Hi Ncali :)

It's a pleasure to see the original Golden Tiger F1 generation still being grown, thank you very much for supporting our work and for your interest in our different GT lines.

You really differenciated well the different phenos, from the more Malawi leaners to the ones with more thai influence.

I still believe the second, current and reworked Golden Tiger version is clearly superior to the old F1, but guess if you are a fan of this strain it's always interesting to have as many different generations of the strain as possible.

Of course, i will keep you all updated once the third GT version (Thai Chiang Mai x New Killer Malawi generation) is ready, the regular seeds of this third version are about to be harvested, while at the same time we are preparing outdoors the parental plants to produce a fem version of this third GT line.

I believe you have koh chang & meao thai x new & old killer malawi. The only difference is old f1 generation had meao x old killer only...

Out of curiosity, how long are people running the latest Golden Tiger fems? I have one at about 10 weeks - the trics are cloudy with some dark Amber's, but pistils still are still white and haven't receeded

I'm sure the answer is "until they are ready". :)

That said....I just ran some Spring 2016 fem GT seeds for 16 weeks...including 2 week flush. One plant about 10% and the other about 20% amber trichs. They are still curing...but the early (13 week harvest) samples have been very good.

Hope that helps...good luck with your grow!:tiphat:

The Ace website says 11-14 weeks. Dubi regularly chimes in with his recommendations if you post some pictures.

Right now I've got two girls going at 11 weeks, one is going to go for another 2 weeks or so, it could take 1-2 weeks beyond that even. The other could go a very very long time yet, maybe another two months before fully mature. Malawi leaning phenos were closer to 10-11 weeks... but I'm not into Malawi lol, I like the thai.

Getting pretty big. Wishing I would have planted them more than 4 ft apart. Flowering has begun:)

Maka, Thank you. Living in this part of the world is hard on a sativa fan. I enjoy the challenge of trying to create an environment for the longer flowering plants to thrive in. I guess I will see in October when It starts snowing. If I have invested my efforts or wasted them. Peace

:xmastree: :tree:Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree ...

Great pics dude. If you crop the pics a little they will post into the correct orientation. I'll snag a pic of my single cola GT thai girl before the chop, she has to come down early... too hot. Will try to finish her to full completion again around the new year. She's already gone 12 maybe 13 weeks flower and needs easy another month....
