Just like that....... Alice is gone

found a sweet little pup to adopt, got her for free off of CraigsList, the owner wanted a $100 re-homing fee which I was about to pay him, but then I told him that his little sweetie was going to such a great home that he should pay me the $100, he declined that counter offer but he agreed to let me take her gratis.......

first thing she did was wizz on my floor :dunno:

she was afraid of her new surroundings and wouldn't pee outside when we got here. it was dark and she was nervous about the cars flying past us on the highway so close by, before we go to sleep I'll carry her into the backyard where it's nice n' quiet.

Great to hear.

Really sorry to hear about Alice but I am happy to hear you have found a new pup to cherish. Hopefully when you have a spare few minutes you could post some pics of her.

Suzi, always waiting for a lap to sit in, she wants/needs to be touched and held, very spoiled :)

Suzi's just a little sweetheart, I can tell she's still feeling down being away from home but is getting tons of attention. I got a 3 hour nap today and Suzi settled down to snuggle quietly as long as my hand was in contact with her, if/when my hand moved away she'd shift around to find it again.

1st visit to the vet is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon :)

pets are harder to mourn then people.. as pets never fuck with you.. or hurt you .

also.. sorry for your loss.. and hope everything works out for you .. I know how hard it is to lose an animal.. and that shit was tougher then losing family members honestly.

it's funny, every once in awhile I'll see some big guy holding his tiny dog in his arms and looking very guarded about it, now I understand why, these dogs are so tiny and fragile that even one small accidental wrong step/move could maim or kill it.
