Broads definitely are not the softer cousin they are as bad as each other tbh. And unless you scope them, it doesn't matter how many links you dig up. You cant solve a problem without evidence of some kind.
The clue is broads are just the start of a snow balling effect. Not the soul cause. the only reason they are hard to get rid of is because most chemicals which kill them also fuck up your plants. Another thing, these can lay dormant for a year in your grow room and appear from nowhere. Probably longer.
symptom fit the cause mate. some time you just have to work down a process of elimination to find the issue. .
from the info in the that link i read broads are the lesser of 2 evils , i nuked my room with neat bleach and heat treated it so know there are deffo no live eggs in there, what i used on the plants should of killed broads and their eggs but seem the have survived and hatched. il ditched infected cuts anyway as i dont want is spreading, cycleman mites are more resistant to chemical .
just ordered some avid 0.15.. from what ive read this should do the do.. not cheap but worth its weight in gold to me atm

if you use avid, try to get forbid and rotate the two 3 days apart. it stop the mites getting resistant to the miticide. whatever you use, rotate it with something else. hope that helps

i was looking at that forbid mate but its an very costly and seems impossible to find anyone sells it in uk.. in looking at swapping the neem for MET52. very promising looking natural fungal product, dose to the mites what the mite do the plants. thatll teach the little fuckers!
