haha I know you aren't knocking me hunnybun.
No LST, I just let them go to see what they would do. I have 3 other plants in flower now and they are all being LST'd.

I like changing things, messing with things.......seeing just what I can grow.

These are very big colas and heavy too, very heavy. I think they will be ready to chop this week and then Ill move 3 more into flower.

This is really fun, I love growing.

Yeah i am a big fan of topping and LST, and do both at the same time. They both pump up yield a good bit ( got 6oz from 1 sour D plant that was trained alot) . It takes more time in veg but i have found that the end result is more than worth it. Hope they smoke well, bagseed can be a shocker if grown right. and it looks grown right to me. Remember, the whole diesel craze was started with bagseed. So there are gems to be found

Chopped two of them today, no clear trichomes, only a couple of amber. Looked like droplets of milk all over the leaf. hehe

Excellent, What ones were chopped, the Orgies or the Chemies? and at what point in time was this done in comparison to the start of 12/12?!

I chopped the MG at 8 weeks and 4 days. I flushed the organics today and plan on chopping them next week.

These are heavy, dense buds and look as though they will take some time to dry. I am so curious as how the high will be. I do have more of these seeds and I got all females out of the ones I popped.

:lurk: Hey! The popcorn wagon is empty! :moon:

Baccas musta been hangin fer a bit. :yoinks:

Looking great! We'll be keepin an eye on the new pots - I'm on the 2nd grow with the new size and should be able to draw conclusions on yeild, height, etc. compared to both tubs and 2 gallon pots with wide rims. I like your design, I've noticed that the top few inches of soil are always void of roots and have been told that a narrow neck and broadening center would be a beneficial design for maximum root growth.

One thing with these tall pots is that they hold moisture quite a bit longer than small pots - I've overwatered and had to correct root rot probs. Now I ignore them until the plants start droop to let me know they are out of water. When I chop a plant and check the rootball it fills the entire depth, so I think we're on the right track!

Good work! Mind if I pull up a chair over here in the corner...slide it over mesa! :woohoo:

hehehehe hey 1Toke, come on in my thread, I am very gracious. Mesa? he need to scootch over? hahaha

Thanks for the info on the pots, I was worried about watering as it is impossible to check with the finger method unless you have 10 inch fingers. (and btw if you do, call me, please, hahahaha) j/k

I was able to fit 6 in my grow room easily with these so lets see how they do growing deep down into the pots, and I guess I will let them show me signs of thirst also, do not want to overwater these.

I have 2 CPR, 2 Apollo 11, and 2 White Rhino going right now. :canabis:

Nice......just tried a small bud from this bagseed, (I have a great dryer box now, it is kicking ass)
I smoked a bud and I must say, very nice. A little harsh, but it is still early, no cure of course. Tasted like old time weed, anybody know what I mean? Just had a nice marijuana flavor to it and I must say, I am very nicely buzzed. :joint:

one way to avoid over watering with tall plant is to water from the bottom up

bowl of water under the pot will leach the water up into the soil. It also seems to encourage root growth downward in search of water. and over watering is pretty avoidable if you weigh the amount of water you put in the bowl and don't water anymore till the potted plant has lost that same amount of weight. assuming you have a scale of some type. I almost never water the top of the dirt anymore unless I am going out of town.

I don't know about "dialed" in. I am a common sense grower. We read all these formulas people have on here for nutes and soil or whatever. Many, many threads about all these additives and such. If I bought everything a certain person keeps telling people to get, I'd have thousands of dollars in my grow and I truely doubt that my weed would be any better.

I get pms all the time from well established growers that do not do all that nonsense, they grow more like me, but those aren't the popular threads. People seem to want to make it hard for some reason, I just don't get it.

I DO NOT OWN A PH METER!

go look in my gallery....I dare ya.......I grew all of that with good old common sense and very little money
