GT has a great shelf life. I just opened my last jar of the Tiger, filled August 29 of 2015. It hasn't lost its kick sitting in the can. Same thing with a jar of Bangi - except I swear its even stronger now a year and a half later.

I look forward to growing both again after I run the fresh packs of Malawi X Panama and Haze X Kali China I just received

Your are right! We have explained several times here and in other threads how Malawi and Golden Tiger really improve and show their best potential regarding quality, depth and intensity of the effects after a good curing, 6 months is usually enough although a longer and proper cure will still produce oustanding quality if the finished product was correctly grown and if you found a good pheno.

Indeed the sativas i'm mainly smoking lately (pure Honduras and pure Ethiopian) have been cured for 1 year and a half, and we are finding them better than ever.

Can't wait to know your opinion of the new Malawi x Panama and Purple Haze x Kali China

Is that red coloration in the leave some sort of natural sun screen the plant produces? anyone notice plants with dark shiny or red coloration in their leaves tend to be more potent?

That's an interesting question regarding Golden Tiger.
Old Malawi Killer shows red petioles quite frequently, the Meao Thai male used in the first breeding step of GT also had quite reddish petioles, so the influence could come mainly from these genetics although feeding, temps and other growing variables can also affect colors in all the parts of your plants.

Meao Thai male didn't have red leaves but some of his hybrids (especially Purple Haze x Meao Thai) had very reddish leaves in late flowering when they are finished with lower temps.

Here are two fem GTs out under subtropical sun..and rain, both are at around week11..
The 1st three photos is the tall ,branchy late flowering pheno with lemony coated wispier flowers.
The 4th photo is the shorter ,high yeilding and early
flowering pheno..not any overt odour. Nice plants for this environment...booming. !

She loves to flower in very sunny and hot locations, hope you have had a bountiful harvest of premium quality flowers!

So diving into ace gene pool... Some Golden tiger fem from recent release and the first two to pop from the original f1 packs ACE recently released (small sample size of 5 beans)

Also got panama fem, pan x malawi, and O.E. fem going. It is going to be a good summer grow, and should be good & cured to share over the holidays. That's the plan anyways haha

After saw your great results with the Panama x Malawi fem ltd edition, i'm sure you will enjoy growing Golden Tiger too, and you won't have much problems to keep them under control.

It will be interesting to compare in the same grow the new improved fem GT version with the original regular F1 Gt release. Best wishes!

Golden Tiger is out of stock at the moment in feminized format. We expect the GT fem version will be back most probably at the end of the year.
Fortunately there's still Golden Tiger regular stock available.

Last night my wife had a good look at the strength of Golden Tiger. We were looking something up on my computer just after I'd had a few hits of my best stash.

I remember pawing at the screen with my hand, trying to make a selection and being frustrated that nothing was happening.

"What are you doing? You don't have a touch screen," she said.

Golden Tiger.

hahaha so funny ..... that type of psychedelic effects are the ones we were looking when breeding Golden Tiger

I remember the first time i smoked proper outdoor grown Golden Tiger flowers.
I went with a close friend to a smoking meeting with other people that we didn't meet previously in person ... we all sit around the table in disposition to test different strains and buds, most of them were strong indica hybrids ... then we tried the uglier looking Golden Tiger buds.

Me and my friend couldn't stop to laugh for more than 1 hour, we were in front of many unknown people so the situation was quite embarrassing, but hell! the laugh didn't stop and we had to go out to take some fresh air as we were feeling that the others were thinking we were actually laughing at them .... we left the place and it started to rain very heavily, we tried to drive back home but it was completely impossible, we had to stop the car in the middle of the road as we can not see anything or drive properly, then laugh and laugh again under the rain.

My second most impressive smoking experience with Golden Tiger was with the improved GT fem version. A friend just harvested some huge GT outdoor trees of this newer GT version and i went to his village to visit him. He commented me how he and his friends were very impressed with GT's vigor, yield, potency and long lasting effects. He gave me some GT flowers to smoke, i initially doubt to smoke them as i had to drive back home, but i didn't want to be impolite and i finally accepted to smoke a nice joint. My failure. Then i went to the car and the 'problems' started to appear:

I felt like i was a playing a new video game for the first time, the surroundings looked unreal, i simply didn't know how to run my old car, i was totally tripping being unable to recognize properly the environment or how to use the car, finally i managed to use the car and i left the village ... i was close to be involved in a car accident in the highway when i was driving back home, i finally arrived safe back home. These and other similar experiences from close friends fully confirmed that strong Malawis and Malawi hybrids like Golden Tiger are not a good choice if you are using dangerous machinery or if you are in a social event with unknown people. It's an amazing trippy effect that is enjoyed at its best when you feel mentally confortable and when you are in a well known place, alone or with good friends which also enjoy with strong trippy sativas.

Got two females at least, and a nice La Affie x Nanan Bouclou male + a nice Thai x skunk male, and one more GT, thin leaves, purple stems, delicate looking compared to the other two, still got 10 GT's left, trial run first, see if I don't kill them, lol

I agree i have had 3 phenos and all were good in their own way, all 3 got me as high as I could handle I think GT is my all time fave go to weed for for loosing touch with everything.
I will always have a GT fem in every grow I do.

The power comes from Malawi so i would say they are equal since new golden tiger is a malawi x double thai x malawi i also want purple haze Malawi it was my first order in 2014 but i have had no luck with ace seeds something always screws me but one day man i will have my revenge fuck the police!
