Thanks guys, there are so many options to set up its gonna take ages to know which is best in which conditions, they just dont think of us when it comes to presets. I'm not taking it underwater, so 3 presets are wasted, I dont phoograph food, another one gone, no museum pics, or behind glass shots, what I would like but dont have yet is hps lit macro, flouro lit macro, bud shots for both lighting conditions and a group shot option. It does let you set up your own options, for aperature, speed and a bunch of other stuff thats beyond me right now, and store them. So I just need to get it all spot on once and keep the settings. I guess the thread will start to get picture rich for a bit. Quantity till qualaty.

Holy cow man, I'm jealous!!! Haven't found a reasonable way to get macro shots like that with my cam, superbo my friend! Really nice, that smokey is maturing quickly - that's amazingly phat for 30 days flower!

yeah but what i really wanted was crystal clear pics showing detail in group shots, but with pics auto resizing to 600x800 that isnt going to happen. So anoying.
We need a propper photo forum, where theres no chit chat and just pure photos, with a decent mod who'll just go through deleting those not up to scratch. I'd need practice, but chaps like Abbey and a few others could really make use of that.
Now I'm just taking a shot and cropping it down to 800x600 to reduce upload speed, and sending higher res pics seems to resize them into a way the pixels look crupmled. Ah well.

Hi Damak, if ya saddle your own horse feel free to ride along.

Hey Bird, an ornathologists dream to see you out and about on the boards, it's good to see you like our habbitat in here. It's getting better here each day, although I just found 2 of the 4 traitors are males, but other than that, things are consistently improving, can't ask for much more.

Yep everyone, 2 males, the ones sharing the tub, although one of them seems to have put out a tri branch, which is very unusual, so I cut all but one other one off. I also gave the other chap a good trim job just leaving one limb left, photos should be included I guess, but they aren't. The one in the restricted pot is also looking male, but I'll leave it alone for a day or 2. The Faithfull, I took the head off as a clone, male or female, if it roots, it'll me kept alongside my existing tri male cut.

2 new tri's born, although no new ones were planted, just very late to pop in the soil. I'll let you all know how they do, time to plant some more I guess.

GMT, I just had some time to read a little of your thread. You dont use nutes  Maybe you can just give me a quick run down or cliff note type thing to help me out. No excuses just I hate reading cause I dont understand everything I read. I am much more visual and like pictures. Thats just me.

I would love to know more of what you do and more why you do. How come you dont use nutes? I am fighting an under feed over feed issues and came across lazy growing. Mr.GreenJeans may have mentioned you to me as I was discussing my issues with him. I dont recall honestly. But what you are doing, I would like to know more about. :joint:

Also what cam did you get. Those are some nice shots with great macro. I just ordered a canon digital rebel xti. I hope it can do what I want it to, well I am sure it can. I just need all the gear to do it.

Ah, you have far more money than I do, I looked at the cannon coolpix a630 as a great alternative, and I've seen some cannon macros that put everything else to shame. So a decent macro lens on the xt should have you (and us) grinning. As far as I could make out, the big advantage of true slrs is the shot speed. Once you press the shutter release on a point and shoot type, it seems to wait a while and then takes the shot. Fine for plants that arent on the move, not so great for that "dog catching frisby" shot. Anyway I went with the olympus sp310. I'm still getting to grips with it all, and I've just found a whole new section in the software provided for editing the pics, which is very cool. it has an aperature range of 2.8 to 8, which tended to be pretty good comparatively. And a shutter speed from 1/2000th to 8mins for celestial shots, and timelapse too, so I'm pretty happy with its features, but also has the threaded mount for additional lenses, which is great for the future when I can get true macro lenses and a telephoto lenses stuck on the front. Movie shooting too, for the price, which is cheap cam price, (I've paid double for standard point and shoot film cameras before) I'm very happy with it.
So a quick run over lazy growing just to clarify what I'm displaying, ok no worries.
I'll try for 10 points lol,

1. No Nutes (other than whats in the soil).
2. No fancy soils. (Anything good for veggies is a favourite but general purpose is fine).
3. Water with tap water, it has minerals etc in it anyway and tends to be the right ph for me. If yours isnt, ph adjust it. Once its measured, dont waorry about it changing, the water company takes care of that.
4. For clones and revegging, 24 hours of weak flouro light, I use 2 15w bulbs.
5. For the others, they get sleep.
6. Times on the the ones that get sleep aren't constant. They go on when I get up, which varies by around 5 hours day to day. They go off roughly 12 hours later or when its convinient, a couple of hours each way evens itself out over time.
7. Light leeks occur constantly, this way it isnt a shock to em lol. They only see light of the right wave length, if they didnt we wouldnt need specialist lights to grow em, so dont worry about it.
8. They get flowered when they look like they want to be, and harvested before bud rot sets in (normally), or when I run out of reserves.
9. Lst ing is a lot of work, topping isn't.
10. I want wide plants, so I plant in wide rather than deep tubs.

I want to watch plants grow and then smoke em. I dont want to pump them up, fill em with shit and smoke em. I want to taste the plant. It's like the olympics, steriods are just cheating. And they're bad for you. Lazy growing is easier, less stressfull, tastes better, and has less additives and e numbers. Also what you watch is nature, not manufactured. So that's Lazy Growing in a nutshell.

^ I love it GMT  and I'm sure the plants do too. We've seen the results of humans messing with nature :yoinks: I like interfering as little as possible with the growth of my plants.
I'm not quite as lazy as you GMT. I still use organic fish ferts in small doses and EWC in my soil mix. But...I'm starting to get lazier and lazier as I go :biglaugh:

Keep up the nice buds, plants, and macro pics GMT!

I would, but it seems I have battery issues as in the one that came with it isnt a rechargeable, so now I have to buy one. Fortunately they are cheap enough and I can get about 3 shots inbetween recharging my sony ones and using them lol.
