it a push for me will ya Alex? About what?

Yeah I noticed you were jetting off again in another thread, we need a smiley in a jet plane just for you the hollidays you take. Have fun in the sun mate. Dont leave me hanging on this penny thing while you're away will ya. And watch out for those giant birds while your out there, never been myself, just assuming due to the name of the place.

I meant the POTM thing :D

It's not the big birds, but probably rather the large chests of said birds  :biglaugh:

hehe, lol, ah yeah, forgot about that. Yeah I found it searching, thank you for that nomination Alex, appreciated. I get baked and then think, now what, more often than not, its to sign on here. Often causes me much confusion. Big chests, ah, Grand, I understand it now lol.

Hi Damak, lol oh ok, if you insist. I kinda figure that peeps wont want to see the same cut again in flower, but I'll see what I can do. Just takes ages to move em to the camera then to here. Didnt realise more pixels had so many drawbacks lol. I'll do some later and get them up tonight. You are right about me wasting this new cam.

Dude people love to see the pics especially its progression. Dude for me it is the same as being in a strip club.

Plus I cant stand reading cause I dont understand what certain things mean. Honestly have a cyst in my brain and its hard at times to focus on words. Pics or much easier for me.

Now that being said, can I help in some way with your pics? Do you have a slow connection perhaps is that it? Or could it be what I ran into. My pics use to take forever to upload then I started resizing them to 800x600 then uploading. Much easier but if you have a poor upload speed I understand no worries mate. But if it is just you beleiving peeps dont want to see the same plant your wrong I do.

I know the bruised nuts girl doesnt look well, but she doesnt start with many leaves, and I like to starve her as it gives her a great taste.
The tris are growing up slowly under very low light, I have no room in the flower chamber yet, and have to cull a few more first.
Anyway, the thread is all caught up now.

Looking great GMT and thank you my friend for putting that cam to use.

Your plants look lovely. Are they in coco or soil? Hard to tell by the pic.

Buds look good too and is that lazy growing? No nutes?

I must say I have not added any nutes on mine and they are doing well. I did buy the soil that had ferts in it already though. My lazy growing is doing great IMO.

Hi Damak, everything is in soil, only one plant has been fed. I know it breaks all my rules, but I'm heavily seeding the big tri girl and dont want the seeds to suffer in the way I make the buds I'm smoking suffer. The pics just posted are all lazy grown, nice compost to start, and add water to seeds or cuts, until taking buds. The big girl that I fed was fed with a small spoon of miracle grow in 2 litres of water, and has been fed twice now. She has more than enough greenery left though, so wont be fed again. Glad your lazy growing is going well, cant wait to see what diff you think it makes to the final taste, if any.

Thanks Core. Yeah I reckon it is travelling in the right direction. Taking ages though. Prob need to be at least 3 or 4 more generations. So prob not next year but the year after. Fingers crossed.
