All Hallows' Eve today, my daughter is sooooper stoked, I've got a lot of candy in the near future. I raised her to share and I'm glad.

Looking great Yukon! Those frosty girls will pay you back richly for you awesome efforts. I wish I could scrog, but the way I have my room set up, it's not very doable at this time. Won't be long now, a few leaves going to senescence as normal (I think it was you who got me started on that word senescence, thanks for expanding my vocabulary!). Trust you have something psychedelic lined up for tonight's ghouls as they show up. Have a great Halloween my friend.
Peace, God bless

Lol total stick in the mud. Had nothing planned but.... there IS this jar of Qleaner that I don't like very much.. might make some cookies with it now you mention... thanks for the reminder! Wife will be pleased with a touch of party. We always had lots of fun together but mental shit has put a damper on my party power so she might really appreciate a bit of fun out of her old ball and chain.

Last night she got the bug big time and went the extra mile decorating... front entry looks like Shielobs lair from The Silmarillion. Spider webs everywhere and even a cocooned human on the door.... I love my lady. She brings spirit to every holiday for me and our family.

Edit: we'll let the Human go tomorrow... we're a catch and release family. He'll get some weed cookies tonight and the webbing is warm compared to the street so he'll be fine...

And a happy fright fest to all you fellow icmaggers out there too! Get fu*ked up get f*cked and have fun!

Edit: I made super chocolatey cookies with cocoa powder and bittersweet chocolate. Added ground up toasted pumpkin seeds a bunch of cinnamon and a bit of almond extract... long story short they turned out as delightful "Mayan" flavoured chocolate weed cookies. The Herb was Qleaner so unrelated to Ace (laaame. Weeeaak. Booo;) but it imparts a bitter herbal component I recognize from many Maya dishes I had the privilege to try.

Took two for a test flight. This ones not cobbed but I'm thinking of ya anyway Tang and other cob chewers if your out there..

That's beautiful Vapor. Mine are not as bushy as your; you'll definitely get a nice yield. Mine are in a greenhouse and from the looks of your flowers, I'm guessing we will both be harvesting around the same time. I'll try to get some picks of them up soon. Very nice job!
Peace, God bless

Hedge seems to be throwing more nanners and I found some more aphids.... even her resins seem less interesting than a day or two ago. I think I need to cut a little early.
I'm thinking the slight pollination made her focus on seeds more than resins and over fertilization has caused new flowerings when it should be slowing down. The range of maturity in resins is basically getting all screwed up with too many ambers and wayyyy too many fresh immature trichomes while my percentage of cloudy is shrinking from each end.

Plus I don't want fuc*n aphids in my SCROG.:lightning::spanky:

Scrog looks great Yukon. Sorry to hear about the aphids and having to pick early. Hope you get some great smoke out of her. My problem at this time of year is cut-worms, but they see pretty safe in the greenhouse and they are getting BT. I'm not sure what week this is, not counting. I'm just letting them take their sweet time, no hurry. These are clones; I flowered the mom's a long time ago. My greenhouse is 9' tall and I had to raise it another foot. As such, all flower shots had to come from lower branches I could see.
This one puts out fairly dense, big flowers and consumes the most nutes. I do have all of them dialed back at the time at 0.9 EC and I'll give em a boost near the end. pH is 6.5.

This next girl is very similar, a little less dense flowers, but still quite respectable all the same.

I'll post the last on the next post.
Peace, God bless

Here is the last clone. I have never grown Thai, but having Malawi, I assume this is very Thai. Her flowers are much smaller, her branches are very floppy and viney; she would be easy to trellis. Much smaller/narrower leaves, lighter flowers, but very clear, trippy and positive up high, loving all of life. She flowers the latest and comes in last, but well worth keeping around!

Thanks for stopping by.
Peace, God bless

Looking decent... bit of claw and some barely burnt tips... straight water from here out I think.
Five weeks on the nose from flip.

Hahaha remember when I was worried it wouldn't stretch enough? Nincompoopery.

I've taken her 13.5 before and she STILL had some new pistils sputtering out. That was really strong meds but it gave you such red eye Jedi great googly moogly eyes that sleep became a primary concern after either 4hours of mind numbing high or two and a half joints... whichever came first.
I'm going to be looking pretty hard at it every day after 12 weeks anyway so I'm sure twixt oft posted updates and some friendly online advice from experienced folks like yerself I'll Nail the harvest time pretty closely.

It smells intense.... sort of a fermenting myre lemon thing with an herbal back to it.... that's the "high" end. It's overlaid on a really pronounced sweet young carrot smell I would expect more from Zam.
Firkin intoxicating.

Resins are better every day. Still minimal pistil death and leaves are not so dark as a week ago while still retaining really good colour indicative of ample N stored to finish stacking. Been watering roughly every 3 or 4 days when layer under mulch gets dryer and more granular.

Temps between 19 and 23 + or - 2 degrees. Usually 22 day and 19 night but there's swings here and there. Wish I could warm my soil up more. It was a mistake not to put a heat trace on a soil temp controller in bottom of my soil beds.

Soil temp control would likely be a big bonus in organic setups as it can help "throttle" back or forwards the level of microbial activity driving soil food web.

Popped couple of gt's. Excited to see if I can tame this beast. In my small setup I guess not vegging too long is the key and maybe some support for the brances in flowering.

Hey thanx Tang! High praise from a GT master, honestly it's all in the plants! My dirt didn't even get really awesome until I started mulching all my big leaf, stems and extract wastes into it so even the soil quality is... all in the plant! Lol

It's been a really fun Grow this time around, I've been glad to have opinions and encouragement from all youse guys on the mag here and I dare say it's going to be my best results so far. Sooo tnx again for the support.
:tiphat:

Next SCROG will probably be Animal Cookies (thinking of crossing to Banghi Haze and hope for extra liquorice terps)which isn't ACE gear (booooo! Hisssss) but as soon as this screen of GT is empty I'll be tossing in some ZamxGuatemala f3s to train into another monster SCROG that I'm hoping will at least compete with this one..
Hopefully I start a thread by then but either way I'll post in the Zam thread. The best of the F3 ZamxGuatemala will get pollinated by a male from (ZamxGuatemala)x super frosty Zam backcross.

There are some compact(ish) phenotypes but I think to be safe I recommend topping to at least four leads and either LST or scrog. Stakes work fairly well too but get crazy the crazier the plant gets... I hate trying to navigate a water wand through them too.
You can go 12/12 from seed if you like and get good results. I often "rush" the first three weeks with 18 hours intense light and then walk it back as plants approaches sexual maturity. Control stretch by not transplanting to final flowering pot until stretch is over and stacking has begun. I have been wondering how small a guy can go with these plants... I have solo cup clones that look like good SOG candidates even at 16 inches tall they have minimal branches for this strain and are popping preflowers. I bet if one fed just right a crop of very small single cola plants could be pulled off with pretty decent results.

Edit: I recall a guy named waldgeist from mad macs threads that was KILLING a SOG grow with Zam... just crazy good results. Learned a good bit from that fella..
