Lazy Growing

ixnay, just giving a flipant remark, as I dont know how to say, I can roll anything you can imagine, without coming accross like a bit of a prick. I've had a few tell me I dont know what I'm doing when saying that weed doesnt burn without something to burn it, or insult what I'm growing, or telling me to flush longer ( everyone together ... LOL), or that I'm not able to roll a joint correctly. Now I do realise that the density has to change slightly depending on the contents, but my point was that a lot of folks tell me they smoke pure buds, and I just want to know where the flame elves came from as none have moved into to mine yet.

No insult taken (or given I hope), but for me, the things I noticed for good burning joint were proper shredding (gave a more consistent burn, no canoing or running) and good cured bud. That said, if your bud is extra resiny, and you trim it to the max, it may just be that your joints are gumming up, and go out quickly because of that..

yeah that's a fair summation, 18 years of tobacco use and 2 days of chewing gum, has left me a little touchy right now lol. I didn't want to get to ogerish about it though, so just threw a flippant answer out, that's all. Lots of experimenting to come, I think the end result will be to save me time on harvest, improve dry yield weight, and save me money on cigs. So I'm sticking with it for now.
i think i'm gonne have 2 send ya some orange paper for ya experiments... 
got the same problem for years now 16 +...but i dont use the orange papers....it devowers my joints if i forget for a minute.

GMT, let me say that I feel your pain, today marks two years without tobacco. I smoked cigs and chewed snuff for 21 years. Lately my best friend made me some Kinnick, which is a native smoking mix. Usually contains some form of tobacco, but not necessary. Mine has raspberry leaves, osha root, a touch of sage, some hemlock needles (NOT poisonous!), and other herbs. Burns great in a pipe after dinner, or in a joint with some bud. We had gotten away from smoking joints because it was more than we needed, seemed like a waste. Now that we've learned the "cultured" way of doing it, we smoke j's more often.
The only severe cravings I've had since quitting tobacco are for cigars, it's woken me in the middle of the night, after a dream of smoking a nice handroll cigar. I took 3 days off work when I quit, ate tons of sunflower seeds till my tongue was bloody from the salt, used "Smokey Mountain" fake chew, and most of all Smoke Away. Not sure if you can get it there, it was the only thing that kept me from being a psychotic axe-murdering freak. I've found that after a couple of times when you don't have tobacco in a situation when you would normally, the cravings go away. So it's best to take your triggers one at a time. If you normally smoke while drinking and being out with friends in a bar, then have a couple drinks at home without tobacco before you combine it with other triggers. Hope this makes some sense.
Anyway, beautiful plants, shows how much hype gets attached to growing. I've read the entire thread from the beginning. Best wishes.

Flip Mode, that's a good piece of advice thanks, not about the hemlock not being poisonous, which I'm fairly sure it is, at least to drink but on the falsify triggers to cope when they occur for real bit. Read the whole thread, wow, when threads get this long, I tend to think of starting new ones, as I feel its rare for anyone to read a whole thread when its long, but I guess it's not that long yet then.

hello i got a tip for lazy grower .. make clone and buy PLAGRON ROYALTY mix ... 15 day of veg with somee roots stimulator .. BUT NO FERTS and go in flower and NEVER ADD FERTS or u burn everything

interesting, but if you are adding stuff other than water, technically you arent being a lazy grower. Lazy growing is all about adding nothing but water. The idea is, theres nothing to get wrong. Also when you smoke your plants, plants is all you are smoking not chems. (until you start adding baccy). It looks like a nice room you have there though.

I've had hemlock tea before, was pretty good, helped make it too lol, maybe the kind around here are fine.

lol, yeah, I must sort out that cam, its really nice, but I've had a rough ride of the flu and a chest infection so haven't felt like moving tubs around to photo them. Not only that, I havent got round to installing the software for it yet on the always dodgy laptop. But it's got a 1 gig card so i can shoot a few and then upload the ones worth waiting for, I have a nice shot of first tricks forming, just emerging from the leaf, the macro feature isnt great to be honest as the focus range is so narrow on it, but with the cropping you can do on a 7mp pic, you can get a nice view of a section. I'm still working out how to use it properly, seems it needs to be set up for each shot separately, and that takes time. I'll have some up by the end of the weekend.
yeah Socrates went out with a splash with it rather than skulking off into the night as they all wanted him to.
ok just a test pic from the new cam. The hps was on while taking this shot, just wanted to see upload time etc, the playable with software bit is shit compared to sony's, but you do most of it on the cam, and I still have sonys so I must play around a bit.
