These are regulars so no idea yet. Really cool pinnate leaves though. I have two going so hoping for one of each sex. :)

That would be cool! But even if you get two ladies you could breed with that inline male that may not have same leaf expression and after a couple back crosses potetially fix that trait.

To answer your question vermontman, the leaves got thinner as the plants progressed. The males were not around for too long so they had wider leaves.

We had insane heat at the end of June when Portland saw the highest temperature ever recorded here. I did not believe the predictions but it got up to 118 degrees and stayed above 100 for a few days. That was horrible. I hid my plants in the shade best as I could and the purple satellite did fine.

This picture was taken one week after the heat wave and the plant looks great.

They turned purple in October and I cut them down October 26.

Thank you for making this available to us vermontman! Love your weed!

Super! I did not know Satellite could handle that extreme heat, so that is good to know.
You are welcome I am just pleased when people are happy with their gardens.
So thank you Squatty!

The Pineapple Banana Bud that I have this year are very impressive already, great tall open even structure and vigor, easily keeping pace and indeed outdoing other (ace) F1s thus far (PanXhaze, PanXHon), though we are a way off yet and the Panama crosses are yet to fully trigger while the PBB is well on the way. (Roughly 30S)

Great greasy stems Vermont-man!!

Unfortunately I should not have sown the Purple Satellite and Green Mountain Grape until summer as they triggered early. though they look promising and smell incredible, yield will be less than stellar.

VM -i know you are focusing on growers at higher latitudes but I think the PBB and Mountain Gold are brilliant for those looking for great old school sativa vibes across a range of mid latitude growing environs.

These things have been on my grail trail list for a good while so I'm really pleased to be able to give them a go.
It would be sad if they were to go out of production.

thanks so much for some beautiful genetics! I
Fingers x'd for a good finish

Thank you for your kind words Taima
And you are most welcome!
The greasy stem rub on Pineapple BB is mostly from the Mulanje. I always love to hear people are doing well with my work.
I may possibly do a Oaxacan Mulanje cross, I have already had friends grow out testers with very good results.
I am also currently working on further stabilizing Mulanje, So I may go back to PBB and Mountain Gold.
If you could post pics that would be most terrific.
Cheers

👆😳 Sounds amazing.

thanks for your reply, I'll try for some pics but am a little camera shy generally in the local environment.

In the meantime I better nab a pack or two of ZT!

This PBB is at 9 weeks. I am a little surprised how far along she looks. But do love how she is looking. She is in the back so I can't comment in smell ATM. Just wanted to share her buety. I can't imagine she would be done in a week but sure looks close to me. I will check her under the scope next week.

Maybe from cold temps first half of flower? I have a second PBB a couple weeks behind this one. Will be fun to compare them.

Your PBB sure looks good. I'm with you, these Green Mountain crosses all look like they need to be grown.

Vman, question on the PBB. Was the Hawaiian mother the same Hawaiian that was used to make Mountain Gold. Except that Hawaiian was the pollen donor. Is this correct?

Also, was the Malawi father used to make PBB, used in any of your other strains. Thanks for all the answers.

Hello Lotto!
In Mountain Gold Federation Hawaiian sativa male was used on Oaxacan Gold green line female And on Pineapple Banana Bud a female Fed HA, same line, was used with Mulanje Gold male pollen.
So far Mulanje Gold pollen is not used in any other strains presented.

But I just knocked up a super early Green Mountain Grape clone that finished end of August out at latitude 42 N last season.
She is currently outside with seeds swelling.

Yes. The only difference I am noticing so far is #2 has a tiny bit more sweetness to the smell and seems to have more pistals.

If it's not to much trouble I would love to see you post more pics?
Its just amazing to see what direction strains can go in terms of variation.

No trouble at all. I'll get some pics when they wake up tonight. I agree, it is amazing and fun to see how plants change expression with different environmental conditions.
