Lazy Growing

Well, I thought that while we wait for the trators of the tri's to develop their treasonous structure to the point its easily photographed, I thought I should put up a couple of developing flower shots. First is a bud on my latest round of the bruised nuts girl, the last is a seed from a cross I did some time ago, and thought I'd remind myself why I left them alone. Anyway, enjoy.

Hi TML, I'm working on a few names at the moment, kind of depends on how things turn out. Right now I guess this generation should by rights be called double bruised nuts or berry bruised nuts, as they are a bruised nuts x bruised berry cross. If I can stabalise triness or at least get it to be a common pheno in this line, then I'm thinking shamrock, but names tend to come after a round of flowering so right now they are nameless. Thanks for the compliments, always gratefully received.
I topped all the traitors, as is the brittish way, (beheading traitors is traditional in britain, well that and electing them), but the faithfull remains single cola. Smokey girl is putting out pistils and the flowering girls are, well flowering. Thats all to report for now.

I'm sitting here laughing like a drain! Whew - that was funny!!!

Very pretty leaves - even the traitors. I'm still learning how to be ruthless with the plants when I need. I tend to let them go on too long before ending the misery.

Oh, and a name - how about Berry Brutes... :chin:

i just spent the last couple of hours reading your thread. I must say ive gathered some great info on topping and cloning from you. keep up the good work.

Hiya GMT! Long time no see. Been working way way too much - haven't even had time to look at my pc chair let alone sit in it. Looks like things are coming along well as usual. I was just wondering though, when you chop, dry, and cure, do your buds typically end up pretty tight or more on the airy side? Do you know what determines this? I'm told so often that you want 'tight frosty buds' but idunno. Keep it green man.

hi acme, glad ya got something from this thread, anything ya want to know, feel free to ask here. if i'm not about, someone will help you out.
durban, all depends on the strain, and the distance of the bud from the light, and the health of the plant. denser buds create a greater risk of bud rot, airier buds, well they dont last as long. i always find its the side of the bud most in the shade which is frostiest. And clearly the nearest buds to the light are the densest.

I've got rotten flu, think me well will ya guys, I dont believe in that stuff, but right now I'll try anything.

Might as well just start calling you Henry VIII :yoinks:

whew..stay away with that bug...I don't wanna get sick.
Try a hot toddy that always makes me feel a bit better, or at least fall asleep.
- Mix a shot of whiskey, spoonfull of honey, and a squirt of lemon juice to some boiling water :yummy:

I'm liking the no name bud :chin: nice young'uns too

Better camera, and better shots...alright! :lurk: Just the thing to make a great thread even better.

ok I'll bite, why henry 8th? So many wives? Love to behead ladies?
yeah i'm in quaranteen now, I feel rough, not as rough as last night though, just hurts to breath now, and a dull ache, its playing havoc with my ability to smoke, which of course makes things seem so much worse. I never touch alcohol these years at all, my reaction is always a hot bath, and a large plate of chips covered with vinegar, clears the sinus' a bit.
lol caveman.

oh, anyone know who ansel adams is/was?

Wow, I'll say, yeah I think I'm gonna need a bit of practice.
Thanks Sleepy,
More orangeberries hey, hope they do better for you this time around, only thing I can say is heavy light during veg and sleep at night for them. They are old beans now actually, you may have probs popping them now.

well yet again I've fucked up. I dropped the laptop while its recharge lead was in, clearly there was only 1 side of 6 it could land on. The female conector, the one inside the laptop, is now a little further inside the laptop, and at quite an odd angle. The battery no longer charges as it doesnt recognise that its plugged in, so I'll shortly be disappearing again. I still have an hours worth of battery time left, but once its gone, so am I. at least until i can afford the flaming rip off computer doctor again, who charges £50 just to vissit and say he cant fix it.

Oh man - sorry to read this. Has happened to me too. I wouldn't bother with the PC repair man, I'd call the Vendor and see if they'll fix it. Either way, sure hope you can get back in a reasonable time - you'll be sorely missed.

keeping tabs up  ..yeah what Sleepy said about Ansel Adams..
I grew up in California, where AA was a very well known photographer and adventurer of the Sierra Nevada Mountains..
especially Yosemite Natl Park..most of the famous shots associated with Yosemite are AA photos..a lot of black and white killer pics..
I've stood on top of here..Half Dome..and there at the Merced River looking at Half Dome..did a lot of rock climbing in Yosemite..

Ansel Adams pics..
