Thanks for sharing those experiences Dubi, really leaves something to look forward to. I wish I had the capability to grow this girl outdoors, I think she could really shine in both huge yields and really premium flowers. I have a few things to share with this post, First golden tiger is not the huge monster I thought she would be... yet haha. I have other haze varieties that have stretched more as I will show in a pic, so this idea of an un yeilding crazy girl is not so true when proper things are done to keep her smaller, nutrient levels in check, sizing of pots (into 11/13 in solo cup, up to 1 gal pot after 2 week, then 3 gal smart pot). She behaves (shorter) and no hermies which surprised me because this method does stress plants (good work dubi!) but keeps them smaller.

I had a bad battle with bud rot on malawi leaning pheno. Even when no other plants in this room shows bud rot, this plant does NOT like humidity. I live in costal area, so getting humidity levels down is not easy/always possible. It is TOO DENSE in flowers!!! hahaha. So tight, like an indica. Denser than most of my indicas, this is not what I expect with a pure sativa hybrid. I still have lots of seed on the malawi leaning girl though, so thats good. The f1 male chosen shows good resin production early though not very smelly (not many of my GT female are either?). This is just pollen chucking to save myself a few bucks to check out more GT seeds & crosses I want to try. I crossed him to Skunk haze, La Nina, panama, OE (in family pic), GT's of course, and my fav Nevil haze mango: very mango cut :)

First the f1 generation females starting flowering a couple weeks so far.

Nevil haze mango (not pollinated) is front right, sk hz behind, OE to the right and gt f1 female back right corner. She is not very tall, yet, still in stretching phase. I may regret mentioning her height haha. NHM has a foot or so over the GT f1 #2.

So far good genetics for growing and premium smoke from ACE, thank you ace and cbg teams for working on these great plants.

so GT is stronger than Malawi?
Never smoked GT, but I like Malawi a lot. Purple Haze x Malawi even more!

The Thai in GH brings out what most people call trippy effects compared to pureMalawi but both are great and people's favourites seems to be spread around different varieties, not centering on one ACE line.

Thanks ChaosCatalunya friend ;) You provided him with a perfect an accurate reply to his question.

Thanks for your kind words NCali :)

Glad to see them already in flowering and producing seeds. The sativa hybrids you have in mind sound excellent

As i commented previously many times in this thread, i find the current and improved Golden Tiger versions (regular and fem, released from late 2014 onwards), which contain the 2 Killer Malawi parental plants and the 2 thais, clearly superior over the original F1 GT release, which was a straight and simple F1 hybrid between the Old Malawi Killer x Hmong/Meao Thai (so the original F1 GT only contains 1 Killer Malawi and 1 Thai).

The current and improved GT version are much better in every sense (especially regarding quality of terpenes, with more tamed structures for indoor growing, better resin production and yield/m2) and with a much more complex genetic composition. But since many growers and breeders have shown lot of interest in GT and its development i thought it would be interesting to make available for the last time the F1 GT generation (unfortunately already out of stock).

Thanks dubi! I still have the majority of f1 gen beans left, I will save them and grow more of your current GT selection first. If your intent in breeding is more clearly displayed in current gen, I will explore those. I have a good collection of current regular and fem beans to work with!:dance013: The f1s can wait.

We are producing a third Golden Tiger version at the moment.

The first GT version was a straight F1 hybrid between Old Malawi Killer and Hmong/Meao Thai.

The second and current improved GT version is a F3 poly hybrid with Thai Koh Chang, Hmong/Meao Thai, Old Killer Malawi and New Killer Malawi.

The third GT version we are producing seeds at the moment will contain a third Thai strain, and it will be a a Thai Chiang Mai x New Killer Malawi F1.

Sounds Fantastic the Chiang Mai x KaliChina I have now is so nice and vigorous growing. I am thinking Chiang Mai x New Killer Malawi as being very potent!

Hi Dubi!
So with the next GT release, there will be offered seeds only from the 3rd version,or from both the 2nd and 3rd?
Will the new GT version be used in a new Zamaldelica version, too?
Thanks! :tiphat:

ahhhh sound so interesting and can't wait to see the unreleased version of GT.
I didn't have a chance to grow or smoke ACE' gears but the ethic of breeder and lineage of strains are sooo gorgeous.
Thanks again dubi ;)

P.S. Just waiting for my next grow and will back to the thread with my GT f1 :)

That's sounds unbelievable Dubi. The Koh Chang/Hmong Thai pheno was some of the best weed i've ever smoked, This version will definitely be for the Thai lovers.
