This would be true if there was solid evidence the vaccines prevent the spread. I have yet to see this. Do you know of some? I can concur somewhat if the hospitals being overwhelmed by non-vaccinated is true.
the vaccines do not offer perfect protection. never have, probably never will. but, they have been shown to lessen severity of illness, rates of hospitalization, and lower the transmission. have seen nothing RE Omicron along those lines yet. what little i have read does not look good along those lines. i'm going to have to take the hospitals word on how crowded they are. the elective surgeries are on hold here, due to personnel being overworked & them not wanting folks to possibly catch it while there from those infected. medicos are trying to lessen the damage done, knowing that there is no magic bullet in the works. every little bit helps...
