Water-

Looking good Maka!

Is Dubi completely reworking the Golden Tiger?
Or adding to the old mix?

Will the genetics be just Chiang Mai and new Killer Malawi?

Or three Thais plus Malawi's?

Sam, Oldbootz thanks guys. Just letting the Hawaiian sun and native soil do its thing. I can't believe it either sometimes,
cant wait til flower!

Good vigorous growth in veg.
Great "cheerful", energetic sativa smoke. One of my fav outdoor strains.

My apologies Maka, they looked to good, the grass didn't look right Your in Hawaii, that would do it, sometimes forget about you blokes.
It would be great weather all year round

No worries my friend. Yeah we get plenty rain. A couple organic top dressings and some wood chip mulch and just watch them go 👍🏼

Hi Water,

No, i'm not re working Golden Tiger. GT remains the same since late 2014 until now as the second improved version, and i have no plans to change its genetic composition unless i can do another huge improvement on her.

The third GT line (Thai Chiang Mai x New Killer Malawi) is just another parallel Thai/Malawi line i wanted to do, with the aim to widen up and expand all the desirable Thai/Malawi combinations i can achieve, time will tell if this third Thai/Malawi line is enough good to introduce her into current GT releases and breeding.

Welcome unnamedmike

Thanks for sharing pics of your indoor plants, wish they have finished the stretching so they can concentrate in gaining weight in the upcoming weeks.

Let us know if you have any doubt during their development.

Kind regards :tiphat:

Unnamedmike, I'm sure you will enjoy the Golden Tiger. I have had her in my grows the last two years. She is a very special plant.

July 9th Golden Tiger.

July 9th Golden Tiger.

Here is my Golden Tiger ladies. Everything in the greenhouse is really developing some nice aromas now. My sense of smell is very poor on individual aromas. But as a whole, I love the smell of cannabis. It is a new experience with each deep breath. No other plant I'm aware of has this ability to amaze the senses. Have a great week! Peace :tiphat:

My little flower family. GTs are back left and sideways on the right.

One on the right is a good hybrid representative, smells like orange sherbert:) These are f1 gen beans.

I will get better pics tomorrow with better lighting....

Better shots

Better shots

I don't like the pressure/commitment of a journal, but last night I realized I hadn't documented these f1 GT much and they're getting there. So I rushed pics last night, but here are better...

GT#2 f1 50/50 pheno...
tmp_968-20170712_1611461314523320.jpg tmp_968-20170712_1612101200327421.jpg

I like this girl a lot. Tragically she does not clone well, but her last surviving clone is hanging in there. She's got great color/hue and smell is sweet unlike other GT, sweet orange/sherbet.

GT#3 f1 Thai leaner (I think)
tmp_968-20170712_1610591937800880.jpg tmp_968-20170712_1610341508335692.jpg

The above GT#2 I have backup seeds, f1 male, but this girl just a clone. It's getting really hard to control temps in my grow area and it's affecting this girl adversely. I may chop early and run her again in winter for better conditions. I like her and she's racing with my nevils & sssdh for stretchiest girl! Haha. Long way to go.

The last GT I harvested was extreme Malawi leaner, not much cerebral stimulation. She is high yield, good leaf v. Bud, and good resin, but smelled of stink (like funky body parts) and it just wasn't a cut I'd run again... (fem, new generation) But these two above! Yes, yes, yes!!! These are why I bought so many packs of GT, I love very sativa expressions. I have high expectations for smoke. I am excited to explore more beans, new generation beans are scheduled for fall/winter grow.

Thank you ace & Dubi.

P.S. Dubi, please sell Chang maI x new killer separate, like you did for f1 pack! It will sell out if it is even half of what you say! I promise. Or if you need a tester...
