Thats not tricky..I use 1 trash barrel with pump/sprayer for both veg and flower with like 20 different strains. Get all the same feed veg/bloom.

I guess the difficulty factor level is dependent on the point of view of each person.

I have 1 reservoir that feeds half a room of gg4 and another half a room of 10 different strains. My nute ratios are perfection thus far for all 10 other strains but for the gg4 it's lacking...

I will say that after yesterday's Epsom foliar I come out to the room and everything has shot up 6" or more overnight! Ha

P.L. Best of the best imho. I remember back in the day they made a little dent in the hobby hydro market here in the States. Distributed out of Canada. I bought 2 "deep" reflectors and a variant of the classic "midi". Had the ballasts too. When the 430 watt "son agro" was kind of the rage. Grew some nice crops with those hoods. All "Sea of Green" in them days. 600's werent really widely availabe yet. Here in America anyways. Thouies and the fours were about it.

All of the people I know running CMH are killing it.. Some full rooms full of 315w lights that are producing better GPW vs HPS. Remember CMH is using less power, is more efficient, less cooling needed, Better spectrum..Even if u think the yields are less then HPS ur still getting bigger yields do to all the other factors. You will get the same yields using 3000w of cmh as you would with 4000w or more of hps. But hay im just being dishonest so please keep using HPS lol..

Before the wildfire i use to run the Geobeds ( i wanna say they were slightly smaller then the 4x8 so i believe they were 3x6 for each bed ) if i was going make the switch since i will have to buying lights ( was lucky to have a few Magnetic setups in storage something told me not to throw out when doing the Dual ended HPS switch ) for the setup anyways what wattage would i be shooting for over each bed compared to the usual 2k per a 4x8 when using standard HID compared to making the switch to CMH? also do you prefer CMH over gavita style lighting?

I dont see or hear of many warehouse growers scrapping pl nanolux e paps & Gavita double ended hps fixtures for a shit ton of 315 and 630 cmh lamps. They grow great bud and damn near a perfect veg. But for big timers..de is still number one.

Actually they are available from monster gardens in a few forms. Almost went with them over the gavita but I've had nothing but good luck with gavita over the years.

wish i new that ...i needed an exact match for a 4'th lamp with what i'm currently running...my shop said no go so i went with a open wing style ...it's pretty good

No the ballast is part of the interchangeable hood. Not sure if it's commercial grade or not but they are built nicely.

the #1 main reason i like the ones i'm running is they are so damn light weight ... real easy to work with & that is a big plus in my world

U should shoot for 50w sqf. I have seen some using much less. I use 40w sqf of CMH.. I used the same for HPS.

I don't know what the conversion for wattage from HPS to CMH is. I don't think any know what that is.

I was using all Gavita 1kw before I switched to CMH. The hoods on these CMH vs hps are not much different.

good morning to U HammerHead (Cali time) ,.. another ? for U, >>> if heat and efficiency was NOT an issue would U still recommend the CMH over HPS for overall final flower development?

I use 3 630’s and a 1 315 in flower room
in a 4 x10
What would that be? If someone would enlighten please, I’d appreciate it
