Common sense seems to be lacking. Being a good shot is not saying i'm awesome LMAO. Ea weapon has a purpose. You must have glazed over the other 2 weapons I listed lol. If someone is coming to kill you, you better know it. If I can take them out before I need to swap weapons ill do that. We were not talking about a random bad guy. My .45 will take care of that.

Now you’re being modest dude, 2000 meters and beyond is pretty awesome. As for the other two I did glaze them over, and for this very reason as your shot gun and .45 make more sense to use for self defence. That, and AR’s lol.
308 is a great all-around caliber. Sig Sauer Cross Rifle in the gun safe. I still have my pellet gun from 2001 lol.

I'm happy and content without an AR in my gun safe. Its the lives lost that has made them unwelcome here. Making them unattainable saves lives Im good with that. Too many unstable people seem to have access to weapons the shouldn't. I see 2 choices, Banning AR or Finding a way to prevent mentally unstable people from buying them. Which is gonna have an quick impact and be easy to accomplish

i don't own an AR. i don't need an AR. used M-16s in the USAF. recoil free, very accurate, even with open sights. lots of people make very convincing arguments that an AR is EXACTLY what they need, and don't give a damn about your "feelz"... you care about lives? go try to make a difference by demanding that all cars are limited to 45 mph, or by banning all tobacco products. fuck, go the the Mexican border & take a stab at stopping fentanyl from swimming the Rio Grande. try to be productive instead of punishing 99% of the folks that want something in a futile attempt at stopping the mentally sick (less than) one percent that misuse something.
