⬆️🇬🇧😉‘Looks pretty awesome too, to say the least, thanks also for sharing and for helping to make this thread special

This is my line of GMG.

I also have a large line, the Purple Satellite,,,Consisting of many selected F1 plants.

I am a guerilla grower and am increasingly concerned with the conservation breeding of rare northern outdoor cultivars (through selective line breeding).

GMG and PS love my home soil (mudy floodland clay).

At GMS, every guy is a winner (the men are very important to me in breeding).

I give them horse manure (also limestone and diatomaceous earth) or chicken manure pellets. I'll just keep it!

They are very magical and the best guerilla varieties I know.

And @vermontman is one of the best still active breeders for northern outdoor varieties worldwide.

And my personal favourite breeder.’

Hello @BumSplodgeBrownPants!
How she smelling and please a smoke report.
Nice job!
Hi Vermontman!

She's going to be curing till Xmas, smoke report then.

So far a quick tester and she tastes a bit like my mortal enemy ... the banana. I'm allergic to bananas so have conditioned myself to hate the smell of them. 🤪 But that will change over time.

She smells a bit like pickled onions in the jar, with the citrus coming through.

Cheers dude. Have a fun weekend.

PS - I'll be running the zacatecas again after a tent cleandown... one of my faves that is. Still have plenty to see me through, but I want MORE!!! Just in case of emergency. :whee: :good: :bigeye:

After a great season outside at 42.2N with GMGrape, Mountain Gold and Purple Satellite and even without trying any of the smoke yet I figured I needed to round things out and get the Zacateca for next year. Sometimes ya gotta have a little faith. 😉

Then I saw the Oaxacan Gold pop up on North Alantic. 😮
Hadn't really heard anything so I waited a few days. No official announcements. Maybe trouble with the hurricane?

Decided to just go for it and not miss the opportunity to grab some og genetics in case they were a limited drop from his Skull 79.
Looking forward to next year already. 🫘

I've got the Oaxacan Gold on order from North Atlantic also. I got a mail update that the package is late due to weather? I don't see any bad weather in that area so I'm confused. Hopefully it shows up soon.

There’s 3 left on there now, what happened to the ace distribution? Will they be getting these in?
When you actually click on that it then says they are sold out.
As I said, there was no information put out.
A couple months back vermontman made a comment that led me to believe he was working on something.

When I saw these I figured they were that. project.
I don't know if they are something different he found that he liked well enough to release?
I don't know if they are skull79?
I don't know if they are green line?
But I got some! 😍 Lol
I'm getting up there in the long tooth. Figured why wait?
I'm sure when they get a chance some info will be forthcoming.

I'm sure I'll want to play with them whatever they end up being. 😉
Gotta have some faith.

@vermontman What happened to the ace distribution? Will they be getting these in? Are these the original skullfuck before the fed was introduced? Or the mex you recently acquired? Or a cross between the two?
Hello all!
Because of all the turmoil going on here between hurricanes down south and here up north wind storms that knocked out power/phone/internet and we trying to to get back south to start clean up of our devastation. I wish I could answer all but bit overwhelmed. One question I will respond so everyone knows. The latest release of Oaxacan Gold is very respectable the mother is a new line of Oaxacan 1979 I just acquired which is probably a branch off my line from 1979 carried by someone else crossed back with my late seventies Oaxacan Gold. She is very similar but with slight differences. Below is new Oaxacan Gold 1979 Mom. Now crossed with My Oaxacan Gold to create feminized seed now available through North Atlantic seed co.
I will try to keep these fully stocked before I head south to these hurricane stricken areas including my own house there.
If there are delays I sincerely apologize!
Below is new mother line of Oaxacan Gold. So far the smoke report from my dear friends is supper positive, as in very cerebral, up beat happy with a terrific flavor balance.
And i must say she smells delicious!

Just noticed last night but sold out I'm bummed, more to release @vermontman
Same! Gonna try and hold off on next years seed order until restock (always risky with GM haha they sell out! understandably) but next year will be all GM fems and perhaps an auto for a part of the garden that this year did not do as well (gmg, got no sun once the sun gets low in the sky).
I have been harvesting everything over the last bit, at least 3 days of work to do it. Some budrot, I blame the caterpillars which were a pita and the rain we got recently. But this is a tough env with no water, hoping to get some more water up next year. Aphids on one MG was pretty bad, but that was the only one; that plant had more budrot also. I suspect the lack of water contributed as well to that.
Had a few nights in mids 20s(F) and the plants did not care at all, ran out of light when trimming one day, looked up and saw the aurora, what a blessing.
A few sneaky tastes of the PS (will be sending my full bud reports after cure, probs around Dec at earliest). But she tasted lovely, cherry with a slight hashy hint and a fun up feeling.
