As an experiment, with a 1 liter jar, I've packed it with the purple thai - after hanging for a week or so at c40-45% humidity - and squished it down in the jar, which Ive left open. I'm wondering if it will dry as a cake, without any mold. Maybe should try vacuum packing some.
Thanks dude!Great job in the grow as well as the diary!!
Cheers! Yeah, the Thai so far has been a great smoke, even with only a few weeks cure. Likewise intrigued to see how it is after a few months. Vacuuming sealing jars sounds like a great idea.Great grow. That thai burmese leaf structure is wild, very interested to hear how that cures up. I just wanted to mention the mason jar lid kits that allow you to suck the air out of jars. Finway vacuum seal lids i believe, They would probably help reduce risk of mold.
Still in coco, I see, at least for the start.
Yo PCBuds, good to see you! Won't be taking that bet, as I bet you're right.I'm betting that she's made a complete switch to coco ?

Nah that is Hydroton (LECA). Pebbles they are often called.A Crouton !! (or whatever it's called.)
Its an adventure, eh? I'm not going to be able to replicate the conditions its used to - lets see how it does!I wonder how being coco/hydro affects this dry spell tip.
