Thanks for sharing those experiences Dubi, really leaves something to look forward to. I wish I had the capability to grow this girl outdoors, I think she could really shine in both huge yields and really premium flowers. I have a few things to share with this post, First golden tiger is not the huge monster I thought she would be... yet haha. I have other haze varieties that have stretched more as I will show in a pic, so this idea of an un yeilding crazy girl is not so true when proper things are done to keep her smaller, nutrient levels in check, sizing of pots (into 11/13 in solo cup, up to 1 gal pot after 2 week, then 3 gal smart pot). She behaves (shorter) and no hermies which surprised me because this method does stress plants (good work dubi!) but keeps them smaller.
I had a bad battle with bud rot on malawi leaning pheno. Even when no other plants in this room shows bud rot, this plant does NOT like humidity. I live in costal area, so getting humidity levels down is not easy/always possible. It is TOO DENSE in flowers!!! hahaha. So tight, like an indica. Denser than most of my indicas, this is not what I expect with a pure sativa hybrid. I still have lots of seed on the malawi leaning girl though, so thats good. The f1 male chosen shows good resin production early though not very smelly (not many of my GT female are either?). This is just pollen chucking to save myself a few bucks to check out more GT seeds & crosses I want to try. I crossed him to Skunk haze, La Nina, panama, OE (in family pic), GT's of course, and my fav Nevil haze mango: very mango cut
First the f1 generation females starting flowering a couple weeks so far.
Hybrid malawi/thai ____________________________ More NLD/thai
The Pregnant GT, most recent female seed release with f1 pollen
family photo
Nevil haze mango (not pollinated) is front right, sk hz behind, OE to the right and gt f1 female back right corner. She is not very tall, yet, still in stretching phase. I may regret mentioning her height haha. NHM has a foot or so over the GT f1 #2.
So far good genetics for growing and premium smoke from ACE, thank you ace and cbg teams for working on these great plants.
