A quick descent from rational discussion.
It's an outdated right given when none had a clue how deadly weapons would end up being. Its long been overdue to update the constitution. Things change that have a massive impact on society.. What was once good has become bad.
I owned firearms for most of my life. Mine were for hunting, not defence against dictatorship. When I stopped hunting, I sold my rifles. I am not in favour of banning all firearms in all situations - I've not even suggested banning firearms in any situation. You're conflating my arguments with something else. I think if you re-read everything I've written in this thread you might continue to find things you don't agree with, but you won't find any hypocrisy or irrationality.

I don't disagree with you on parts. Trumps is hardly the person to quote as right lol. . Many don't think People's lives are worth saving. Playing with a specific gun is vastly more important. I'll be long dead when/if it happens. Those in power want the public divided/fighting.

A good 1st step might be to stop any future sales. Grandfather whast already out.
